Invitation to participate in a research
Hello,
The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this '''anonymous survey ↗'''.
You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.
The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page ↗ and view its privacy statement ↗ .
Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.
Kind Regards,
WMF Research Team ↗

You're at 3RR on ITNC. Please don't revert repeatedly. (Especially over something as silly as a "ready" tag.) Levivich (talk) 23:17, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
:{{reply|Levivich}} I didn’t make a single revert (please see WP:RV ↗), just unmarked the nomination three times. As for the nomination, you cannot force a blurb to be posted by bludgeoning ↗ and not willing to improve the article. You called an editor disrespectful for their oppose vote, removed the CN tags from the “Television” and “Video games” sub-sections as redundant even though there are sources in the “Films” sub-section, and marked the article ready when it’s clearly not. We all know that there’s consensus for a blurb, but it won’t be posted until article’s quality is there. I hope this helps. Best regards.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 00:04, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
::#27 Jul 07:26 ↗ was a revert (with no edit summary) of this edit ↗
::#27 Jul 17:41 ↗ was a revert of this edit ↗
::#27 Jul 21:53 ↗ was a revert of me ↗
::That's 3 reverts in 24 hrs. Frankly I'm a bit annoyed that you'd deny the obvious and make me take the time to pull the diffs to prove I'm not making it up. Trying to turn this around on me is also poor form. Look, after you've made one (certainly two) reverts, if it needs to be reverted again, someone else will do it. Also, have some faith in our admins, they will not be fooled by a "(Ready)" tag if the article is not actually ready. Levivich (talk) 00:19, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
:::{{reply|Levivich}} Admins don’t post it because article’s quality is insufficient (this ↗ confirms it), but the real problem is that you mark the article ready in that shape. That’s a misleading and unproductive edit. By your logic, if it had to be marked ready, someone else would do it. Instead of rules-lawyering, you could’ve spent the time to improve the article and speed up posting the blurb. I havent’t participated in the discussion on that nomination, and my edits were minor and technical as my edits made to other nominations at the same time (for instance, this ↗). Fair enough.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 05:53, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
Tag-bombing the article minutes after it was posted was a really poor move. If I see you do one more thing to try and thwart consensus, I will complain about it at ANI. Levivich (talk) 22:36, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
:Apart from the minor reference gaps, the article has a big problem as a lot of content on his early life relies on a single primary source, so it’s necessary to balance it with viewpoints from non-primary sources. Cleanlring the tags withoit doing anything just to make the article go on the main page wasn’t a good move. Best.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 05:49, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
{{humor|section=yes}}
{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to ''' gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully and constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia ↗;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines ↗;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system ↗.
<p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics <em>procedures</em>, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template. </p>}}<!-- Derived from Template:Contentious topics/alert/first --> Figured I should send this notification because of the ITN thread. Again, this does ''not'' imply that you did anything wrong, it's purely a procedural notification. Thanks, QuicoleJR (talk) 14:49, 1 April 2026 (UTC)

Gaslighting comment
You wrote elsewhere: "I expect RockyKT to continue gaslighting." It would help improve the editor community (and thus the encyclopedia) if we limit this type of personal attack in our discourse to an absolute minimum. I'll note editors are free to modify their comments, and I generally encourage those who recognize their comments are detracting from the quality of our community and encyclopedia to do so. (— 𝐬𝐝𝐒𝐝𝐬 — - ''talk'') 21:21, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
:{{reply|Sdsds}} Yes, I did, I don't regret writing it, and I don't think it's a personal attack because it's a policy-based observation (see WP:GASLIGHTING ↗). Note that WP:GASLIGHTING says {{tq|Employing gaslighting tactics – such as history re-writing, reality denial, misdirection, baseless contradiction, projection of your own foibles onto others, repetition, or off-topic rambling – to destabilize a discussion by sowing doubt and discord.}} Of the actions qualifying as gaslighting tactics, at least, reality denial, misdirection, repetition and off-topic rambling were used by that editor (formerly a temporary account) in the discussion. Persistently claiming that a source ↗ is independent when it's not and a third-party editor raised concerns about it is 'reality denial', arguing with insights from my edit history is an example of 'misdirection', referring to a report at WP:ANI ↗ is 'off-topic rambling', and doing all this multiple times is clearly a 'repetition'. If you're so worried about the quality of our community and encyclopaedia, please read the entire discussion before jumping to conclusions. Thank you for your understanding and future consideration. Best regards. --Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 07:34, 22 May 2026 (UTC)
