Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :File:Muhammad Shah Rukh and Saleem Farooqi of Pakistan at the 1958 Asian Games. (Photo by The Asahi Shimbun via Getty Images).jpg ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

A tag has been placed on :File:Muhammad Shah Rukh and Saleem Farooqi of Pakistan at the 1958 Asian Games. (Photo by The Asahi Shimbun via Getty Images).jpg ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because it is a non-free file ↗ from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press ↗, Getty Images ↗), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the non-free content guidelines ↗, please add the appropriate non-free use tag ↗ and rationale.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. <!-- Template:Db-badfairuse-notice --> -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:48, 13 March 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Stablecoin. I noticed that you removed topically relevant content from :Umar Farooq Zahoor ↗. However, Wikipedia is not censored ↗. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article, even if the content is negative or offensive in nature. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure ↗ Wikipedia to hide images that you may find offensive. Take a look at the welcome page ↗ to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. :I explained everything in details, stop violating basic rules And so the buck stops (talk) 16:49, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
::You could have explained that on the talk page. If you don't stop edit warring you will be blocked--and that goes for whitewashing too, which seems to be what you are doing here. Drmies (talk) 16:52, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
30px|alt=Stop icon ↗ You may be '''blocked from editing ↗ without further warning''' the next time you vandalize ↗ Wikipedia, as you did at :Umar Farooq Zahoor ↗. <!-- Template:uw-vandalism4 --> Drmies (talk) 16:51, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

:@Drmies I explained in detail my edits and why they are not edit warring or whitewashing. Here is the court ruling news, if needed I can add into a separate section but it may be extra for the page. I will share on its talk page https://www.nation.com.pk/08-Apr-2025/ruling-issued-against-norway-tabloid-for-defaming-umar-farooq-zahoor Another one about Interpol https://www.nation.com.pk/15-Oct-2022/interpol-removes-actor-sophia-mirza-s-ex-husband-from-red-list (The name of Mr Zahoor was removed from the Red List after the fresh investigation, conducted by the officers of FIA who are appointed by the new Government, revealed that the allegations against Mr Zahoor were frivolous and politically motivated) And so the buck stops (talk) 17:03, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
::OMG why is it that you think that edit warring is a thing that can be solved by trying to prove you're right? You want to talk content? take it up on the article talk page, politely and concisely. You want to avoid a block? stop edit warring and stop trying to tell the admin who warns them about edit warring that they're not edit warring because they're right. Drmies (talk) 17:35, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

I answered here on your talk page not realizing you were still doing the same thing--well, now you can see about building a consensus on the article talk page. And try not to remove valid and useful formatting. If you don't know what I'm talking about, maybe WP:CIR ↗ is a page for you to read. Drmies (talk) 17:38, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

left|25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello And so the buck stops. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to :Umar Farooq Zahoor ↗, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements ↗. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest ↗ (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. '''Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia.''' Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view ↗ and what Wikipedia is not ↗ and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation ↗ regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization ↗.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page ↗ of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation ↗ process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are '''<u>required</u> by the Wikimedia Terms of Use ↗ to disclose your employer, client and affiliation.''' You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:And so the buck stops. The template {{tl|Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{tlc|paid|2=user=And so the buck stops|3=employer=<var>InsertName</var>|4=client=<var>InsertName</var>}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, '''do not edit further''' until you answer this message. <!-- Template:Uw-paid1 --> Stablecoin (talk) 07:26, 23 January 2026 (UTC)

Retail Motor Industry Federation not eligible for speedy delete

Retail Motor Industry Federation ↗ is not eligible for speedy delete, so if you want it deleted you must bring it up for an AfD. Also, I have concerns with any editor deleting a lot of information from an article then requesting speedy delete for the article. If you want an article to be considered for deletion, you should let the article as it has existed for many years be considered as a whole without that info removed.--SouthernNights (talk) 18:04, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

Your close of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rillet ↗

Hi, I think you made a mistake by closing this as a speedy keep. There are specific reasons for this close given at WP:SKCRIT ↗, and this didn't meet any of them, despite your statement that the nominating account was an SPA; it's not right to refer to an account with only a few edits that way, since as WP:10EDITS ↗ points out, {{tq|A user should not be tagged as an SPA just because they only have a handful of edits. It's not possible to edit multiple pages and multiple subjects if you've only made one edit so far! ... users with as few as five or even 10 edits are not necessarily SPAs even if those edits are on a single topic or appear to be promoting a "single purpose".}} Thus, I think you should undo your closure of that deletion discussion and let the process play out. Hatman31 <small>(he/him · talk · contribs ↗)</small> 17:00, 17 April 2026 (UTC)

:link=|25px|alt=Information icon ↗ There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents ↗ regarding an issue with which you may have been involved.&nbsp; The thread is Rillet AfD manipulation ↗.<!--Template:Discussion notice--><!--Template:ANI-notice--> &#126;2026-23925-52 ↗ (talk) 07:53, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

Closing AfDs

Per NACD ↗, you should not close a AfD discussion if {{tq|you are not fairly experienced with (or are unfamiliar with) Wikipedia policies and guidelines, in particular, the policies on consensus and deletion, and the workings of deletion discussions}}. Based on your edit history, I really don't think that you are familiar enough with Wikipedia's guidelines to close AfDs. Your closure of Rillet ↗ is concerning, as you are not assuming good faith ↗ of the nominator, and there's no evidence that it was a {{tq|failed nomination}}. Please do not continue to close AfDs. Thank you. <span style="color:#ff00ff">m</span><span style="color:#aa22aa">s</span> ↗<span style="color:#aa66aa">k</span> 01:32, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
