:In short, because the infobox also had (empty) parameters for the type of successor and spouse. Removing those parameters works ↗; giving them non-empty values would also have worked, but leaving them blank suppresses the "spouse" and "successor" parameters. I have reverted the change to the dynastic name in two articles back from Bivinids to Bosonids. This is because the latter term is more familiar. If we are going to put the dynasty in the infobox, we should mention it somewhere in the article.
