25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style ↗ that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in :George Floyd ↗, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page ↗ to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hi, and thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to change the title of a page by cutting its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move ↗", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history ↗, which is legally required for attribution ↗. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be ''moved'' to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits ↗, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab ↗ at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu ↗ for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect ↗ from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves ↗ to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge ↗. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 07:00, 2 November 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please do not add or change content, as you did at :Republic of New Afrika ↗, without citing a reliable source ↗. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources ↗ to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 13:46, 9 November 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template.
}} Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 07:24, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Maram Susli ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history ↗ of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk ↗ for assistance.

This is why mods assumed it was sock puppets or something last time. He's the one who has to take the edit to the talk page because he originally made it, but him, his alts, or maybe someone he knows also said I'm the one who needs to take it to the talk page. And why did you say "your" edit war when he started it if you look at the edit history. So if I revert him again I get blocked again but he can revert me and nothing happens. With today I don't know what a level four warning is (so I'm sorry) and most of the stuff I added was sourced. If one sentence wasn't sourced I'm also sorry. Is the page good now that I removed that paragraph that wasn't sourced? Kpop777 (talk) 20:51, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Berbers ↗ and Copts ↗ are the only non-Black Indigenous Africans ↗

Dear Kpop777,

Did you know that the Berbers and Copts of North Africa ↗ are the only ethnic groups who are non-Black and still indigenous to the African continent ↗? ~2026-10777-52 ↗ (talk) 19:28, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

:i know Arabs aren't indigenous to the continent and the ancient Israelites and ancient Egyptians were Black Kpop777 (talk) 21:28, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
::No, ancient Egyptians were Copts ↗ and ancient Israelites were Jews ↗ (specifically Mizrahi Jews ↗), but none of them were Black. ~2026-11732-63 ↗ (talk) 10:40, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
:::Nation of Islam ↗ teaches that the biblical Israelites were black though Kpop777 (talk) 10:55, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
::::The Nation of Islam also created the myth of Yakub ↗. Not everything the Nation of Islam said is true. ~2026-12271-36 ↗ (talk) 20:03, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
:::::Yakub story might be true no evidence it's a myth Kpop777 (talk) 22:06, 24 February 2026 (UTC)

Ibrahim Traoré

Hello, trying to be fair, but according to the social policies ↗ section of Traoré article, there's ample evidence for his discrimination against LGBTQ people ↗. The evidence comprises about half of this entire section, which goes on to source the specific anti-LGBTQ actions taken by Traoré, and not any other politician in the history of Burkina Faso ↗. SIGM17 (talk) 00:14, 4 April 2026 (UTC)

:you can put "anti-gay" but don't put Anti-LGBTQ. It says nothing about his views on trans people or asexual people or queer people it just mentions "He banned homosexuality". Just put "anti-gay". I doubt your edit is going to last more than a week though someone else will probably revert it but try it Kpop777 (talk) 02:07, 4 April 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. I have noticed that you {{usertalk other|often ↗|often}} edit without using an edit summary ↗. Please do your best to {{strong|always fill in the summary field}}. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to set {{Preferences|Editing|Editor|check={{int:tog-forceeditsummary}}}}. :No, you don't get to assume someone's a white supremacist. The only difference between your conduct and theirs is that they ignored warnings. Stop making assumptions like that.
