I notice in Special:Diff/1287737112/1289892526 ↗ that for example {{para|author|Rukmini Callimachi}} is changed to {{para|author|Callimachi}} + {{para|first|Rukmini}}. This is confusing. If there is a "first" there should be a matching "last". My only other comment would be to place the work/website fields prior to URLs, keeping the URL technical information at the end and the author date title work information near the start, mirroring how it displays thus logically oriented. Ordering is not required but if you are reordering anyway, it's best practice. Ukrainian topic articles



Hey CitationAuditor, thought I'd reach out in case you'd be interested. Based on your talkpage posts here ↗ and here ↗, it sounds like you have a strong interest/passion for Ukraine-related topics and thought I'd invite you to join WikiProject Ukraine ↗. There's a lot of work to be done and your help would be really appreciated! :) Helping expand/improve coverage of Ukrainian history, culture, and geography articles would help the project and Ukraine a lot more than debates on article titles imo and is something that is in need a lot of work. I can also suggest some areas in need of work plus also could really use some help on some Ukrainian articles I've been working on too if you're interested. Personally I think waiting until sometime in the future to improve English Wikipedia's content on Ukrainian culture actually helps Russian propaganda by decreasing the availability of quality information and allowing that propaganda to fill in the void but that's just my opinion. I know from my experience it can also be difficult to readily find good English online materials on a lot of Ukrainian history and culture and I think that contributes a great deal to simplistic understandings of the events in 2014-2015 and also nowadays. I won't write one darn article about Ukrainian culture art/food/dance/whatever until the wikiproject actually starts caring about respecting '''full Ukrainian sovereignty''' over all its territory - including Crimea, Donbas, and Luhansk. ::::Well, Ukrainian culture ↗ is not simply "pop culture" and Donbas includes Luhansk (Donetsk is the oblast). I think you miss a valuable aspect of what your phrase "full Ukrainian sovereignty" includes: sovereignty over national identity and the history and culture of the land, not just the land itself. In any case, I don't mind you not being on the Wikiproject or whatnot. If your going to edit in contentious topics though, just keep in mind WP:Policies ↗ (especially Wikipedia:Consensus ↗), and being very specific on what changes in which articles you'd like to see. Truth doesn't care what other Wikipedia people want to say, Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 and anyone saying otherwise is either really dumb or really evil. ::::::Actually haven't written about or done much of any edits to any Ukrainian musicians as of yet though I've been thinking of working on some classic Ukrainian folksongs eventually. In any case, I haven't heard of a consensus like that but if you believe there is, post at the Wikipedia:Help desk ↗ or Wikipedia:Village pump ↗ about it and they'll be able to help more and will definitely fix the situation.
