:Hey there. What I did was make a post over to the Australian wikiproject noticeboard (WP:AUSTRALIA ↗ is the group name, while the specific topic I posted here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Australian_history#Richmond_River_Massacres_and_Richmond_River_massacre ↗) to try and get info about the topic since I am no expert on what is right and wrong. But if you are right then what we tend to do is make redirects ↗ if the topics are the same in the case that a reader might accidentally type in Richmond River Massacre but wanted Richmond River Massacres and hence this will lead them to the correct place. I hope that makes sense hehe (sorry if it might seem a bit full on since you are very new to editing of Wikipedia).Calaka (talk) 11:22, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
I've been editing that topic for years...I am not new Calaka.
Hamilton36 (talk) 16:07, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
:Note that I am not capable of seeing what your other user names are so I was unaware that you have been editing that topic under an IP or different user name, hence why I made the assumption of you being new. :)Calaka (talk) 02:34, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

25px ↗ Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give {{#if:|: ↗|a page}} a different title by copying its content and pasting it into {{#if:|: ↗|another page with a different name}}. This is known as a "cut and paste ↗ move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history ↗, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be ''moved'' to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab ↗ at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect ↗ from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves ↗ to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen ↗. {{#if:|{{{2}}}|Thank you.}} <!-- Template:uw-c&pmove--> Nick-D (talk) 09:00, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
Wulambiny, Turkey in Ngarakwal Language. Wollumbin is the mountains to the north of Mt Warning
Hi Hamilton36, Here is the 1977 NSW NPWS Sites of Significance study by Anthropologist Howard Creamer and the Keeper of Lore Elder Millie Boyd, describing the real name for Mt Warning (Wulambiny Momoli) and its Aboriginal significance (Turkey Nest). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxWFuQAIbcE Wollumbin is the Fighting Chief, Place of Death and Dying, North of Mt Warning. Professor Margaret Sharpes Yugambeh Dictionary confirms Wulambiny as the name for Mt Warning.
Roland Robinson the Nearest the White Man Gets covers Nguthungulli and Yar-birrain quite well.
Wollumbinmountain (talk) 14:34, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Ngarakwal, Githabul, Gallibul etc not Bundjalung.
Another common misconception is the Bandjalangic language chain was a nation.
The 2007 Githabul Federal Native Title Determination which cut the Bundjalung Nation apart can be viewed here. http://www.nntt.gov.au/Publications-And-Research/Publications/Documents/Multimedia%20and%20determination%20brochures/Determination%20brochure%20Githabul%20people%20November%202007.pdf
Bandjalang Loreman and Elder Dick Donnelly refers to Baryulgil not being Bandjalang. <small><span class="autosigned">—Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by Wollumbinmountain (talk • contribs ↗) 14:45, 10 October 2009 (UTC)</span></small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Have many dictionaries and wordlists from the region. Here is a research tip, go into google books then search as a Google search does not cover Google books.
You will find much more info that way. The linguistic Professors describe some of the tragedies that have occurred in the popularised falsehoods.
Like the nothing tribe (Yugambeh means nothing), Ngandowal and Minjungbal (What and who?)being used to describe Peoples. <small><span class="autosigned">—Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by Wollumbinmountain (talk • contribs ↗) 15:06, 10 October 2009 (UTC)</span></small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Thank you for uploading :File:Razorback Lookout Goanna Headland.JPG ↗. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright ↗ very seriously. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link ↗.

Thank you for uploading this media,
However, it would be nice if you could give some kind of indication as to what license the media is under. That way other people can be confident in making use of it for many varied purposes :)
Adding license information also helps prevent media you've put effort into creating from being deleted :)
You may wish to read Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags#For_image_creators ↗ which will assist you :)

Red hair - Aussie stuff
That's interesting info you're adding to the article, but Wikipedia needs references, especially when the material is a bit "rough", as yours is. I'm going to revert it again. I'm sure your addition is well intentioned, but do have have any reliable sources that say that these words are in use?
Also, you seem to want to place it in the middle of a part of the article that's about the UK situation. When you do find sources and add it again, please find a better spot. HiLo48 (talk) 09:18, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
What you've cited says nothing about this being Australian. It also appears to be a list of one person's personal experiences, so not a reliable source on use of these terms. There is equally nothing to say that these names are common place, or any explanation why the ones you wish to add are any more notable than the dozens of others in the same source. The purpose of the article is to describe what's already noteworthy, not to list imaginative new ways of insulting people.
If you can, please supply cites that cover these deficiencies. --<span style="color:purple;">Escape Orbit</span> (Talk) ↗ 15:37, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Vincent Lingiari.jpg
64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thanks for uploading or contributing to ''':File:Vincent Lingiari.jpg ↗'''. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria ↗, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page ↗, and edit it to include a non-free rationale ↗.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions ↗" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion ↗ and ask for a chance to fix the problem.<!-- Template:You can request undeletion --> If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page ↗. Disambiguation link notification for February 19
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Taylor Matheny (Fitness Model and IFBB Bikini Pro) ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fitness model ↗ (check to confirm ↗ | fix with Dab solver ↗). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. <small>Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.</small>

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Taylor Matheny (Fitness Model and IFBB Bikini Pro) ↗

{{Quote box|quote=<p>If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article ↗.</p><p>You may want to consider using the Article Wizard ↗ to help you create articles.</p>|width=20%|align=right}}
A tag has been placed on :Taylor Matheny (Fitness Model and IFBB Bikini Pro) ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, ''etc.''), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable ↗.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here ↗. <!-- Template:Db-notability-notice --> duffbeerforme (talk) 12:16, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
=====================
Firstly, what's needed in 2014 and onwards, is a map to show the Tribal Area of the Dirawong Tribe, and also ask permission from Bundjalung Elders about revealing to the public the missing bits of the tribal map.
Second thing I need to mention is we need to have a book (printed or online) made by Bundjalung Aboriginals, that can be used as reference material for future generations of Wikipedia developers, and it will also be extra information that can be read by all people around the world.
Thirdly, we need to record any Aboriginal stories or legends about the spirits of the Bundjalung tribes, as well as any other data, information knowledge or wisdom the tribe may have. This can be uploaded to various media sources for distribution to the world/Galaxy/Universe
Lastly, I have spoken to an Bundjalung Elder and found interesting missing map information, that had never been discovered since European settlement.
========
Great Work,
All the true carriers of knowledge were around in the 1960's, can a book be written today
