25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm McGeddon. I noticed that you made a change to an article, :United States ↗, but you didn't provide a reliable source ↗. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Please note that the verifiability policy ↗ mandates that unsourced material that has been challenged, such as by a "fact" tag ↗, or by its removal, may not be added back without a reliable, published source being cited for the content, using an inline citation ↗. The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article, and the burden ↗ is on the person wishing to keep in the disputed material. So if you'd like to include a citation ↗ and re-add it, please do so, following these requirements! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners ↗ tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Some critics
Pretending that someone notable said something that they did not say is really unacceptable, whatever your motivation.
Wikipedia has all shades of opinion from Libertarian to Authoritarian, from laissez faire capitalist to collectivist, but the most important thing to remember is wp:NOTFORUM ↗. So long as the material you contribute is supported by a wp:reliable source ↗ and reflects a significant level of opinion (so not two people from opposite contintents on 4chan per wp:FRINGE ↗), then it certainly should be included in articles. But phrases like 'some critics' will rapidly get tagged with ''who? ↗'' and ''weasel wording ↗'' and most likely result in the whole sentence being deleted. So don't hide behind sloppy wording: if it is valid and supported by citation, then say it and say up front who said it! --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 12:03, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee ↗ is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process ↗. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans ↗, topic bans ↗, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy ↗ describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates ↗ and submit your choices on the '''2025|poll}}|voting page ↗'''. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{tlx|NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. <small>MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 18 November 2025 (UTC)</small>

About this edit ↗ at Board of Peace ↗
The edit violates MOS:US ↗, which says:
{{collapse|2=Expand to read|text=US is a commonly used abbreviation for United States, although U.S. – with periods and without a space – is common in North American publications, including in news journalism. Some American style guides, including The Chicago Manual of Style (since 2010), have deprecated U.S. and recommend US.
For commonality reasons, use US by default when abbreviating, but retain U.S. in American or Canadian English articles in which it is already established, unless there is a good reason to change it.
(note by me: no, "U.S." is not established on the article)}}
I'd like to ask you to self-revert, as neither of your two edits I've seen (including the previous one I reverted using Twinkle's AGF function) are in the types of vandalism ↗ and I do not want to exceed the one-revert restriction ↗ imposed by the Arbitration Committee
