Welcome to Wikipedia ↗, Curiosidadetp1! I'm I dream of horses, and I've been assigned as your '''mentor'''. Around 10% of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor randomly taken from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.
You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits ↗. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.
If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from :es:Premios Quiero ↗ to :Premios Quiero ↗. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing ↗ '''requires that you provide attribution''' to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an '''edit summary ↗''' on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking ↗ it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here ↗. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution '''must be given retroactively ↗''', for example:

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit ↗; see Repairing insufficient attribution ↗.
It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{tl|translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively ↗, even if it was a long time ago. :Hi, sorry, it wasn’t my intention to take credit for myself. I’ve been adding a note saying that it was translated in some of the articles I’m working on, but in others I ended up forgetting. I’ll be more careful. Can I continue translating from now on by adding credits like this: “This article contains content translated from the Wikipedia article at pt:Manu Bahtidão ↗; see its history for attribution.” Or is it better to create articles that don’t exist yet without translating? Curiosidadetp1 (talk) 04:05, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
::Hi, Curiosidadetp1. Yes, that edit summary is fine. If you like, you can also add the {{tl|translated page}} template to the talkpage, that bit is optional. And you're free to translate whatever articles you like! That being said, you should be careful not to introduce content issues that may be present in the other language's article. For example, on the article ''Vidas Paralelas ↗'', the plot summary (apart from being inaccurate) was largely closely paraphrased ↗ from the source/the show's marketing copy. The TV show itself hasn't been released yet, so it's probably better to leave the plot summary out for now, given that, well, nobody knows the plot yet! Hi there! A belated happy new year to you! First let me say, wow! We now have over 150 members!! We've grown a lot since the Latin music project became its own WikiProject 14 years ago!! Anyways, I wanted to bring your attention to two things: 1) We have collaborated with WikiProject Latino and Hispanic heritage ↗ to have our own Discord server! It can be found here! ↗ We have our own dedicated music channel on the Latinos Discord server. 2), Women in Latin music ↗ is now open as its own taskforce!! 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Priscila Buiar ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template.
