''Do not keep reinstating your edit when you have been reverted multiple times. Take your concerns to the talk page and gain consensus for the change. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please do not add or change content, as you did at :Shrek Forever After ↗, without citing a reliable source ↗. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hi JR226555! I noticed that you've made several edits in order to restore a version of :New York City ↗. The impulse to repeatedly undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure that you're aware of Wikipedia's edit warring policy ↗. Repeatedly undoing the changes made by other users in a back-and-forth fashion like this is disallowed, even if you feel what you're doing is justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages ↗ in order to try to reach a consensus ↗ with the other editors involved. If you are unable to come to an agreement at {{TALKPAGENAME:New York City}} ↗, please use one of the dispute resolution options ↗ that are available in order to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of repeatedly reverting other editors' changes can help you avoid getting drawn into edit wars. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-ewsoft --> Seasider53 (talk) 20:29, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at :Tron Legacy ↗. Your edits appear to be disruptive ↗ and have been or will be reverted ↗.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute ↗ with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page ↗, and seek consensus ↗ with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution ↗ page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards ↗.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents ↗.
:It's literally what every page about a sequel on Wikipedia does. It's only pointless in *your* opinion. Piss off JR226555 (talk) 18:00, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
::You're the first and only editor doing it as a footnote. Other editors have stated the same thing and reverting is disruptive. Since you know the term "status quo," it's obvious you're an experienced editor and know the policies and guidelines. – <span style="color:navy">The Grid</span> (<span style="color:navy">talk</span>) 18:26, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
Unsourced edits
Hey there,
Make sure you <u>'''add a source'''</u> whenever you make claims like a film is a box office bomb. Adding information without a source is the same as carrying a bow with no arrows: it's useless. NarutoSan6000 (talk) 23:33, 25 February 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Doniago. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view ↗. Your recent edit to :The Bourne Supremacy (film) ↗ seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-npov1 --> DonIago (talk) 18:42, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
:How was any of that not neutral?
:One of them was literally just adding a note to explain plot information. As for the other one, it is undeniable that the plot of Supremacy is completely different than the book, there's literally a note in the article explaining that. The rest was just adding brief context about the release of the film, just like every other page about a sequel. JR226555 (talk) 23:01, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
::To describe a film as a "loose" adaptation is a matter of perspective. In any event, since there's already an explanatory footnote, it's unnecessary in any case; in fact, it sounds like it's not really an adaptation at all if the plot is ''entirely'' different. I don't have any issues with the rest of your edits. DonIago (talk) 01:38, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please do not add or change content, as you did at :Army of Darkness ↗, without citing a reliable source ↗. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources ↗ to see how to add references to an article. ''Nothing I saw in the article indicates that the film has a cult following.''<!-- Template:uw-unsourced2 --> DonIago (talk) 14:48, 30 March 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Warning icon ↗ Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy ↗ by adding your personal analysis or synthesis ↗ into articles, as you did at :Superman Returns ↗, you may be blocked from editing ↗. <!-- Template:uw-nor3 --> Betty Logan (talk) 15:38, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
:Whatever. You can keep on being intentionally ignorant towards what the movie is making abundantly clear JR226555 (talk) 17:54, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
::25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please do not attack ↗ other editors. Comment on ''content'', not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool ↗ and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-npa2 -->

30px|alt=Stop icon ↗ You may be '''blocked from editing ↗ without further warning''' the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced ↗ material to Wikipedia, as you did at :Michael Myers (Halloween) ↗. <!-- Template:uw-unsourced4 --> Belbury (talk) 08:22, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
:I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure that was referenced multiple times throughout the franchise JR226555 (talk) 11:08, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
::Perhaps! But Wikipedia requires verifiable sources. An editor saying they are pretty sure they can remember a character's middle name is not enough. Belbury (talk) 11:22, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=icon ↗ Please stop attacking ↗ other editors. If you continue, you may be blocked ↗ from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. ''Please remember to be civil ↗ to others. Your reply, {{tq|It's literally what every page about a sequel on Wikipedia does. It's only pointless in *your* opinion.
