How?

That sounds interesting: "(I suggest setting up watchlist notifications for comments on DYK noms" - but I am not aware of how this can be done? I gave up on watchlist since mine has thousands of articles (mostly created by me, which is why I don't want to let them go), and even cleaning them up is too cumbersome, and I can't decide to just delete 100% entries, since occasionally I do look at it and see something of interest. Being able to get a notificaiton about a DYK nom discussion would be good, but it doesn't use thread subscription, so I don't know how to solve it, except hoping folks will either ping me or drop a talk page message (when I review a DYK and there is an issue, I do both). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:12, 12 June 2026 (UTC)

:Notification in the sense of a focused watchlist that actually informs, rather than a ping. My watchlist is over 1000 pages too so I started using labels, and I label every DYK I create with a distinct label. Then when I check my watchlist, if I have active DYK noms I can filter for just those. I find it helpful! Dclemens1971 (talk) 03:30, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
::And, a ping @Piotrus Dclemens1971 (talk) 03:31, 12 June 2026 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for flagging Independent Church Of India ↗ and moving it to the draftspace. I'm pretty sure that Hmar Welfare Development Council ↗ is also AI, (see previous discussion on the user's talk page) but idk if it should be drafted too. It looks like they're deleting much of the content on it too now. Fortek67 (talk) 18:10, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

Typhoon Studios hook

Hey, thanks for the ping! I don't think the new hook is entirely accurate. Journey to the Savage Planet was the studio's only game, and solely the Stadia version was affected. I don't mind leaving out the Stadia part for brevity, but I do think it should make clear that they had only one game. Could this be amended? Thanks! IceWelder [✉] 16:28, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

:@IceWelder How about "left its game on Google's gaming platform" instead? Dclemens1971 (talk) 16:34, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
::I suppose "gaming" can be left out as this is clear in context, otherwise fine with me. IceWelder [✉] 16:37, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

Infobox image question

Hey there, thanks for your clarification about the painting on the Soubrany article Special:Diff/1361911951 ↗

But I wanted to ask you why the painting can't remain in the infobox, even though historians aren't sure which person represents Soubrany? Soubrany is still one of the subjects of the painting. Is that a "best practice" or guideline thing? There is another image of their suicide that is a bit older (circa 1831, I believe) as well, if date of authorship is an issue: :File:Image raffet auguste mort de romme goujon duquesnoy duroy soubrany bourbotte. g.29124 712201 (cropped).jpg ↗Chao Garden 🌱 ~ say hello 23:05, 30 June 2026 (UTC)

:WP:LEADIMAGE ↗ says “Lead images should be natural and appropriate representations of the topic”. This image would be fine as the lead image for an article about the executions or the Prairial martyrs as a group, but it’s not an appropriate lead image for Soubrany because it’s uncertain who in the image he is, and the primary figure in the image isn’t Soubrany. It’s also not contemporary to him so there’s no certainty that whatever figure represents Soubrany actually looked like him. It’s fine to include in the article as representation of his role in this incident but shouldn’t be the lead image. If you disagree, feel free to revert me and start a discussion on the talk page. Thanks! Dclemens1971 (talk) 23:21, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
::Hmmmm that's much more subjective reason than I thought. I'll ask around some more first. Mainly I disagree with the very long caption and calling the painting ''The Martyrs of Prairial'' (contra to the Centre national des arts plastiques ↗, which calls it ''Les Derniers Montagnards'') — Chao Garden 🌱 ~ say hello 23:28, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Feel free to change the caption to a different title. Martyrs of Prairial seems to be more common but I am not sure? My strong view here is that this image does not belong in the Infobox, and that if the image is used in the article it needs to be specified that Soubrany’s identity in the image is unknown. Dclemens1971 (talk) 23:39, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
::::I'm not 100% sure either, to be honest. You may be right about that being a more common name; I'm just cautious about it since CNAP says differently. Also I moved some of the caption into a footnote; is that all right? Caption now just says: {{tq|"''Les Derniers Montagnards'' (1882) by Charles Ronot, which depicts the suicide of the five deputies}} (too little detail upfront?) — Chao Garden 🌱 ~ say hello 23:46, 30 June 2026 (UTC)

Request for article review

Hello @Dclemens1971. My sincere gratitude for the guidance and support you have consistently provided. Your constructive feedback has been invaluable to our team. I would like to kindly request your review of the article Funke Felix Adejumo ↗ once again. It was previously tagged due to concerns about possible large language model (LLM) usage, and the concerned editor @Jespinama (User talk:Jespinama - Wikipedia) has revised it. We would be grateful if you could take another look and let us know whether the article now meets Wikipedia's standards or if there are any remaining issues that should be addressed. Draft article at AfC

Hi! I came across an article you recently draftified – Draft:Birmingham New Jerusalem Temple ↗ – and expanded it using independent sources, hopefully sufficient to overcome the original issues when it was put in mainspace. Although I am an AfC reviewer I can't now accept it: I can only submit to the queue. Shall I do so, or would you like to take a look and see if it's ready for mainspace? Cheers, Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 15:34, 9 July 2026 (UTC)

:@Hassocks5489 Use of AfC isn't a requirement for moving articles to mainspace. Anyone is welcome to move it to mainspace directly if they think it qualifies.
