Alicia Keys

Hi Brunox, long time no see! I hope you're doing well. I just recently started to feel that making Good topic ↗ for "Alicia Keys (.. or studio) albums" would be a cool thing, and I wanna ask your opinion about this. But please note that this is not a WikiProject, as "Alicia Keys WikiProejct" does not exist in here; it would be very great if we work together at improving Keys' albums articles.

For now, her first album became GA (by you, thanks!) and her seventh album is in FA status. I looked around her other albums articles, and their shapes are almost well structured. And I saw you're still contributing on her second album, so you can nominate it to GA and then I help you with addressing them what reviwer required. (I'm so sorry that I was absent during ''Songs in A Minor'' review, at that time I didn't know how to help..)

But hope you know that I'm semi-retired ↗ for preparing CSAT ↗, and I'm bit worried what if I can't help you immediately. However, I'll make sure that I will keep helping you on this, even though it's not on the spot. Also, I can make a potential topic box if you are going to participate in here. Thank you! <span style="font-family:'Serif';color:#efdee1;-webkit-text-stroke:0.5px #b23f69;text-shadow:-0.5px 1.5px 1px #2B0033">'''Camilasdandelions'''</span> (✉️) 05:48, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

:Hi! That sounds like a great idea. I've been thinking of nominating ''The Diary of Alicia Keys ↗'' for some time, as well as improving ''As I Am ↗'' to good-article quality, so I'd be happy to work with you on this :) Bronx Langford (talk) 09:29, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
::You seem to focus on her previous albums, so I'll take an effort at her recent albums then (OFC I will help you when improving old albums too)! <span style="font-family:'Serif';color:#efdee1;-webkit-text-stroke:0.5px #b23f69;text-shadow:-0.5px 1.5px 1px #2B0033">'''Camilasdandelions'''</span> (✉️) 12:20, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
:::Great! from ''The Element of Freedom'' onwards? Bronx Langford (talk) 12:21, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
::::I just looked around that article and... I'll be honest, I couldn't touch the article bcz it was "also" looking perfect for me LMAO! But ofc I'll touch few probs but as that article is very well written, I was even thinking if this article was former GA 😭 (Btw I saw some spots to fix in ''Girl on Fire'', so after I fix TEOF, I'll fix GOF then asap) <span style="font-family:'Serif';color:#efdee1;-webkit-text-stroke:0.5px #b23f69;text-shadow:-0.5px 1.5px 1px #2B0033">'''Camilasdandelions'''</span> (✉️) 12:26, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
:Since I would start with nominating ''The Diary'', is there anything you think should be altered before I do? Bronx Langford (talk) 09:31, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
::Thank you! First of all, I think we should fill {{para|alt}} in every picture, such as <code><nowiki>thumb|alt= ↗</nowiki></code>. <span style="font-family:'Serif';color:#efdee1;-webkit-text-stroke:0.5px #b23f69;text-shadow:-0.5px 1.5px 1px #2B0033">'''Camilasdandelions'''</span> (✉️) 10:40, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
:::Would you mind doing that? I've never really practiced that Bronx Langford (talk) 10:43, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
::::OK. BTW, I saw your edit sum that "hlist is not allowed in infobox". WDYM? Is there any MOS or WP related to this? Becuz I've been using this template in other articles' infoboxes and no one complained about that. <span style="font-family:'Serif';color:#efdee1;-webkit-text-stroke:0.5px #b23f69;text-shadow:-0.5px 1.5px 1px #2B0033">'''Camilasdandelions'''</span> (✉️) 11:39, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
:::::As per Template:Infobox album ↗, only regular bulleted lists should be used for multiple entries (e.g. studios). Bronx Langford (talk) 12:02, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
::::::Yes I know, but if some studios are located in same places, as I know, we can integrate it by using {{tl|hlist}}. Or.. we can use comma like Bedtime Stories (Madonna album) ↗? <span style="font-family:'Serif';color:#efdee1;-webkit-text-stroke:0.5px #b23f69;text-shadow:-0.5px 1.5px 1px #2B0033">'''Camilasdandelions'''</span> (✉️) 12:04, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
:::::::To be honest I'd rather list them alphabetically. It's more easily comprehensible that way. I also consider commas in infoboxes an eyesore, but that's subjective. Bronx Langford (talk) 12:07, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
::::::::{{ok}}, I won't mind, let's follow the future reviewer's comment :). <span style="font-family:'Serif';color:#efdee1;-webkit-text-stroke:0.5px #b23f69;text-shadow:-0.5px 1.5px 1px #2B0033">'''Camilasdandelions'''</span> (✉️) 12:15, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
::::Ahhh also in lead section I think we should use more participial construction ↗ rather than "and (verb)". It's just my opinion though <span style="font-family:'Serif';color:#efdee1;-webkit-text-stroke:0.5px #b23f69;text-shadow:-0.5px 1.5px 1px #2B0033">'''Camilasdandelions'''</span> (✉️) 11:52, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
:::::Can you give me an example of this? Bronx Langford (talk) 12:08, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
::::::{{xt|A substantial commercial success, it debuted atop the US Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 618,000 units, '''and became''' one of the best-selling albums of 2003 and 2004, both nationally and globally.}}
::::::{{xt|The Diary of Alicia Keys earned Keys nominations for numerous industry awards, '''and won''' her her second Grammy Award for Best R&B Album, among other awards. In retrospective commentaries, a multitude of critics stated that the album solidified Keys' status in the music industry, '''and extended''' her critical and commercial success past her debut. [...] In commemoration of its 20th anniversary, the album was reissued as The Diary of Alicia Keys 20 in December 2023, '''and won''' a Grammy Award for Best Immersive Audio Album.}}
::::::Like we can change them into "becoming", "winning", "extending" etc., but this is also subjective matter so.. <span style="font-family:'Serif';color:#efdee1;-webkit-text-stroke:0.5px #b23f69;text-shadow:-0.5px 1.5px 1px #2B0033">'''Camilasdandelions'''</span> (✉️) 12:19, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
:Here's the topic box. Are you going to improve her remix album and cast recording? Then the topic name would be "Alicia Keys albums".

Hush Hush; Hush Hush

This edit ↗ misses the point. Per WP:NFCC ↗, non-free images like single covers should be low-mid quality to demonstrate the point. You cannot reproduce high quality images as this breaches copyright laws. You also seem to misunderstand WP:BRD ↗, when you've made an edit and its reverted by someone else, the onus is on YOU (the person who wants to change the current state) to get a consensus. I don't actually care who makes an edit nor do I wish to own articles, everyone is welcome and encouraged to edit where they add value. But changing things for the sake of it or worse, changing things when they don't need doing e.g. procedurally to upload higher quality images than allowed, is not helpful. <span style="color:#01260d !important">>></span> <span style="color:#01260d !important">'''Lil-unique1'''</span> <span style="color:#01260d !important">'''('''</span><span style="color:#08752d !important">'''talk'''</span><span style="color:#01260d !important">''')'''</span> — 17:06, 1 May 2026 (UTC)

:The quality of the image I uploaded is not too high, otherwise it would've been replaced by a bot. Replacements of outdated images happen ''all'' the time, on pretty much all relevant album and single articles. It's not something that I randomly felt like doing.
:As for our other disputes, the problem that I have with you is not that I think you "own" articles, it's that you do not listen to anything I have to say in my explanations. You accuse me of making changes without describing my edits when I perfectly elaborate them (referencing certain rules on Wikipedia even) and you ''completely'' ignore that. Honestly, I find it disrespectful, when I've done nothing but tried to improve ''Doll Domination ↗''.
:By the way, I actually explained myself ''in detail'' on the ''Doll Domination'' talk page. You can go check that out if there are any misunderstandings left. Bronx Langford (talk) 17:19, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
::Sorry buddy but the above just negates assuming good faith ↗. BOTs do not always replace all high quality images. The "Hush Hush; Hush Hush" cover has been in place for years without any issue. As long as a non-free cover art is legible and demonstrates the topic at hand, it isn't an issue. As for ''Doll Domination ↗'', the original point stands, you added some content back and it was removed per WP:BRD ↗. The onus is on you to get consensus. If there's no discussion supporting the changes you want to make then the changes shouldn't happen. ''DD'' was an album that had multiple versions. There's probably 15-20 different pressings of the album with varying bonus tracks. WP:ALTTRACKLIST ↗ provides a strong guidance on how to apply WP:UNDUE ↗ and WP:INDISCRIMINATE ↗ when it comes to excessive track listings. If songs aren't discussed or don't attract critical commentary, aren't commonly released (i.e. limited markets) or don't get released as singles, there's often very little good reason for their inclusion. I've been editing wikipedia since around 2008 - I've never had issues with people finding me disrespectful so I'm sort of taken aback. Regarding 'Out of This Club' I have to admit, the information you cited is quite new. there's a challenge around that given that at the time 2000-2015, it was very common for labels to service us-only singles that only had radio releases. given the digital era, we end up in very difficult territory by policing how often something is classified a single or not. there are tonnes of examples, especially in popular music, of limited release singles. however, if you had gone out of your way to remove it in the infobox, you should have also removed it from the singles section, discography and chronology too otherwise its jarring for readers navigating the chronologies. to be fair to you, you have raised a good point on this single and it warrants further discussion so I would welcome other views. <span style="color:#01260d !important">>></span> <span style="color:#01260d !important">'''Lil-unique1'''</span> <span style="color:#01260d !important">'''('''</span><span style="color:#08752d !important">'''talk'''</span><span style="color:#01260d !important">''')'''</span> — 16:16, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
