Merging Baldwin and Baldwin in France pages

Hello, Go4thProsper, Glad to see that you’re a Hoosier. I am a former Buckeye from right on the Indiana border. I have a question for you about the proposed merger of ‘Baldwin’ and ‘Baldwin in France’. Don’t you think the Baldwin in France article (which has more than 1800 words) would overload the ‘Baldwin’ article, which is massive at over 11,000 words? Thus, the combined article would be around 12,500 words. This puts it nearly in the zone where WP guidance on Article Length ( see WP:LENGTH ↗) states that such an article ‘almost certainly should be divided or trimmed’. The current ‘Baldwin’ article is already in the zone, described in WP:LENGTH ↗, as ‘probably should be divided or trimmed’. That is the reason I wrote a separate article to begin with. Would you be so kind as to retract your suggestion? Dr Dobeaucoup (talk) 08:51, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
: Big win for us in women’s bball last night! To your question, yes that is a very real concern; however “merge” in my mind does not mean every word must remain. I actually think the Baldwin bio article is much too long already and should itself be trimmed. But that’s no reason not to merge. Baldwin is an important figure for sure, but not so much that his 62 years merit multiple articles, each of which are arguably much too long. Other editors are encouraged to weigh in and disagree, but in my opinion the articles should be merged and the overall product cut back in word count. Updates to Jeffrey Leiden

Hi Go4thProsper. Not too long ago you implemented an edit request I posted on behalf of Jeffrey Leiden ↗ of Vertex Pharmaceuticals ↗. I am hoping you would like to look over my most recent edit request found here: Talk:Jeffrey_Leiden#Updates ↗. The edits are simple and straightforward. I would really appreciate it if you did. Thanks again for your help with this and your past help.JohnDatVertex (talk) 15:16, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
:Thank you for this notice and I will take a look, although I can’t guarantee to make the edits. Go4thProsper (talk) 15:22, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
::Hi Go4thProsper. This is a gentle reminder if it's convenient for you to take a look at my edit request as I mentioned above. I would be really appreciative if you could get to it before too long. Thanks again, JohnDatVertex (talk) 17:09, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
Hi again. Thanks for implementing the last of the four bullet points in my edit request ↗. Are you planning to implement the other three bullet points? It would be great if you could, but if you don’t have time, or don’t want to, please let me know. Thanks again, JohnDatVertex (talk) 16:01, 25 June 2024 (UTC)

:I do not plan to make the other edits, but do not oppose if other editors make them. Go4thProsper (talk) 01:11, 26 June 2024 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :John M. Richardson (admiral) ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history ↗ of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk ↗ for assistance.
Thank you.<!-- User:Zackmann08/uw/Unknown-params-warning --> '''<span style="color:#00d5ff">Zack</span><span style="color:#007F94">mann</span>''' (<sup>Talk to me ↗</sup>/<sub><span style="color:orange">What I been doing</span> ↗</sub>) 02:56, 30 January 2026 (UTC)

25px ↗ Your edits are becoming disruptive. You have been warned multiple times about the need to use preview ↗ to check your edits, yet you continue to introduce {{cl|unknown parameters|unknown parameters}} into articles. In a recent edit you once again did this. If you continue your disruptive editing ↗, you may find yourself blocked from editing. Please take the time to review your edits moving forward. <!-- User:Zackmann08/uw/Thumb-Warning --> '''<span style="color:#00d5ff">Zack</span><span style="color:#007F94">mann</span>''' (Talk to me ↗/<span style="color:orange">What I been doing</span> ↗) 02:57, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
