I've reverted your edits to the page of Chevalier d'Éon ↗ as I found that the language you used might not been completely neutral (see, WP:NPOV ↗) and they might not have been in the most encyclopedic tone (WP:TONE ↗). I also removed your use of "he/him" pronouns when referring to d'Éon. Due to the lack of consensus regarding which pronouns to use for d'Éon on d'Éon's talk page, the general rule is simply to use no pronouns at all, simply referring to d'Éon by their name. See this discussion as to why this is the case ↗.

:Also, as the Chevalier d'Éon was French, I prefer to use the pronouns used in France to describe him. The consensus - in France - has been to categorise him as a man, as he was a man (he).
