Proto-Salish language ↗

Hi Ella, I noticed you had Proto-Salish on your list of pages to make while I was working on this article. It's been on my list for a while too; I created it and started it, but I'm not the most experienced with writing about proto-languages. Besides what I wrote, there's the Further reading section that you may find useful for sources to expand the article (beyond whatever else you find in your research). Inuit

I'm not sure about other Indigenous peoples but Inuit means "the people". So you shouldn't use "Inuit people". That's according to the Translation Bureau ↗ of the Canadian Government. :Thanks for the notice. It is true that the ethnonym for many Indigenous peoples translates literally to "the people", so saying "___ people" is a bit like saying "chai tea ↗".
