License tagging for Image:Group25.jpg

Thanks for uploading :Image:Group25.jpg ↗. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag ↗ applied to the image description page ↗ indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Still Searching ↗

Please stop it with the b-side tracks in the Still Searching ↗ article. The tracks are not part of the album, I made my case on the talk page (which nobody contested), and what you are doing (edit warring, personal attacks, etc.) is against Wikipedia policy. If you continue I will take this to an admin. --HarryCane 11:39, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
:Why it is not the same as the BestBuy bonus tracks I have thoroughly explained on Talk:Still Searching ↗. And that an anonymous IP re-added the part does not prove anything, as that could have been anybody (even you yourself, though I do not believe it was &ndash; just consider the credibility this person has). And the B-side information you want to show with the list at the bottom is already more detailled and more prominently displayed at the top of the article. The problem with a list underneath the track listing (especially when the tracks are numbered 17 through 19) is that it will give readers the incorrect notion that the songs are in fact part of the CD and that there are copies that carry the tracks.--HarryCane 14:16, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
::They were indeed listed as 17-19 (see anonymous user's revision ↗). I never said I thought the anonymous user was you. That's why I said ''"though I do not believe it was"'' (see above). And it would confuse readers in the sense that they would be listed as B-sides '''underneath the track listing and bonus tracks''' (without giving information on where/if the songs were released), which would imply that they are part of the album. Per Wikipedia:Guide_to_layout#Body_sections ↗, editors should avoid creating sections with little information, especially when all information supplied is '''redunant within the very article'''. For the fourth time, the b-sides are listed at the top, including information on how they could be obtained. Why is it this important to you that they have their own section? Also, it would be nice if you gave some examples for the "many band pages" using this structure (preferably ones that weren't added by yourself). And I really don't know how deleting utter redundancy from pages makes me a ''"bad" person''. --HarryCane 18:27, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sf2002.jpg

Image copyright problem with :Image:SkyEatsAirplanepromopic.jpg ↗

32px|left|Image Copyright problem ↗
'''Hi Xtbs7645x!'''<br />
We thank you for uploading :Image:SkyEatsAirplanepromopic.jpg ↗, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright ↗ very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag ↗, it may be deleted ↗ by an Administrator ↗. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a '''copyright tag ↗''' to the image description page ↗. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. Thanks so much for your cooperation.<br /><small>This message is from a robot ↗.</small>

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Essorryep.jpg}

Thank you for uploading ''':Image:Essorryep.jpg ↗'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation ↗ linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
:* That there is a non-free use rationale ↗ on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
:* That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag ↗; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Taking Back Sunday Self-Titled.jpg

64px|left|File Copyright problem|link= ↗
Thanks for uploading ''':File:Taking Back Sunday Self-Titled.jpg ↗'''. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright ↗ status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{Tl|GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL ↗. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗, use a tag such as {{tlp|non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use ↗. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags ↗ for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created [{{ fullurl:Special:Log|type=upload&user=Xtbs7645x}} in your upload log]. '''Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged''', as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license ↗ (per Wikipedia:Fair use ↗) then '''the file will be deleted 48 hours ↗ after 20:25, 13 April 2011 (UTC)'''. Disambiguation link notification for April 21

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Flume (musician) ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Say It ↗. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. <small>Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.</small>

Proposed deletion of Conscious (Broods album)

left|link=|48px| ↗

The article Conscious (Broods album) ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32; because of the following concern:
:'''Fails WP:NALBUM ↗'''

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> '''<span style="color:#000000;">Schwede</span><span style="color:#FF4500;">66</span>''' 03:34, 7 May 2016 (UTC)

:Your further edits are no doubt well-meaning, but you need to provide independent ↗ and reliable sources ↗. Citing a press release does not even come close to meeting the requirements. '''<span style="color:#000000;">Schwede</span><span style="color:#FF4500;">66</span>''' 23:31, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

Schwede66 ↗ i think someone has removed the WP:PROD ↗ notice for apparent reason, maybe its notable enough or playing silly. Scotsman18 (talk) 08:49, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
