Wikipedia and copyright

30px|link=|alt=Control copyright icon ↗ Hello Ich-Du-De! Your additions to :Airbus A380 ↗ have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain ↗ or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible ↗ copyright license. (''To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗''.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright ↗ and plagiarism ↗ issues.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked ↗ from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-copyright-new --> — Diannaa (talk) 13:43, 29 December 2021 (UTC)

:Hello Diannaa! Thanks for the copyright warning. But you deleted also a passage not taken from copyrighted BBC, it is from Airbus PR. I have restored the said passage.Ich-Du-De (talk) 05:05, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
:: Even if you take the passage from Airbus PR, it is still copyright violation. You must write it in your own words. <b style="color: #0000FF;">OhanaUnited</b><b style="color: green;">Talk page</b> 03:57, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from :McDonnell Douglas MD-80 ↗ into :McDonnell Douglas MD-90 ↗. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing ↗ does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary ↗ at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking ↗ to the copied page, e.g., <code>copied content from <nowiki>page name ↗</nowiki>; see that page's history for attribution</code>. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{tl|copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-copying --> — Diannaa (talk) 14:23, 24 July 2022 (UTC)

:Noted! Actually I left a note "Removed the 'derivative' portion (moved to the related article MD-90)" in the edit summary of the source article McDonnell Douglas MD-80 ↗, but forgot to make the corresponding attribution "copied content from the article MD-80" to the target article McDonnell Douglas MD-90 ↗. Thank you anyway! Ich-Du-De (talk) 03:40, 25 July 2022 (UTC)

Airbus aircraft

Please avoid WP:jargon ↗ and WP:Puffery ↗. Thanks.--Marc Lacoste (talk) 07:23, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
: Thanks, but that was not WP:Puffery ↗ as the high efficiency (low fuel burn) is expected for "all new" and "last generation" airliner like Airbus A220. So, the Boeing 797 ↗ would be more efficient than A220 if built, IMO.Ich-Du-De (talk) 13:53, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
:: Not just your recent edit, but many of your edits employ weasel words similar to the manufacturers marketing materials. You have to be more careful and more factual.--Marc Lacoste (talk) 16:00, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

January 2026

30px|alt=Stop icon ↗ Your recent editing history at :List of Airbus A220 operators ↗ shows that you are currently engaged in an '''edit war ↗'''. This means that you are repeatedly changing a page's content back to how you believe it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree with your changes. Please ''stop editing the page'' and use the '''talk page ↗''' to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus ↗ among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaining how this is accomplished ↗. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevant noticeboard ↗ or seek dispute resolution ↗ such as a third opinion ↗. In some cases, you may wish to request page protection ↗ while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.

'''If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing ↗ Wikipedia'''&mdash;especially if you violate the three-revert rule ↗, which states that an editor ''must not perform more than three reverts ↗ on a single page within a 24-hour period''. Undoing another editor's work&mdash;whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time&mdash;counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring&mdash;'''even if you do not violate the three-revert rule'''&mdash; if things indicate that you intend to continue reverting content on the page.<!-- Template:uw-3rr --> <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 08:04, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

:@Ich-Du-De this is your last warning - per the policy on edit warring ↗ you MUST discuss disputed changes on the article talk page with the other editor. I have no view on which version is correct - I am merely restoring the version before the dispute started. It’s your responsibility as the editor wishing to make the disputed changes to discuss these changes at the article talk. If the other editor doesn’t respond, then at least you’ve tried - but as of right now you’re simply edit warring without discussion. Stop. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 07:34, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
::My edit, although correctly sourced from the most recent Airbus O&D file, was reverted twice by you. Then provide me with your "secret" source indicating otherwise, so that I can take it into account. It's as simple as that! Ich-Du-De (talk) 02:49, 24 January 2026 (UTC)
