Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources ↗ to verify ↗ information, especially about living people ↗. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Oan Djorkaeff ↗ article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 00:58, 1 May 2025 (UTC)

:Hi Giantsnowman. The source I used was Transfermarkt. I had thought that his Transfermarkt page had been cited already - my mistake. Lewishamilll (talk) 09:19, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
::Transfermarkt is not a reliable source. I respectfully suggest you post your suggested changes at Talk:Oan Djorkaeff ↗ for further discussion. GiantSnowman 14:07, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
:::Hi GiantSnowman. I don't understand why you have reported me. The edits I do are not malicious. Since you called me out on using Transfermarkt, I have refrained from adding information from the site such as statistics. Most of the time when editing I don't add or delete any information at all, I often fix grammatical errors, restructure or tidy up paragraphs and other small details, such as fixing or providing links. I follow formats from other footballers' pages, with clear precedent. I wouldn't describe that as vandalism or unconstructive. What from my Pocognoli edit constitutes that? Lewishamilll (talk) 15:11, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
::::You are removing sourced content from the infobox. GiantSnowman 15:20, 26 May 2025 (UTC)

:30px|alt=Stop icon ↗ You may be '''blocked from editing ↗ without further warning''' the next time you vandalize ↗ Wikipedia, as you did at :Sébastien Pocognoli ↗. <!-- Template:uw-vandalism4 --> GiantSnowman 15:17, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
::How is adding that Union SG plays in the Belgian Pro League (a fact which does not need a citation), fixing the AZ Alkmaar team name (check other AZ Alkmaar players page, in boxes it is just AZ, without Alkmaar), and deleting his youth team managerial stints (he is a senior football manager now, most managers start with youth teams yet they aren't added in their managerial careers section) VANDALISM?? Lewishamilll (talk) 15:23, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
:::You are removing sourced content from the infobox. What policy/guideline/consensus says that the youth teams need to come out of the infobox? GiantSnowman 15:24, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
::::Ok, please advise me on where to start a discussion on this or find clarity. Because if you are right, than the infoboxes of some famous managers such as Brendan Rodgers, Dean Smith, Eddie Howe, Sean Dyche, and even José Mourinho (who all are well documented to have coached youth teams first) are surprisingly lacking information then. This is what I mean by precedent. I don't make up rules as I go. Lewishamilll (talk) 15:35, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::If I may specify, in all of their pages it is stated that they coached youth teams of certain sides. All from cited sources. Why aren't these coaching stints in their managerial career infobox then? For example in the Sean Dyche page:
:::::"Dyche re-joined Watford as under-18s coach in 2007" (with citation)
:::::But there isn't "2007–2009 Watford U18" on his infobox?
:::::That's why I argue that there is a concensus that once they become manager of a senior team, information on what youth teams they coached is frankly irrelevant.
:::::Same thing goes with assistant coach/manager roles, which is also not stated on any of the above figures' pages, despite them also being assistant managers at some point of their careers and stated in the managerial career section of their pages. Lewishamilll (talk) 15:53, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::*not stated in any of the above figures' infoboxes
::::::Lewishamilll (talk) 15:54, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS ↗ - to counter your example, see Brendan Rodgers ↗ where his stint as Chelsea Reserves manager is in the infobox. GiantSnowman 15:55, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::::He was youth coach first in 2004, as the page states. Why is that not stated in the infobox? Lewishamilll (talk) 16:00, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::::Reserves and youth are different. Even this page that states that he was reserve manager (other pages that I state dont even do that) doesnt state that he was youth coach in the infobox... Lewishamilll (talk) 16:02, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::Because there's a difference between being a coach and being a manager - we only include managerial roles in the infobox. GiantSnowman 16:10, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::On Brendan Rodgers page it literally says that he was youth head coach at Chelsea. Head coach = manager. Lewishamilll (talk) 16:17, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::::If you want to get all into semantics with me, here's a BBC article that talks about that same stint he had at Chelsea was as youth team manager, before being promoted to reserve manager its the same role, some say head coach some say manager, as is the case in the football world. You should know that. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/27149695
:::::::::::But let's not get away from the fact that I have actually found concensus that shows that youth team managerial stints are not added to the infobox. These are pages of major figures in football such as Mourinho - i'd imagine if there was no concensus, someone would've added it on there by now. But nobody has. I wonder why. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia ↗. I noticed that one or more recent edits you made did not have an edit summary ↗. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary ↗, or by discussion on the talk page ↗. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit and/or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief ↗.

The edit summary field looks like this:
{{Edit summary field/OOUI}}

or in the visual editor:
