Hey, you wrote that if Milikan was made speaker he would be the third speaker from the opposition. I can find James Alexander Jerome, but who was the other previous one? Thanks. -arctic gnome 23:56, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:HercCover1.jpg
<span style="font-size:32px; line-height:1em">'''35px|left|⚠ ↗'''</span> Thanks for uploading ''':File:HercCover1.jpg ↗'''. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use ↗. However, the image is currently orphaned ↗, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back ↗ if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media ↗).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions ↗" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any '''articles''' will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. Thank you. <!-- Template:Di-orphaned fair use-notice --> '''<span style="color:#874302; font-family:comic sans ms;">Zoo</span><span style="color:#d65518; font-family:comic sans ms;">Fari</span>''' 06:19, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Olympian characters
I like what you've done on pages like Typhon, Hera, and Athena! Do you have any updates for characters with more minor roles in the storyline, such as Apollo ↗, Artemis ↗, and Hephaestus ↗? 24.148.0.83 ↗ (talk) 22:38, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:RobertGhiz.jpg
32px|left ↗
Thanks for uploading ''':File:RobertGhiz.jpg ↗'''. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use ↗, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion ↗ in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
# Go to the media description page ↗ and edit it to add {{tlx|di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, '''without deleting the original replaceable fair use template'''.
# On the image discussion page ↗, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license ↗, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on <span class="plainlinks">[{{fullurl:Special:Contributions|target=CaptainCanada&namespace=6}} this link]</span>. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy ↗. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you. <!-- Template:di-replaceable fair use-notice --> Theleftorium (talk) 13:12, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion ↗ of Jeff Haffley ↗
left|link=|48px| ↗
The article Jeff Haffley ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗ because of the following concern:
:'''Only half a dozen passing refs on gnews; appears to be non notable.'''
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> Epeefleche (talk) 06:57, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

Hello
Hello. I’ve saw you created many articles on figure skaters. I’ve also created on Devid Naryzhnyy / Elizaveta Shanaeva who qualified for JGP final weeks ago, but it got nominated to get deleted because of the standard of the notability(It says only competing at junior world champion can be verified as having notability. Not for qualifying JGP Finals) There seems like not many people here know about figure skating, importance of qualifying the final. could you review here and put your honest vote? thank you. Alysa Liu
Captain, on 31 January 2020, you changed the citation format of Alysa Liu ↗ to a list format, even though it had used inline citations since it was created in July 2018 (by me). Why did you do that? I direct you to this policy: WP:ILCLUTTER ↗, which although it recommends a list format to decrease clutter, states, "As with other citation formats, articles should not undergo large-scale conversion between formats without consensus to do so." Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 04:29, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
My apologies, I certainly didn’t intend any offense. It seemed from my travels around the various FS articles that this was the more common citation in use for them, so I thought it would be consistent and didn’t think further on it than that. If there’s a policy that weighs against that, quite right that it should be followed. CaptainCanada (talk) 04:37, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
No problem. You really shouldn't make any widescale changes to any article before gaining consensus on the talk page. You go to the talk page and say, "Hey guys, I noticed that most FS articles have the list format; how come this one doesn't?" And then I probably would've said something like, "Oh no particular reason; it's just my preference." And then you could've come back and said, "Well, shouldn't these articles be consistent?" and I would've answered, "Not necessarily", and the discussion would've continued until you saw that I was right. ;) Hey, would you mind changing it back? I ask because all the other editors have been following the OG inline format and we don't wanna confuse anyone. Thanks. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 05:19, 5 February 2020 (UTC)

It is not "minor" to change another editor's preferred wording
After all, it's specifically the move 2.Ke2 which violates opening principles. The standard wikipedia undo function does not mark the edit as minor by default, so I don't know where you get the stuff about "revert tools" from, unless you mean "anti-vandalism tools". No apologies for persisting with this when you refuse to acknowledge wikipedia community standards and insist on deleting from your talk page and replying in annoying edit summaries. Please use edit summaries in the main space
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia ↗. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary ↗. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary ↗, or by discussion on the Talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief ↗.
The edit summary field looks like this:
{{Edit summary field/OOUI}}
'''Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make.''' When logged in to your Wikipedia account ↗, you can give yourself a reminder by setting {{myprefs|3|check={{int:tog-forceeditsummary}}}}, and then click the "{{int:saveprefs}}" button.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Master Izo.jpg
64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading ''':File:Master Izo.jpg ↗'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline ↗ is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag ↗; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-disputed fair use rationale-notice -->

Please use edit summaries when changing articles
{{Edit summary field/OOUI}}
or in the visual editor:
{{Edit summary field/VisualEditor}}
'''Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make.''' When logged in to your Wikipedia account ↗, you can give yourself a reminder by setting {{myprefs|3|check={{int:tog-forceeditsummary}}}}, and then click the "{{int:saveprefs}}" button.

Patrick Roy Trophy ↗ moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Patrick Roy Trophy ↗. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because '''it needs more sources to establish notability'''.
I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page ↗.
When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. :Why is this being assessed via a different standard than every other CHL Award? As of now the Roy Trophy is the only one that does not have its own entry. CaptainCanada (talk) 14:00, 21 September 2025 (UTC)
2025–26 Montreal Canadiens season
Hi there,
Just an FYI that there are a couple of minor errors with respect to your recent edits to 2025–26 Montreal Canadiens season ↗.
Please know that game summaries cites derived from NHL.com always lists teams alphabetically. In this case, the two (2) most recent listings under Schedule and results ↗ should read as: "Montréal Canadiens - Seattle Kraken - Oct 14, 2025" & "Montréal Canadiens - Nashville Predators - Oct 16, 2025".
Next, Jakub Dobeš ↗ as the Goals against average leader under the infobox is considered WP:OVERLINK ↗ as he is already linked above under Wins. 207.231.224.115 ↗ (talk) 16:15, 17 October 2025 (UTC)
