Darko US ↗ moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Darko US ↗, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable ↗, independent sources ↗. <small>(? ↗)</small> Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability ↗ is of central importance ↗ on Wikipedia). More importantly, you need to see if the band passes the guideline in WP:NBAND ↗. Athens Mass Transit System

I wish for someone to rewrite Athens Mass Transit System ↗ to focus more on Transport for Athens. I am very busy with the Zimbabwean banknotes article modernisation thing and other things. Best, --<span style="color:#00A4E0">Minoa</span> <small>(talk ↗)</small> 20:43, 8 January 2023 (UTC)

:The whole page is a mess. I think it is actually unnecessary since the Public transport in Athens ↗ page covers pretty much the same things. I also believe that there should be a focus on the history of transport in Athens too, which is a very rich topic that is being covered on a rather small scale in Wikipedia. The only problem with Athens' transit history is that it is lacking the necessary sourcing, as most of it can be found on public forums such as leoforeia.gr or mesametaforas.gr. Thanks for uploading ''':File:OXI coalition logo.png ↗'''. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to '''permissions-en@wikimedia.org'''.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗, use a tag such as {{tl|non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use ↗, and add a rationale ↗ justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags ↗ for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :File:OXI coalition logo.png ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

A tag has been placed on :File:OXI coalition logo.png ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement ↗. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators '''will be blocked from editing ↗'''.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you ''must'' verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗ for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy ↗ for more details, or ask a question here ↗.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. <!-- Template:Db-imgcopyvio-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> Whpq (talk) 03:07, 13 July 2023 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:DISY logo simple.png

64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thanks for uploading or contributing to ''':File:DISY logo simple.png ↗'''. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria ↗, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page ↗, and edit it to include a non-free rationale ↗.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions ↗" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion ↗ and ask for a chance to fix the problem.<!-- Template:You can request undeletion --> If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-no fair use rationale-notice -->

Gradient maps

Hi Argybz, thanks for the gradient maps on Parties' performance on the June 2023 Greek parliamentary election ↗ and May 2012 Greek parliamentary election ↗. I was just wondering about two things. 1 can you post those on the wikimedia commons, so the foreign wikipedias can share those maps as well and 2 will you be doing the same gradient maps on Parties' performance for the June 2012 election, 2015 elections and 2019 election. Muaza Husni (talk) 09:12, 26 July 2025 (UTC)

Hello Muaza Husni,
I have exported the June 2023 maps on Commons, so that they can be used in foreign Wikipedias. I will not export the May 2012 maps at the moment, as I plan on changing them a little bit so that the palettes will look a bit better. I plan on creating such maps for all post-1974 Greek elections, though it will probably take a lot of time until I have them all.

Question

You have recently added ↗ a detailed table of the vote distribution in the 1985 Greek parliamentary election ↗. Is it possible to provide a source? Material without sources are in danger to be removed. Also, do you think that this information could be better presented as a figure, i.e., a map of Greece? Many thanks in advance. :My bad for not providing the source. I will try and add it as soon as possible. When it comes to creating a map, I try to create maps of Greece for all elections, though I need a certain amount of time for that, which I don't always have. Removal of some things from the article List of bus routes in Athens

Hi, I saw that you removed some important things from that page, such in the 4xx, 5xx and 7xx busroutes section that you removed some routes that are served by some routes but aren't originally in the list, like Moschato, Moschato is served by the route 500 in the night and Elliniko is served by the route 790 in the night and also the route X14 (now night route) is removed but it's not an express route (techinicly it is but it runs to every stop it's way i wrote it) isn't there. Next time please do your research. Thanks! Ekpailou4 (talk) 11:34, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

:This is done in order to keep only regular daytime routes in the main part. Route 500 and route 790 are listed in the 'Other Special Routes' section. Moschato and Elliniko essentially are not served by routes 500 and 790 on regular schedules, but are rather served by Line 1 and Line 2 respectively. Be sure that I do my research every time for the past five years since I created the article. Next time please make sure to notice if a certain reason exists behind a certain feature of the article.
