The eruptions of the Parana and Etendeka traps may still have been explosive.

I understand why you removed the Parana LIP ignimbrite eruptions from the list because they were not unambiguously explosive.

However, there is still much debate over the manner in which these deposits were erupted.

This source for example (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0377027317302433) suggests that there are textural features within these deposits that suggests an explosive origin.
