LLM output in Heliodorus stele ↗
I see you've been active following a ping ↗ at WP:ERRORS ↗ regarding LLM output inserted into the article (and missed by a few of us in our reviews); after your most recent edits you've been pinged at Template:Did you know nominations/Heliodorus stele ↗. Please join the conversation at the nomination page; if you don't, the nomination is likely to be closed as rejected because editors will not know the extent and nature of LLM use in the article. Thanks! Dclemens1971 (talk) 14:18, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
:Hey @Dclemens1971, thanks for the heads up! I must have missed this. I'll comment there in a moment. Mariamnei (talk) 05:52, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
Your TFA/R nomination
It's too early. We need to schedule another three weeks first. It should be within a week. Then you can transclude it again. Please note the instructions. Wehwalt (talk) 13:21, 20 April 2026 (UTC)

Tagging if Rainer Borriss
I noticed that you tagged Rainer Borriss ↗ questioning a pass of WP:NPROF ↗. I found that a bit odd as his citations are strong, so I removed it. IMO he would easily survive AfD. As part of my NPP review I did remove several very minor and unsourced items listed under awards, and also tagged it as resume-like. Ldm1954 (talk) 09:36, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
:@Ldm1954 - Sorry I somehow missed this message. I looked at the article again and the only thing that makes me think it would pass WP:NPROF ↗ is the National Prize of the GDR in Science and Technology. The other citations are to articles he himself wrote. But if you think it passes, I will trust your judgement. Mariamnei (talk) 11:18, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
::His citation record in GS is pretty strong. Some of the top papers are team efforts, so those are less clear; on at least the 2nd and 4th he is the last author which indicates a major role. He has a decent number of other papers with less authors. You are right that the sources are almost all his, so a Third-party tag is appropriate and I just added it. Ldm1954 (talk) 14:26, 11 May 2026 (UTC)

NPP question
Hello! I am new to NPP and I noticed that sometimes you will tag pages and leave talk page comments, but you will not mark the page as 'reviewed'. I am wondering if you do this on purpose with pages that are not necessarily 'good to go' and need some work, but also not terrible enough to delete or draftify? Since I am new to reviewing I just want to make sure I am following what others are doing, so I thought I would ask. I appreciate the help! FiddleheadLady (talk) 01:53, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
:@FiddleheadLady - Welcome to NPP and thank you for writing to me. I usually will only mark as "reviewed" if it's 'good to go' or very close (such as a minor comment that wouldn't really prevent the page from being marked as reviewed either way). I think other reviewers may have slightly lower standards for when to mark as reviewed (possibly as long as the page passes on a more basic level), so feel free to ask around. Have a great day! Mariamnei (talk) 09:54, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
::@Mariamnei This is helpful to know - thank you!! FiddleheadLady (talk) 00:37, 29 April 2026 (UTC)
BLAR'ed an article you reviewed
Hi Mariamnei, I wanted to reach out and tell you that I WP:BLAR ↗'ed Lucia Simonelli ↗ to direct to 2026 United States House of Representatives elections in Pennsylvania ↗. The article lacked notability, and was mainly supported by local media or other campaign materials. The main point of notability is that Simonelli is running for an election whose primary has not even occurred yet. The last AfD ↗ was a month ago, and little has changed since then. In addition to that, what appears to be a CoI also impacted the article.
I want to notify you for the sake of clarity, as you reviewed the article at NPP. If you disagree, feel free to revert my action and we can take this to AfD instead.
Cheers, GGOTCC 16:56, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
:@GGOTCC - Thank you for writing to me. There seem to have been quite a few independent sources about the candidate, so I thought it met the last clause of WP:NPOL ↗ that "such people can still be notable if they meet the general notability guideline". Can you explain what I am missing here? Thanks and have a great day! Mariamnei (talk) 07:22, 29 April 2026 (UTC)
Baloo
Hi Mariamnei. Thanks for your work. Your review of Baloo (company) ↗ is a little concering. Please go through WP:TRADES ↗ and WP:ORGTRIV ↗ as standard of requirement for companies is quite high. Also, the article you reviewed is full of affiliate marketing links. Please review company articles only if coverage is focused on it. Affiliate marketing links of products are never useful. Thanks, ~2026-26103-65 ↗ (talk) 00:14, 29 April 2026 (UTC)
:@~2026-26103-65 - While the tone might be slightly promotional, I don't see a major problem with the sources. A review in NY Times is significant. I honestly don't think it fails notability, but feel free to put up for a vote. Mariamnei (talk) 06:17, 29 April 2026 (UTC)

'''Backlog update'''
At the time of this message, there are 15,282 articles and 32,951 redirects awaiting review.
After the January–February drive the article backlog was reduced to 15,179 articles and the redirect backlog to 19,053 respectively. Great job! However, both queues are growing rapidly and any additional reviews are highly appreciated.
'''2024 and 2025 NPP Awards'''

{{no ping|Hey man im josh}} and {{no ping|MPGuy2824}} won the Redirect Ninja Master Award for 2024 and 2025 respectively, for reviewing the most redirects.
Overall in 2024, one Platinum, two Gold, eight Silver, 12 Bronze and 45 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 66 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year. In 2025, one Platinum, ten Silver, 13 Bronze and 38 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 38 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year.

Why is Summer Okibe's article nominated for deletion
Hi there. I'd like to know Why the Summer Okibe's article has been nominated for deletion especially considering it was only just moved to the mainspace few minutes ago. I'd also asked other experienced editors to help suggest corrections and make it better(via its talk page), I believe a response to that would have been more appropraite than a nomination for deletion. Criticism of Abraham Lincoln
Hello, I just want to give my take on the removal of 'Criticism of Abraham Lincoln'
The article is a synthesis of widely discussed historical interpretations of Abraham Lincoln’s legacy rather than a reproduction of any single source, most of The information I used came from Howard Zinn's 'A People's History of The United States' ↗. I used some opinions from Libertarians like Murray Rothbard ↗ and Ron Paul ↗ to keep the article non-partisan, as well as some generic mainstream sources like History.com.
I have never seen or heard of that article before - I skimmed through it, and it and from what I've seen it largely portrays Lincoln as very positive.
“As a boy, no less than since, Abraham Lincoln had an honorable conscientiousness, integrity, industry, and an ardent love of knowledge.”
“These are very humble incidents, but they illustrate the man's perfect conscientiousness—his sensitive honesty—better perhaps than they would if they were of greater moment.”
“He passed, unmoved by worldly fear or pelf; In all his lusty toil he found not God, In the wilderness he found himself.”
I apologize for this misunderstanding.

::@NorthernWinds if you're up for helping with GAs, would you be interested in taking a look at Hasmonean Judea ↗? 😊 I think it's pretty close to GA level, but there's still some work needed before it's ready for a successful nomination. A few things that might help: checking the text against the references, doing a copy edit pass for clarity wherever needed, and seeing if there's any important information missing. One thing worth keeping in mind: it's already at 8,839 words, just over the 8,000-word mark where length starts to become a consideration. That said, it's just a general guideline, not a hard rule, and can be exceeded if the topic warrants it; length is only one of several GA criteria, so it shouldn't be the main concern. <span style="font:italic bold 115% Palatino,Georgia,serif;color:#1A4A3A;">Mariamnei</span> ✦ <span style="color:#2D7A5F;font-style:italic;font-size:85%;">reach out 🕊️</span> 08:08, 24 June 2026 (UTC)

Question about India at the 2028 Summer Olympics redirect. Xandercorvus389 (talk) 11:33, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
: Hello! I noticed that you redirected India at the 2028 Summer Olympics ↗ because of weak sourcing and lack of notability. I was hoping you could clarify what would be needed for the article to be considered suitable as a standalone page.
: My understanding was that the ICC announcement was sufficient to verify India's qualification in women's cricket, although I appreciate that it is a primary source. Would additional independent secondary sources be required before the article should exist, or do you feel it is simply too early for a separate article until more Indian athletes qualify?

''Jim Rome Is Burning'' brief restoration
Just to be clear, I don't make it a habit to restore bad articles. Part of the reason that I did that was not just to reverse the action of a sock, but because of the timing: The BLAR was less than three hours after the tag was applied.
