:please stop deleting edits, these are official releases on all platforms for artist and is cited correctly and yes did produce official song this is public knowledge https://genius.com/Yung-q-wake-up-dead-remix-lyrics https://open.spotify.com/track/5AJyO504wxLGcH9dmAuPYI?si=9da2542b43684040 with over 20 million streams on Spotify these are official songs, and No Time 2 Waste was made over 15 years ago and is a official release by Chris Brown as well please stop you was blocked for abuse of system Nerdyhistorygirl (talk) 15:15, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
::First of all, the chorus of "No Time 2 Waste" isn't Chris Brown—it's a singer named Corey Jones. And don't assume tracks uploaded to Apple Music or Spotify are necessarily official releases. If I wanted to, I could also participate in a Chris Brown remix and upload it to Spotify myself and you too. And those streaming numbers exceeding 20 million are more likely exploiting a loophole in Spotify's streaming count system. Does it make sense that the original "Wake Up Dead" and the remix have the same streaming numbers? Even the lyrics posted on Genius were uploaded by the artist themself. The lyrics page views barely exceed 10, and this is an official remix with over 20 million streams? HeartbreakOnAFullMoon (talk) 03:54, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
:::Never heard of corey jones and not sure if apple or spotify will allow it if not official i will look into this for now, i heard this song from Chris Brown story this is how was found he posted this himself also the artist Has videos and song with many major artist but not sure exactly maybe because they are song writers and write songs and are allow to be credited in anyway. but regardless its still official releases on all these artist profiles and needs to be up. and is also copyrighted with there names so they are getting royalties. Maybe how they just make money from every source. Thank you Nerdyhistorygirl (talk) 18:48, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
::::I fully acknowledge that the vocal style in that song resembles Chris Brown's. But no matter how many times I listen, it doesn't sound like the pitch was artificially raised or lowered, and it just sounds like someone else's vocal. Maybe Chris Brown was involved in the lyrics or production credits, but if that's the case, it should be listed under the production credits, not as a featured artist. However, there are no obvious credits anywhere. Another thing that keeps making me suspicious as I continue searching is that on SoundCloud and YouTube, keywords like “No Time to Waste,” “ft. Corey Jones,” and “Produced by Kountdown” keep popping up repeatedly since 2012 and 2013. And that chorus is being used by countless unknown artists like it's some kind of type beat. Corey Jones has a lot more names than Chris Brown, too. Thank you. HeartbreakOnAFullMoon (talk) 01:16, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
:::::well what i'm thinking is maybe Chris Brown recorded this as a reference and that artist maybe layered it with his vocals as well or kept Chris Browns adlibs and since he was a writer maybe allowed to use him as a feature and credit because yes I do see the song with hook around I think this was a song recorded and threw out and producer was able to get full rights to it and sold it in a way the contract allowed them too as many singers have tons of reference tracks out there never used or released all in all I think if its officially released it still a song with them on it keep in mind this song seems to be over 15 years old and the songs on SoundCloud are terrible quality compared to the official one so I think maybe this was a reference track they was able to get rights too use. Last thing is there is video with these artist together I assume they know each other and was able to clear it that way because Yung Q seems to be a producer and a artist on the side even though his catalog is fairly huge doesn't seem to be his main focus Nerdyhistorygirl (talk) 03:06, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
::::::Woah, this is really weird. Back in 2016, a trio R&B group 4EY The Future released a song called "No Time to Waste". It even has a music video on YouTube, and Wale was featured on it. The songwriting credits are unverifiable, but Hitmaka and Cujo were involved in the production. Seeing that 'Hol' Up' signature sound in Wale's part makes me think Ayo & Keyz might have been involved too... If the source of the Chris' songwriting credits and Kountdown' production credits is confirmed, it seems more appropriate to place it in the production category rather than the featured artist category. HeartbreakOnAFullMoon (talk) 07:53, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
:::::::strange alot of people have this record, what i found out was Kountdown is a duo and Yung Q is the producer use to use that name on soundclick but changed to God Family Cash, what i assume is he probably created the beat had Chris Brown vocals for hook but never released it and was selling this song for money because there more money in production then singing because seems more he a producer than artist. So my theory is he had full rights to released this as a feature but had the other artist layer the vocals and sold it to artist as a lease but maintained the master rights so he can release it too as his own. That makes more sence and is done alot in industry with lesser known artist. Drake has songs all over with his reference and somebody well producer can change add anything to vocals they want since they have the recording. I come to this conclusion as there is a video showing these vocals recorded like Raw before mix on this song so was able to use this as a Chris Brown Feature and able to public release it as that but when sold it as leases to other artist they didnt have that right and with Wale on the song as well its not credited to anybody who actually produced it seems like that rap Group paid for a lease and got wale feature on it which artist do alot as well. All in all i think this is a legit feature since artist does have to rights to release it and its been up for over 15 years if there wasnt no rights it wouldnt be up on any chris brown platforms. This definitely learning for me music industry is interesting but is logical not everybody rich in that business and seems like they got they moneys worth Nerdyhistorygirl (talk) 20:44, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
::::::::Thank you. Can you show me the source that says producer Kountdown is a duo and the raw vocal footage of Chris Brown before mixing? From what I've found, Kountdown and Yung Q (Frankie Quesada) are completely separate individuals and don't seem to have ever worked together as a duo. Kountdown has provided beats to artists like Kid Ink, PnB Rock, and Bryson Tiller. But I can't find any mention of Yung Q or Frankie Quesada on those tracks. The beat appears to be entirely Kountdown's solo work. Kountdown made the beat and worked with Chris, but since he holds the full rights, he likely sold it to anyone—be it SoundCloud artists, Yung Q, Hitmaka, 4EY The Future etc. HeartbreakOnAFullMoon (talk) 08:05, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::Not sure how to add the source but i guess they was a duo who made this Kountdown and Sdot Fire and all things show this is legit feature just they sold it off as leases and to recoup money from it which now a days is a heavy practice producers sell multiple songs with famous artist same verse but with contracts its legal so think these should be added as these are a part of catalog and source was a postdated 2013 was a video vocals acapella and saying will no longer be a part of beat production on and will leave it to the team to branch off as artist and label Nerdyhistorygirl (talk) 20:47, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::need to add this to discography these are legit songs and is everywhere legally as i can see and copyrighted and registered Nerdyhistorygirl (talk) 16:55, 24 December 2025 (UTC)

You need to stop

Please stop posting certifications on my talk page every time Chris Brown has a new certification. I update certifications on daily basis. What you can do, is ask to look at his document that I have for Chris Brown's detailed certified sales once in a while, that way you'll know if anything is missing. Also, certifications posted on Instagram are useless, they need to be posted on the web sites of the certifying bodies. Posting certifications on my talk the way you're doing is disruptive, honestly.--Harout72 (talk) 04:36, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
