Clarification

Noticed Suzuki mentioned me on her talk page when answering you, so I'd like to set the record straight.<br>
They created a page titled "Kołomyja Uprising", which was an event that (as far as I can tell) they completely made up with bogus sources. I outlined my rationale in this diff ↗. We then got into a bit of an argument on the article's talk page while I was drunk, we both said some things we should have, and an ANI thread ↗ where I apologised and the other editor was silent. They've since deleted the info from their talk page and, I believe, am attempting to hide all of this from other users.<br>
TheRealJakub (talk) 12:43, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

:Yeah mate I remember now. Just to clarify on my end when I said "Asking for a friend." I wasn't mentioning you like Suzuki thought I was. I knew I previously saw their name somewhere I just couldn't quite remember were since from were since they deleted their whole talk page which confused me. Thanks, Fortek67 (talk) 14:13, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

January 2026

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Danners430. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, :Chiltern Railways ↗, but you didn't provide a reliable source ↗. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable ↗. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation ↗, your edit is archived in the page history ↗. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-unsourced1 --> <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 18:45, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

:@Danners430, please revert your edit. The source can be found here: https://www.chilternrailways.co.uk/our-fleet/new-trains Fortek67 (talk) 18:48, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::Firstly, two of the edits you made had no source at all. Second, as I explained in another edit summary, where on that page does it explicitly say that the trains entered service today? That’s a page advertising that new trains are coming - we know they’re entering service with Chiltern, that’s been in the articles for months. But there’s no mention that today is the first in-service date. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 18:50, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
:::Look at the pictures I took today then... This is the exact train https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:C90879/2026-01-26/detailed Fortek67 (talk) 18:52, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::::I’m not in any way doubting the accuracy of the information you’re adding - I’ve seen the pictures too. But Wikipedia does not run on original research ↗, which “I know it to be true” is, or user-generated content ↗ which pictures are - Wikipedia runs on reliable sources. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 18:54, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::Ok, please now confirm that source I sent of the train departure. If you accept that please undo what you did. Fortek67 (talk) 18:57, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::If you mean RTT, no - it’s bee discussed multiple times at length, and it’s not reliable - see WP:REALTIMETRAINS ↗. Put simply, the data displayed by RTT is only as good as what’s put into TRUST - there are innumerable instances where you’ll see bizarre train formations which cannot ever possibly happen shown on RTT, for no reason other than that’s what was input into the system.
::::::Put simply - what we need is something from a reliable source that says explicitly that the trains have entered passenger service. That may not be available immediately - and that’s fine, there is no deadline ↗. If need be we need to wait until a reliable source is indeed available. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 19:00, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::Ok, I saw what you said that RealTimeTrains aren't reliable. Could you please find a source then? That's why before I included [citation needed]. I couldn't find an actual source that they are in service today. Please help me with this as soon as possible to keep information reliable and up-to-date. Fortek67 (talk) 18:59, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::Unfortunately that fails WP:BURDEN ↗ - it’s your responsibility as the editor adding content to provide a reliable source. Of course others will help - the problem arises when you add unsourced content to articles… you can of course ask for help via talk pages. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 19:01, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::So - a quick search on Google is fruitless unfortunately. My guess is that unless Chiltern make an official announcement, it’ll be tomorrow or even a day or two before the Railway Beanos pick up the story and publish something. Unfortunately that’s just how it is sometimes - we’re not a news outlet, we’re an encyclopaedia, so sometimes we just have to wait until a reliable source becomes available ↗. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 19:04, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::::This is ridiculous. I know that Wikipedia is strict when it comes to sources, but I have already shown you all evidence that this information is correct. I get that I can't use that information as a source, but you know yourself that it's true. Please just mark the information with [citation needed] for editors to soon add reliable information. I don't want other people editing that page with exactly what I did (and not adding a source), since that would waste their and my time, which it has already for me. Fortek67 (talk) 19:08, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::::As I said above - adding content with a Citation Needed tag goes against policy, specifically WP:BURDEN ↗. Unfortunately policies aren’t optional, that’s why they’re called policies. I’ve done some searching and can’t find anything yet - but it won’t take long for a reliable source to materialise. And when it does, we can revert the removals and add the source then.
::::::::My suggestion would be to have a read of WP:TRUTH ↗. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> <sub>tweaks made ↗</sub></span> 19:11, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::How about we at least add the new pictures? Fortek67 (talk) 19:13, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::Absolutely no harm in adding pictures whatsoever - as long as we don’t claim that it’s the first day of passenger service without a source. We can easily caption it as {{tq|Chiltern Mk5a set at FooBar Railway Station on the 42nd Febanuary 1945}} (being obvious with my placeholder text because I don’t know where or when the photos are actually from :D) <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 19:17, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::Actually, never mind that. If you look deeper into my original source, ↗ (by opening the "Which services will these trains run on?" FAQ), it says: "Our Chiltern Explorer trains will launch on Monday 26th January on four weekday services between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone. The remaining trains will be introduced at different stages through 2026."
:::::::::Please confirm this source and add it with also my original edits. Fortek67 (talk) 19:16, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::That’s a trickier one actually - I personally would still be against it, purely because of WP:CRYSTAL ↗ - that’s their website stating that their plan is to introduce them on day X, not stating that it’s actually happened. It’s a bit here and there though… might be better to get a wider opinion on it - might I suggest raising that specific issue at WT:WikiProject UK Railways ↗? They’re usually quick to respond, and better to get a third opinion as I’m not too sure. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 19:19, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::Do I really have to do this? No offence, but you're making this harder and more complicated than it should be. I would get it if the date was a long way away, but come on, I think the reader is smart enough to understand that the trains are in service, with the pictures provided. Fortek67 (talk) 19:24, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::This is standard Wikipedia policy. And it has to be said, this happens every time one of these events take place - when a train has a farewell tour, everyone wants to be the first to change the Wikipedia page to say they’ve been withdrawn… when there is no source to say they actually have. I’m sorry mate, but that is just how Wikipedia works - as an encyclopaedia we’re based on verifiable facts, backed up by reliable sources. And having just spent five minutes scrolling through google, unfortunately those reliable sources simply don’t exist yet.
::::::::::::Honestly - there quite simply is no rush. Give it time - it could be a few hours and something suddenly pops up from Rail Magazine, or it could be an announcement by Chiltern tomorrow. As I said before, there’s no deadline. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 19:28, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::I have started a discussion ↗ like you suggested on the UK Railways WikiProject. Fortek67 (talk) 19:38, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::Also worth noting - please don’t add galleries like you did on one of the articles, as this violates WP:GALLERY ↗. Galleries have a specific and narrow use on Wikipedia, and shoe-horning extra images into an article is not one of them. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 18:51, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
:::Ok, sorry I didn't know. I will delete the gallery. Fortek67 (talk) 18:53, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
::::No worries - as much as what I say can sound harsh, I’m not here to be mean or angry - we all start somewhere, and we don’t all know every policy on day one! <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 18:55, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Pieńsk railway station ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

Hello, Fortek67. This message concerns the Articles for Creation ↗ submission or draft ↗ page you started, "Pieńsk railway station ↗".

Drafts that go unedited for six months are eligible for deletion, in accordance with our draftspace policy ↗, and this one has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply {{edit|Draft:Pieńsk railway station|edit the submission}}, and remove the {{tlc|db-afc}}, {{tlc|db-draft}}, or {{tlc|db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you read this, you can '''request its undeletion''' ↗. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the draft so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! <!-- Template:Db-draft-notice --> DreamRimmer bot II (talk) 17:25, 6 February 2026 (UTC)

G15

Hi there! I'm reaching out more personally because you recently nominated a large number of articles for G15 speedy deletion ↗ without explaining why you believed the articles were LLM-generated ''without reasonable human review''. Based on a quick look at these articles, they do not contain communication intended for the user nor are the sources implausible, non-existent, or nonsensical. I've added discussion to each individual page, but I wanted to bring this to your talk page, as well. Nominating a bunch of articles by a single editor is extremely bitey behaviour, especially when it's not clear that the articles meet the speedy deletion criteria. This could be considered disruptive editing. In the future, I recommend nominating a page or two first to see if there's agreement that these articles meet the criteria. If they're deleted, then you can nominate the others. Significa liberdade <small>(she/her)</small> (talk) 01:31, 4 April 2026 (UTC)

:Follow-up: I saw the discussion over at AI clean up. As an alternative to deletion ↗, I have moved the relevant articles to the draft space. Significa liberdade <small>(she/her)</small> (talk) 01:59, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
::Hi @Significa liberdade, thank you for your review and drafting of the nominated articles. I am very sorry for being unclear. This was my first time nominating articles for deletion. I did ask my mentor how to do so beforehand; and then confirmed with them after the first nomination to make sure I didn't make any mistakes or forget anything, they said no.
::Now, there are more articles to be cleaned up. How can I do this correctly next time, in a mass like I just did? Also will I have to nominate them specifically to be drafted instead, and if I have to, can I do this with Twinkle? Thanks, Fortek67 (talk) 04:26, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
:::If they're from the same editor, I suggest installing WP:MOVETODRAFT ↗. Then, you can tag the articles as LLM-generated, then move to draft. When you do so, click the box that says the article is AI-generated. You may want to add a dummy edit ↗ or a notice on the talk page linking to the relevant discussion. Significa liberdade <small>(she/her)</small> (talk) 04:32, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
::::@Significa liberdade, thanks for the script. One question - when you draft these articles, do they work the same way as AfC drafts? As in, do they get automatically deleted after a while of being abandoned (not edited)? Thanks, Fortek67 (talk) 08:30, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::Yup! When the article gets moved to draftspace, it's the same as any other draft. As a note, there are specific guidelines around draftification, so make sure you check out WP:DRAFTIFY ↗ and WP:DRAFTNO ↗. Significa liberdade <small>(she/her)</small> (talk) 16:45, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::@Significa liberdade, do I need the page mover permission to conduct these drafts? There is still a lot of work to do with cleaning up these articles by Input Zoom... Could I just pass this information onto someone else? Also at least one more article for now, Wałbrzych Główny railway station ↗, needs to be drafted or deleted. Thanks, Fortek67 (talk) 19:15, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::Hi there! You don't need the page mover abilities to do draftifications. It will just leave behind a cross-namespace redirect, which an admin will come delete (MoveToDraft automatically tags it). That said, I can look through the rest of Input Zoom's contributions for further draftification. Significa liberdade <small>(she/her)</small> (talk) 21:16, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::Thank you, @Significa liberdade. Though I think Chaotic Enby has/will soon also go ahead with the draftification. Fortek67 (talk) 21:20, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted

right|80px ↗
Hi Fortek67, I just wanted to let you know that I have <span class="plainlinks">added ↗</span> the autopatrolled user right ↗ to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed ↗. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested ↗ on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers ↗.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject ↗ templates, stub tags ↗, categories ↗, and incoming links ↗ to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies ↗, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller ↗ yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! <b style="color: teal; font-family: Tahoma">HJ&nbsp;Mitchell</b> &#124; <span style="color: navy; font-family: Times New Roman" title="(Talk page)">Penny for your thoughts?</span> 17:07, 13 May 2026 (UTC)

:Nicholasfromtarponsprings, no, you do not need to know HTML to write an article. Instead, Wikipedia uses wikitext ↗. Question from Skyzess (16:33, 3 June 2026)

Hey Fortek67,
I would like to know whether or not edits should be made using information only a number of professionals studying the information, or that edits must only be made with information all/nearly all professionals ascribe to. If not, should it be stated the facts about a certain thing are still debated? --Skyzess (talk) 16:33, 3 June 2026 (UTC)

:Skyzess, as long as the text is support by a reliable source ↗, it should be fine. Per WP:WEIGHT ↗, {{tq|Neutrality requires that mainspace articles and pages fairly represent all significant viewpoints that have been published by reliable sources, in proportion to the prominence of each viewpoint in those sources.}} – articles should be written in a neutral point of view ↗, you should cover all views. LLMPROD on Black Council (novel) ↗

Hi Fortek67, I noticed you prodded Black Council (novel) ↗, which is quite long. The majority of the article (the plot) was written by a different editor who nominated it for DYK, and as far as I can tell, they have not had issues with AI edits. WP:LLMPROD ↗ states that you should {{tq|make sure the creator is its only significant contributor}}, so in this case, PROD would not be suitable. In the future, please check the history to ensure there are no other significant contributors. Thanks! ARandomName123 (talk)<span style="color: green"><small>Ping me!</small></span> 06:19, 10 June 2026 (UTC)

:Hi ARandomName123. The article was created by a user who creates articles with an LLM, hence why the article was PROD'd. The edit summary specifically says to revert the PROD if another user improves the article, so no issue here. Fortek67 (talk) 07:03, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
::My point is, the article shouldn't have been PROD'd in the first place, as LLMPROD only applies to articles where the AI editor is the primary contributor. In this article, another editor also made significant contributions, so LLMPROD should not have been applied. Check semi-automated edits

Hi, I noticed {{diff2|1359514864|this edit}}, which I assume was semi-automated (find and replace). Just a quick note to check if the replacements are appropriate or if further updates are needed. In this case, you left the text "Silesian Railways (Silesian Railways)" in the article (which I've corrected). Cheers, Suriname0 (talk) 20:21, 15 June 2026 (UTC)

:Hi Suriname0, thanks for the correction. Yes, the edits are semi-automated off a very basic AWB find and replace script. I very briefly checked all 200 or so edits every time, correcting any mistakes such as the file name being replaced. Obviously I didn't notice this one, so thank you for the correction. Fortek67 (talk) 20:25, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
::Makes sense, thanks for the reply. I do think it's a good update, so thanks for doing it. Suriname0 (talk) 20:31, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
:Oh yeah and the replacement you made is indeed correct. Fortek67 (talk) 20:26, 15 June 2026 (UTC)

Some guidance needed

Hello, sorry to trouble you.

I was going through article edits which have suspected AI-generated ↗ content in them and tracked down an edit made by a currently active user. I'm not too sure whether to notify the editor on their talk pages first, maybe settle it one-to-one or to bring the case directly through WP:AIN ↗. PeepeeDino (talk) 11:59, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

:No worries PeepeeDino, thanks for asking. Honestly it depends. If it's only a few edits, let's say around 30 or less (there is no official number) then honestly don't bother posting on AIN. You should instead post {{t|Uw-ai1}} (<code><nowiki>{{subst:Uw-ai1}}</nowiki></code>) on their talk page and revert all AI-generated edits. Now, if said user also created numerous AI-generated articles, then you should bring it up to AIN. If the user continues to make AI-generated edits then you can also bring it up to AIN, albeit you escalate the warnings to {{t|uw-ai2}}, {{t|uw-ai3}}, etc. Hope this helps. Fortek67 (talk) 15:05, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
::Ah, noted then.
::It's just that whenever I do try and confront someone with such a substantial claim (using LLM ↗s in this case) I do get a little iffy on whether my judgement is correct or not. But I mean, that AI tag alone already gives them those presumptions I guess.
::Thanks Fortek67! Also appreciate the works you've done for WP:AIC ↗. PeepeeDino (talk) 15:41, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Thank you, PeepeeDino. Let me know if you have any more questions or need help with AI removal. Fortek67 (talk) 16:39, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

Question from Akshay Ajitj (05:31, 17 June 2026)

I have created a draft article in my sandbox about Akshay Ajith with references from Cinema Express, The New Indian Express, Deccan Chronicle, Mathrubhumi and Asianet News.
Could you please review the draft and advise whether it is ready for Articles for Creation submission?
Thank you. --Akshay Ajitj (talk) 05:31, 17 June 2026 (UTC)

:Hi Akshay Ajitj. If you are writing the biography about yourself, autobiographies are strongly discouraged ↗. The draft itself also seems more like an advertisement ↗ about you, for example, having four different external links (WP:ELMIN ↗). The only that should be linked here is the official website. It's good that you've cited reliable sources, however I'm not so sure if the article would meet the notability criteria. BLPs also have much stricter rules for citations. For instance, you didn't cite a source for {{tq|Akshay Ajith was born in Chavakkad, Thrissur district, Kerala, India.}} Also, by any chance, did you use AI to create the article? The use of AI is prohibited on Wikipedia ↗. For example, refs 1 and 2 are duplicates, and the same film is shown twice under the Filmography section. Fortek67 (talk) 15:35, 17 June 2026 (UTC)

- Otmuchów–Dziewiętlice railway ↗

- Nysa–Ścinawa Mała railway ↗

- Nowy Świętów–Głuchołazy railway ↗

Could you please review the 3 articles that i made? They might be ready for the review as they contain useful information if i am not wrong. Also thank you for reviewing both of my articles. 120Hz USB type C HDMI cable cord (talk) 19:50, 18 June 2026 (UTC)

:Hi 120Hz USB type C HDMI cable cord, thank you so much for your contributions to Poland rail-related articles. I've reviewed all three articles, and made some fixes. I've also left you feedback, so see your talk page. Now, I can tell that you probably cited sources with the automatic tool. I recommend to not use this tool and instead cite the sources manually, because automatic citations usually output mistakes. For example, I had to fix all citations to Ogólnopolska Baza Kolejowa ↗ because the URL led to a 404 page (I have experienced this issue myself when I've used the automatic cite tool). I would also avoid referring to structures such as "Railway bridge in LOCATION" – also this may be a direct translation from Polish, it makes more sense to refer to the structure as "LOCATION railway bridge" (example ↗).
:P.S. since you are interested in rail transport in Poland, you may be interested in this discussion ↗. I would greatly appreciate it as I'm looking to start a task force related to the topic, so we could improve the current articles and increase coverage of the topic. Thank you. Bedford Rail Crash

Hi, about the edit you were discussing on my talk page.

On the BBC article linked throughout the page (see here, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cy8dy2pr8ymt), there are photos with both unit numbers clearly displayed. Would this be enough to count as a citation in and of itself or would a text-based version be required?

Cheers MajorScafellPike (talk) 19:28, 19 June 2026 (UTC)

:Hi MajorScafellPike. I really do appreciate your edits, however photos are considered original research ↗. You would have to wait for a reliable source ↗ to publish the train unit numbers in text, so you would have to wait – there is no rush ↗. Now this is currently being addressed in Talk:2026 Bedford train collision#Trains involved ↗, so nonetheless the edit would have been unfortunately reverted. I hope you understand. Thank you. Recent RM closure

Hello,

Would you mind giving a reason for your recent closure of the Talk:Philadelphia metropolitan area#Requested move 28 May 2026 ↗ discussion, or adding a summary on the page itself? This would be very helpful. Thank you. Red0ctober22 (talk) 21:14, 19 June 2026 (UTC)

:Red0ctober22, thanks for asking, I've added a reason to the RM ↗. I appreciate all your efforts to rename the title, but now honestly man, you likely won't get support if you don't actually prove that Greater Philadelphia is the WP:COMMONNAME ↗. Now at the same time, I'm not from Philadelphia, and Greater Philadelphia may be the common name, however, looking at what the participants said, it clearly isn't, although don't get me wrong, it's still a widely used name. Hopefully I make sense of what I just said. Fortek67 (talk) 22:49, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
::I understand. Looking back I probably should not have opened a whole new discussion. In the first discussion, I did present NGrams comparisons and results from a comparison of the 3 names that I did on Newspapers.com, but it got such low engagement that I tried a more specific discussion with a target page in mind.
::I felt that there could still be potential for the discussion to develop, but the main problem was that the discussion started to deviate toward people debating whether or not "Delaware Valley" was a suitable name, which is exactly what I didn't want to happen. RM re-closure on Talk:Flamingo Revolution ↗

Greetings. The rationale for your closure at Talk:Flamingo Revolution ↗ was just WP:COMMONNAME ↗. May you please further expand your closure rationale there after all a move review and then a relist? Thanks. George Ho (talk) 17:16, 21 June 2026 (UTC)

:No worries, I've expanded the reason. Fortek67 (talk) 21:11, 21 June 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hi Fortek67! I noticed that you recently made an edit&#32;at :Portal:Current events/2026 June 25 ↗ and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit ↗" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typo ↗s or reverting obvious vandalism ↗. Any edit that changes the <em>meaning</em> of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-minor --> signed, '''''Pat''''' ''talk'' 04:49, 26 June 2026 (UTC)

Macaca fascicularis ↗

When an RM is for A → B, you need to explain better why you moved the article to C. I count 8 participants in that RM and only 4 in favour of C, i.e., not a majority. Srnec (talk) 20:39, 30 June 2026 (UTC)

:Your closing statement is incorrect. Srnec (talk) 17:02, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
:Because that's what the majority supported. To break it down:
:* 1 supported the move in general
:* 4 supported the move to Macaca fascicularis
:* 2 opposed the move to Macaca fascicularis
:And it looks to me that the rest of the discussion was debating if Macaca fascicularis is the WP:COMMONNAME ↗... Fortek67 (talk) 19:10, 3 July 2026 (UTC)

::The nom favoured Long-tailed macaque, as did BhagyaMani and Randy Kryn. I was also explicit as preferring it to ''Macaca fascicularis''. That's four in favour of the proposal over the name chosen. 4 out of 8 participants (can't disregard the nom) is not a majority. Srnec (talk) 19:36, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
:::I get your frustration, and thanks for bringing this up. I admit these last couple weeks I've been quite stupid with closing such discussions. Now it has been closed, so I don't really know what to do from here. If you're really unhappy about the result, then you may request a move review. Sorry. Fortek67 (talk) 19:55, 3 July 2026 (UTC)

Lioness line consensus

Since you have done the other three line consensuses, and its been 7 days since a Lioness line split talk has been made, will you be able to give a consensus for this one?

:Oh yeah, sorry for not replying.<br/>At the moment I'm quite unsure, the consensus is quite split. Would rather leave it to another editor or give it a few more days before it can be closed. And at the moment I don't really want to close any more of these discussions considering that some other editors have gotten angry at me for doing something wrong. Fortek67 (talk) 19:53, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
::I'd say give it 48 more hours. If nothing changes and the majority of people say they want to split then you can split and vice versa. The main reason people were angry was because you ended it too early. So use the advice I have used and if the same people argue, you can tell them I gave themthe advice. On the review about the "China Shock 2.0"

@Fortek67 Hi there, I'm the creator of the page China Shock 2.0 ↗ that you rated some days ago. I noticed that you classified that topic as "low importance" both in China and Trade general topics... shouldn't it at least be of "medium" importance? The fact that China is invading Europe with its electric cars, tech and other things is a current question frequently discussed in politics. XD LucaLindholm (talk) 09:54, 9 July 2026 (UTC)

:Thank you for your contributions, LucaLindholm. I assessed the article using an automatic tool named Rater ↗. If you disagree with the importance you may change it. Fortek67 (talk) 14:22, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
::@Fortek67 No problem. ;)

Can you help me find more information about this station?

Hi, we chatted on my talk page a few days ago :) I was wondering if you could maybe help me find more information/sources for the station Warszawa Główna Wąskotorowa, a former narrow-gauge railway station in Warsaw. Here's a link to a stub on the Polish Wikipedia, with almost zero sources: Warszawa Główna Wąskotorowa ↗. I'm writing article on the neighbourhood it was in, and I wanted to mention it in it, but I lack any sources or any information like when it was built and demolished or who used it. Of course, I understand if you are busy, or if narrow-gauge railways are not your expertise, but I wanted to try anyway :) Cheers, sincerely, Artemis Andromeda (talk) 00:57, 10 July 2026 (UTC)

:Wow, this one is strange, probably the least documented former railway station I've ever seen. I've seen Lower Silesian railway stations in the middle of nowhere documented better than this!
:Baza Kolejowa ↗ says that the station (I'll refer to it as WGW) opened in 1909 and closed sometime in 1920. This is according to the, page on the railway line, it also says WGW lied on the Warszawa Mokotów–Warszawa Główna Wąskotorowa railway ↗. Which means that WGW was a terminus ↗, and the only other station on the line was Warszawa Mokotów ↗. It looks like the line served some military airport ↗? Sidings branched off to it, but I assume you know something about the airport. Anyways, there's a whole gallery of pictures on the line ↗, with captions, maybe you'll recognise some of the them. And I'm still rather sceptical about the line's opening or closure, this picture ↗ was taken in 1901 "shortly after the line was built". This undated newspaper ↗ documents the lines closure and dismantle, but we don't know when that happened (Baza Kolejowa dates the newspaper "before 1935"). At least we know the line was ''actually'' dismantled, not stolen by people or destroyed during the war.
:What I definitely know and can confirm is that this station was very short-lived. And lied somewhere near or probably adjacent to Warszawa Główna ↗, hence the name, serving as a small station. You see this with other stations, e.g. Bogatynia Wąskotorowa ↗ (near Bogatynia ↗). Also, such narrow-gauge stations are more comparable to modern tram stops, this one also ran on roads, probably used single-carriage railcars. Narrow-gauge lines are just usually heavier, and they could carry freight ↗. The gauge was also 1000m wide if that is any useful information. Hope this helps. Fortek67 (talk) 15:20, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
::Hi, thank you very much for writing back. Yeah, same for me, I never saw station this undocumented. It's not even listed on atlaskolejowy.net ↗ and it seems to list even the minor glorified tram stops of narrow-guague railways. It had me even wondering if that station even existed. About the airport, yes, that's the Mokotów Aerodrome, it was actually mostly a civilian airport, but it also housed an airforce base. I looked around a bit, and I was able to find another article on Polish Wikipedia mention it, thought not by name. The article for Wilanów Railway ↗, says "W 1894 roku zbudowano odcinek między Rogatką Belwederską a Mokotowską (Plac Unii Lubelskiej, wówczas Keksholmski), a w 1900 roku połączono go dalej z dworcem towarowym Kolei Warszawsko-Wiedeńskiej dla uruchomienia na kolei ruchu towarowego". We can probably assume it's talking about WGW. Honestly, this launches me into another search on what was this cargo station. Does it just mean the cargo area at Vienna Station or something near it? Anyway, yeah, the line definitely extended there. It also establishes it was created in 1900. Warszawa Mokotów was closed down in 1935 and moved to a different location futher south, eventually being permanently closed down in 1938, which could also suggest that WGW was also closed arouns then, though, I don't wanna claim it for certain. Also, I wanted to ask you, do you think you would have any books or know where to look, to find any proper sources to quote in the article, and maybe find sold dares or even the adress? It's ofcourse completely find if you don't, or don't wanna, just asking just in case:) Artemis Andromeda (talk) 02:36, 11 July 2026 (UTC)

Roger Hedden

Thanks for your comments and prompting about the new page for Roger Hedden ↗. I've added a couple of references. It's a curious situation: his films are extremely well known (with top-talent actors) and well covered, including here on WP, however personal information about him is scarce. All the more important, in my view, to create a page here to collect information on him in one place. Saparagus (talk) 20:55, 10 July 2026 (UTC)

:You'll still have to add more sources, especially that the career section has no sources. Maybe try going on sites that mention those films and citing them if they confirm he had something to do with said film (like a director, idk myself). Otherwise you fail to prove that Hedden meet the notability ↗ criteria. And sadly, you can't site those current two sources per WP:IMDB ↗ and WP:WORDPRESS ↗ – as harsh as I may sound they are unreliable sources ↗. Fortek67 (talk) 21:31, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
