25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, Jayant KA$HYAP. We welcome ↗ your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about ↗ on the page :Jayant Kashyap ↗, you may have a conflict of interest ↗ (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the '''conflict of interest guideline ↗''' and '''FAQ for article subjects ↗''' for more information. We ask that you:
- '''avoid editing or creating''' articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- '''propose changes''' on the talk pages ↗ of affected articles (you can use the {{tl|edit COI}} template), including links or details of reliable sources ↗ that support your suggestions;
- '''disclose''' your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see {{Section link|Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI}});
- '''avoid linking''' to your organization's website in other articles (see {{Section link|Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming}});
- '''do your best''' to comply with Wikipedia's content policies ↗.
In addition, you are '''required''' by the Wikimedia Foundation ↗'s terms of use ↗ to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. :Not advertising. I stated my reasons clearly: I don't think enough Indian writers are given space internationally, and my understanding is that since a Wikipedia page (with the right citations) increases someone's credibility, and since they've already won awards in their area of expertise, they should be allowed to have a page here. I do apologise if I wasn't clearer before. Jayant KA$HYAP (talk) 22:52, 10 January 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Jayant Kashyap ↗
48px|left|alt=|link= ↗
{{Quote box|quote=<p>If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article ↗.</p><p>You may want to consider using the Article Wizard ↗ to help you create articles.</p>|width=20%|align=right}}
A tag has been placed on :Jayant Kashyap ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate ↗ how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable ↗.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=Jayant+Kashyap|deleting administrator}}. <!-- Template:Db-notability-notice --> Protoeus (talk) 21:17, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
Welcome!
Hello, Jayant KA$HYAP, and '''welcome to Wikipedia'''! Thank you for your contributions ↗.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself ↗. Writing about yourself is a common mistake ↗ made by new Wikipedians ↗.
As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person ↗ to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list ↗ and they will copy it to your user page.
If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian ↗! Please sign ↗ your messages on talk page ↗s using four tilde ↗s (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Deletion discussion about Jayant Kashyap ↗
Hello Jayant KA$HYAP, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Jayant Kashyap ↗, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jayant Kashyap ↗.
Deletion discussions ↗ usually run for seven days and are ''not'' votes. Our guide ↗ about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability ↗, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Frost<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. And don't forget to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> . Thanks!

Conflict of interest?
{{ping|Jayant KA$HYAP}} I notice that you have edited the article Jayant Kashyap ↗, and also commented on the deletion discussion about that article.
To address concerns about a conflict of interest ↗, please state explicitly whether you are Jayant Kashyap. If you are not, then please state explicitly what relationship you have to him.Gronk Oz (talk) 09:06, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
:I'm not Jayant Kashyap. The only relationship I have with him is an admiration born out of our matching name — this has led me to look further in his work, and I've found a library of resources dating as far back as 2017. However, I've only been adding details which I can cite well, and from credible sources. Thank you!

Recent edit reversion
link=|alt=Control copyright icon|30x30px ↗ Your additions in this edit here ↗, have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted ↗ content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain ↗ or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible ↗ copyright license. (''To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗''.)
To see the possible source of the copyrighted text, look in the edit summary which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. There should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.
While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright ↗ and plagiarism ↗ issues. Here are the key points:
- '''Limited quotation:''' You may only copy or translate a ''small'' portion of a source. Any direct quotations ↗ must be enclosed in double quotation marks ↗ (") and properly cited using an inline citation ↗, set off using the blockquote template. More information is available on the non-free content page ↗. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners ↗.
- '''Paraphrasing:''' Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information ''in your own words''. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues ↗ and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing ↗. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources ↗ as appropriate.
- '''Image use guidelines:''' In most scenarios, only freely licensed ↗ or public domain ↗ images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons ↗. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria ↗; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide ↗ may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- '''Copyrighted material donation:''' If ''you'' hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you ''may'' be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗.
- '''Copying and translation within Wikipedia:''' Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements ↗.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked ↗ from editing.
<nowiki>I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. ~~~~</nowiki> <span style="color:#000E2F;padding:0 4px;font-family: Copperplate Gothic Light">S Philbrick</span><span style=";padding:0 4px;color:# 000;font-family: Copperplate Gothic Light">(Talk)</span> 13:04, 17 January 2025 (UTC)

Hello, GreenBlast4. This message concerns the Articles for Creation ↗ submission or draft ↗ page you started, "Jayant Kashyap ↗".
Drafts that go unedited for six months are eligible for deletion, in accordance with our draftspace policy ↗, and this one has been nominated for deletion. If your submission has already been deleted by the time you read this, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions '''here''' ↗. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the draft so you can continue to work on it.

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Anna Salman ↗

A tag has been placed on :Anna Salman ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion ↗, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anna Salman ↗. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=Anna+Salman|deleting administrator}}, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here ↗. <!-- Template:Db-repost-notice --><!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> Wikishovel (talk) 11:20, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Infosys ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Orphaned non-free image File:The poetry business logo.jpg
35px|text-top|left|⚠|link= ↗ Thanks for uploading ''':File:The poetry business logo.jpg ↗'''. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use ↗. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media ↗).
Note that any non-free images not used in any '''articles''' will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Imogen Wade.jpg
64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading ''':File:Imogen Wade.jpg ↗'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline ↗ is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag ↗; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. Replaceable non-free use File:Isabel Galleymore, poet.webp
32px|left ↗
Thanks for uploading ''':File:Isabel Galleymore, poet.webp ↗'''. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use ↗. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion ↗. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have ''no free equivalent''; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
# Go to the file description page ↗ and add the text {{Tlx|Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} '''below''' the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <code><your reason></code> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
# On the file's talk page ↗, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license ↗, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on <span class="plainlinks">[{{fullurl:Special:Contributions|target=GreenBlast4&namespace=6}} this link]</span>. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy ↗. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page ↗.
