Hi. am not a native English speaker . i worked on creating my arts profile and i have included verifiable sources some of them big human rights organisations. as a non English speaker i did put my writings on grok just to correct gramma and maintain everything the same. however my page is being refused to launch . how do i solve this? SilvanosMudzvova2025 (talk) 14:42, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
:@SilvanosMudzvova2025: Hi there! I see you resubmitted Draft:Silvanos Mudzvova ↗ for review. When writing about yourself, you must put aside everything you know about yourself and focus simply on gathering independent published reliable sources and summarizing what they have written. There seems to be a lot of unsourced information in your draft, so I added some maintenance tags for you. I've declined your submission because of the volume of unsourced information. You may resubmit your draft when you have provided adequate sources. Thanks and happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 16:41, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
::i have worked on your recommendations thank you. i ended up removing some of work especially the one done before the internet. SilvanosMudzvova2025 (talk) 18:08, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
:::@SilvanosMudzvova2025: I see you've made a big improvement in the draft. I restored the draft templates at the top of the page - please do not delete them again. Note that sources do not have to be online - you may use books and newspapers as well. Also note that Pindula and LinkedIn will not help demonstrate notability. GoingBatty (talk) 21:26, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
::::thanks for the advice i have removed Pindula and Linkedln as sources as well SilvanosMudzvova2025 (talk) 22:59, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
Question from AnonLionCavalier83 (21:26, 26 June 2026)
:''Note: AnonLionCavalier83's mentor Alpha3031 is away.''
Hello,
why is it when I write my signature in my talk page, the "talk" part is written in bold and the link doesn't work.
See this.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:AnonLionCavalier83#Test
Thanks,
AnonLionCavalier83 --~ AnonLionCavalier83 (talk) 21:26, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
:@AnonLionCavalier83: The default signature on my user talk page, per WP:SIGNATURE ↗, is like mine is on my talk page: <code><nowiki>(talk)</nowiki></code>
:However, if you look at the code in your user talk page, the talk part is <code><nowiki>(talk)</nowiki></code>, without the <code><nowiki>#top</nowiki></code> portion. This means that your signature is linking back to the same page, which causes the text to be bold instead of a link.
:I don't know why it's doing this. Have you set up a custom signature? How are you signing your posts? GoingBatty (talk) 00:11, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
::I've fixed it. Thank you so much. I had to add the #top portion.
::Also, yes, I've added a custom signature. However sometimes I forget it resulting in the unpleasant <code><nowiki>AnonLionCavalier83 -~ AnonLionCavalier83 (talk)</nowiki></code>.
::Thanks, ~ AnonLionCavalier83 (talk) 06:18, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
Question from Amk1586 (03:51, 29 June 2026)
Hi,
I am a beginner here. So tell me, what to do here?
Guide me step by step. It will help me contribute well and great. --Amk1586 (talk) 03:51, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
:@Amk1586: Hi there! I suggest reviewing Help:Introduction ↗ to learn how to edit. Remember that any information you add to an article needs to be accompanied by a published reliable source. Each article also has a talk page where you can converse with other editors on how to improve an article. Happy editing1 GoingBatty (talk) 03:59, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
Hello
Thank you for your edit on Freemasonry in Cuba ↗.
You will notice at the top of the page that the In Use template is still there. Your edit has prevented one of my edits from being published. Please do not edit the page until the In Use template is removed. Thank you for understanding. Guylaen (talk) 08:27, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
:@Guylaen: Apologies for not noticing the in use template and for any extra time this caused you. GoingBatty (talk) 12:45, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
::No problem. Finished for now. Please have at it. Going on a wikibreak. Guylaen (talk) 14:31, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
Draft:International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics
Hello GoingBatty,
Thank you for your helpful comments in my first wikipedia submission February.
I've addressed the comments and made numerous changes to reduce the perception of self promotion, bare references, etc to improve the article and feel ready (but scared) to resubmit. Prior to doing so, I am hoping that I could impose on you to take a look at it again and let me know if there is still work to be done and point me in the right direction prior to my resubmission.
Your past feedback was helpful to me and I really appreciated it.
I am looking for acceptance of the article and for the messages to be removed following my edits.
TammarieSheamius TammarieSheamus (talk) 16:43, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
:@TammarieSheamus: Hi there! I made some more edits to Draft:International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics ↗ for you. I think the "Governance structure" section needs a lot of reorganization and references before resubmission. Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 02:19, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
::Thank you for the feedback. Do you think it would be okay if I just shortened the Governance Structure section to 3 general sentences with references and added all the details later when I can get it better organized and referenced? I don't want to run out of time and am hoping it can be accepted. I noticed other organizations that were already accepted had a list of their meetings and past presidents. Does this strengthen the article? TammarieSheamus (talk) 12:27, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
:::@TammarieSheamus: I think removing the list of presidents, congresses, and everything from the "Governance structure" section that is not related to the structure of the governance is a step in the right direction. Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 12:58, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
Question from Ebrahim riazi (19:10, 1 July 2026)
I have writed an article on Persian language can you check it and lead me how should I improve it? --Ebrahim riazi (talk) 19:10, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
:@Ebrahim riazi: Hi there! Looking at your contributions ↗, I only see your post here. Please provide a link to the article you wrote if you would like me to check it. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 23:05, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
::how can I a provide a link to my article Ebrahim riazi (talk) 02:53, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
:::@Ebrahim riazi - You write the name of the article and put double brackets around it. For example, <code><nowiki>Persian language ↗</nowiki></code> makes a link to the article Persian language ↗. GoingBatty (talk) 02:57, 2 July 2026 (UTC)

:::::@Ebrahim riazi: The English Wikipedia doesn't have an article with that name, which is why the link is red. What is the URL of the page you created? Can you still access it yourself? GoingBatty (talk) 13:54, 2 July 2026 (UTC)

Question from Bungle491 (14:01, 3 July 2026)
I submitted this draft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Mo.co, and it was rejected for AI-generation. The only problem is that I didn't use AI a single time :sob: (did not know my writing was so reminiscent of robots). What parts sound AI? How should I change them? --Bungle491 (talk) 14:01, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
:@Bungle491: Hi there! I suggest you start a conversation on Draft talk:Mo.co ↗ and invite the editor who declined the draft, User:JavaHurricane, to give you more details on why they think the draft appears to contain text generated by a LLM. Meanwhile, I'll make some tweaks to the draft layout for you. Good luck, and happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 22:44, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
::I will do that! Thank you! Bungle491 (talk) 23:37, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
Question from HowLeeMac (22:00, 3 July 2026)
I'm trying to get back to the editing page so I submit the page I just created. I can't seem to log in via the normal route. What's up??? --HowLeeMac (talk) 22:00, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
:@HowLeeMac: Hi there! It looks like you were logged in when you asked this question, and your only other edit was creating User:HowLeeMac/sandbox. Please provide more details about the exact issue you're experiencing, and I'll try to assist you. Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 22:50, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
::I did not understand the criticism term about multiple comments concerning “invoked” something. Is this elitist code? HowLeeMac (talk) 21:57, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
:::@HowLeeMac: Hi again! Could you please be more specific as to where you see such comments and the exact wording of the comments? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 02:30, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
Question from AnonLionCavalier83 (05:48, 4 July 2026)
:''Note: AnonLionCavalier83's mentor Alpha3031 is away.''
Greetings!
Fascism in my original country ↗ is quite popular and a lot of people support it. What do I do if I encounter a pretty old comment on a talk that disgustingly downplays and denies crime committed by a certain group?
On one hand, it's very old and I'm afraid removing it will revive the user who made it.
On the other hand, I'm disgusted that a such a comment still exist on a talk page that can be seen by anyone.
What do I do?
Thanks, ~ AnonLionCavalier83 (talk) 05:48, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
:@AnonLionCavalier83: Hi there! Broadly speaking, there are three options: ignore it, archive it (to a page that would get less visibility but still visible by anyone), or delete it. If you'd like my opinion, please provide a link to the page and details about which comment you're concerned about. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 16:29, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
A kitten for you!

Thank you for helping me better edit, despite me being an absolute newbie. I figured a kitten would be appropriate.

Question from Bungle491 (07:10, 4 July 2026)
Hi!
I've written another article (I have nothing better to do and it's kinda fun). Could you take a look at the "Winners" table and help with formatting? I want to merge the two Division A and Division B labels into one Division A and one Division B label. I also want to split the individual round winners into sub-rows like
algebra
winner
2025 geometry
winner
number theory
winner
2024 etc.
Do you know if this is possible? If it is, how do I do it?
Thank you so much for all your help and your time!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Princeton_University_Mathematics_Competion --Bungle491 (talk) 07:10, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
:@Bungle491: Hi there! I updated the table per your request. This is easy to do when you click the "Edit" button and edit using the VisualEditor ↗ - see Help:Tables and VisualEditor ↗. However, this layout isn't ideal, as it might lead to people thinking that Liam Reddy is part of the Lehigh Valley Fire team, Nathan Lu is part of the Mad Hatter team, etc. I wish you luck in finding additional independent published reliable sources for your draft. Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 16:38, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
::I've changed the layout to ameliorate the confusion. Thank you so much for your help! Bungle491 (talk) 17:48, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
You're invited to the Mentorship noticeboard
Hi, GoingBatty. You are cordially invited to the brand new Wikipedia:Mentorship noticeboard ↗. I get the impression sometimes that we mentors are each toiling in our own cubbyhole or hamster wheel, quietly answering mentee questions with little to no interaction with other mentors. I think we have a lot to share and learn from each other, and I know it will make me feel better just having the opportunity to interact with you and other mentors there, and I hope it will for you, too. Look forward to hearing your feedback. Please take the {{slink|WP:MNB|Survey|nopage=yes}} when you get there! Mathglot (talk) 00:37, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
can you go over this article?
hello, can you take a look at the article Community organizing ↗?
(and maybe tidy it up?) RJJ4y7 (talk) 18:32, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
:@RJJ4y7: Hi there! I made some tweaks to the article for you, and tagged it as needing help with the external links.
:On the article talk page, I added {{para|attention|yes}} to the WikiProject banners that support it in the hopes it will get interested editors to assist.
:For assistance with the examples and perspectives, I suggest asking for help at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Sociology ↗ or the other WikiProject talk pages.
:For assistance with the tone, I suggest asking for help at Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Requests ↗.
:However, to avoid edit conflicts, don't request help at both places at the same time.
:Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 03:28, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
Question from AnonLionCavalier83 (17:35, 8 July 2026)
:''Note: AnonLionCavalier83's mentor Alpha3031 is away.''
How do I add "archive 2" to my talk page here? My messages, if archived, go to archive 1.
Thanks. ~ AnonLionCavalier83 (talk) 17:35, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
:@AnonLionCavalier83: Hi there! In the {{tlx|User:MiszaBot/config}} template, you could either:
:* change {{para|maxarchivesize|400K}} to a lower number, which will trigger the creation of the next archive page sooner, or
:* change {{para|archive|User talk:AnonLionCavalier83/Archive %(counter)d}} to {{para|archive|User talk:AnonLionCavalier83/Archive_2}} and manually create archive pages (as I do every year).
