Anarchism

right|frameless|100px ↗ Hi Daddynnoob,

I saw your work ↗ on articles related to anarchism and wanted to say hello, as I work in the topic area too. If you haven't already, you might want to '''{{watch|Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anarchism}}''' our noticeboard for Wikipedia's coverage of anarchism ↗, which is a great place to ask questions, collaborate, discuss style/structure precedent, and stay informed about content related to anarchism. Take a look for yourself!

We also have a live cleanup drive ↗, if you'd like to participate, and a '''mailing list ↗''' if you'd like to be notified of upcoming edit drives.

Feel free to say hi on my talk page and let me know if these links were helpful (or at least interesting). Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''the Arab–Israeli conflict ↗''', a topic designated as '''contentious ↗'''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days ↗, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics ''procedures'' you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic here ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template.
}}⇒SWATJester ↗ Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 17:59, 23 October 2024 (UTC)

Overlinking

Hi Daddynnoob

Thanks for your contribution to the article on Roti John ↗.
Please be aware that adding links to WP articles on common objects and generally understood terms is unnecessary and can reduce the readability of articles.
Guidelines on when to add links are here: WP:CONTEXT ↗.

:I see that the article was marked as having excessive citations, but that doesn't mean you should remove all citations; it still needs some. There might even be room to expand the article from those citations. TornadoLGS (talk) 04:36, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
::@TornadoLGS Alright, I'll reduce some of the citations. Thanks for your advice. Daddynnoob (talk) 04:37, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
:::I glanced at them and saw one of them mentioned a fire in one of the buildings, which might be worth mentioning in the article. It's late where I am now, but I might take a look tomorrow at whether it can be expanded from the references there. TornadoLGS (talk) 04:39, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
::::@TornadoLGS I see. I think the citations should be specifically about the avenue itself. Daddynnoob (talk) 04:41, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Boud. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that in one of your recent contributions ↗ to :2025–2026 Iranian protests ↗, you cited a link to a source that may not be reliable ↗. Sources considered unreliable should generally not be used to support statements. Information from an unreliable source can be challenged by other editors and removed. Reliable sources are generally those with a reputation for fact-checking and editorial oversight. Self-published material ↗, user-generated content ↗, and certain other outlets such as blogs, wikis, personal websites, and websites or publications with a poor reputation for fact-checking may not meet these standards. If you are unsure about which sources are appropriate, there is a list of sources ↗ that are considered generally reliable. Additionally, some WikiProjects have their own lists ↗ of sources that are considered reliable for that particular subtopic. If you are still unsure about a source's reliability, you can ask at the reliable sources noticeboard ↗. {{diff|2025–2026 Iranian protests|prev|1331682392|This was your insertion of}} the unreliable source WP:NYPOST ↗. Boud (talk) 16:53, 7 January 2026 (UTC)

: {{Reply to|Daddynnoob}} I'm going to echo what several other experienced editors have now told you. Please do type a brief edit summary with most every edit. It helps other editors follow what you are changing and why. Otherwise there's more head scratching, and you'll find yourself reverted more often. There is a setting in Preferences that will remind you every time that you tap "Save page" or "Publish changes" without having provided a summary. I find that most useful for keeping me in the habit. — <kbd>voidxor</kbd> 21:25, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
