Wastelanders & 'Old Man'

Hi ALegoK9, I just wanted to reach out after reverting your edit on Marvel's Wastelanders ↗. The original title for the first installment was ''Old Man Star-Lord''. Originally, they were all going to be ''Old Man [name]'' (except for ''Gray Widow''). That's what's in the sources and how it first aired. Finest/Compacts upcoming section

Hi. I did create a section on the Finest Talk page that tagged you, but didn't get a reply.

Essentially, the point of the upcoming release sections on the Finest and Compact pages are so that people can see - very easily - what is next to come out.

If they are replaced by 'all releases', then:
a) That information is buried, because the 'upcoming books' are halfway down a list. This is especially the case as and when more items are released.
b) I don't see the purpose for 'all releases' - because all of the books are already listed above. Everything is now listed twice. But... why?
c) At some point, this will reach Wikipedia's style threshold on tables ↗ that reads: "...overloading tables with too much detailed statistical data is against policy. Careful thought should be given to how a reader would use a table, and what level of detail is appropriate."

Essentially, why have what will end up being 100s of items in a single table when they're already listed in a different way on the same page?

There has to be a legitimate reason.

The reasoning of "Changing this to a release order. That way there's to need to remove entries every few weeks." doesn't ring true - because books are added to the list all the time anyway. It's such a small change to remove a book or two from the top of the list.

Spanish books on DC Compact page

Can you please read/engage with the post here ↗. Those Spanish books need to be on their own page. I don't want to simply delete them from the English page - but if you're not willing to create the Spanish page, the it'll have to happen. Peterspeterson (talk) 14:08, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
