Question from Rion Diaries Rd (09:57, 1 July 2026)
Hello i need help publishing and writing a blog about someone --Rion Diaries Rd (talk) 09:57, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
:Hello, @Rion Diaries Rd. I am assuming that you mean that you want to write and publish an ''article ↗'' about someone, as Wikipedia is not a blog ↗.
:If you would like to make an article about someone, please make sure that there are enough reliable sources ↗ about them to establish verifiability ↗. If the person you are writing about is living, please make sure to read Wikipedia's policy on the biographies of living people ↗. I would also recommend reading Wikipedia's help page on writing your first article ↗.
dot.p ↗y ↗
19:20, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
Question from Mamahammer (08:53, 2 July 2026)
Hello Mentor,
How can I use AI to help me with my editing journey?
thank you --Mamahammer (talk) 08:53, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
:Hello @Mamahammer. Quoting from Wikipedia:Editing policy#Artificial intelligence additions ↗, {{tq|The use of AI writing tools ↗ such as large language models ↗ for the creation or rewriting of articles ↗, or their usage to generate images ↗, sources ↗ or comments ↗, save for a few exceptions, is generally prohibited as outlined by various policies and guidelines ↗.}} This means that, most of the time, you can not use AI to help you with your editing journey.
dot.p ↗y ↗
19:25, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
Question from JasperMyCatShark on Martin Sladek ↗ (19:42, 2 July 2026)
Hi! So, I kept trying to search up Martin Sladek's tricks he invented but nothing except the Wikipedia page came up, what should I do? This is supposed to be an easy newcomer suggestion so I'm kinda confused lol --JasperMyCatShark (talk) 19:42, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
:Hello, @JasperMyCatShark. If you are looking for tricks preformed by Martin Sladek ↗, if you're looking it up on Wikipedia's search ↗, then you may want to look it up elsewhere, like Google (link ↗) or your preferred search engine, as Wikipedia's search does not act like a traditional search engine.
dot.p ↗y ↗
19:32, 9 July 2026 (UTC)

Question from Porcupine25 (12:53, 7 July 2026)
Hello. I've just made my first edit. I have a question for you: when is it best to cite sources in a <ref> footnote, versus when is it best to link words in the entry directly to the source URL instead? For now, I've just used footnotes. Thank you! --Porcupine25 (talk) 12:53, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
Question from Kotnae (21:35, 7 July 2026)

Question from Multicusp (19:43, 8 July 2026)
Hello Mentor,
I am noticing complex/long sentences on this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Low-field_magnetic_resonance_imaging
I am thinking of changing something like ,"Traditional clinical MRI systems usually operate at a range of 1.5 to 3 T or higher, since the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), a key metric of image quality, is roughly proportional to magnetic field strength." To something more like ,"Traditional clinical MRI systems usually operate at a range of 1.5 to 3 T or higher. This is because a key metric of image quality, the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), is roughly proportional to magnetic field strength."
The goal is to increase readability while maintaining the intended meaning. Is this in the realm of copyediting? If not what level of experience would be ideal to have to perform tasks like this?
Thank you,
Multicusp. --Multicusp (talk) 19:43, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
