Commas in dates
Hi, thanks for your keen-eyed typographical corrections! I've noticed that in a lot of instances you've put a comma after a year, such as {{diff2|1257410481|here}} and {{diff2|1258185689|here}}. Please be aware that doing this is a practice specific to US English, and therefore isn't appropriate for many articles. You can see MOS:DATE ↗ for further date style information, and MOS:DATERET ↗ and MOS:ENGVAR ↗ regarding retaining the existing style in the article. Hopefully that will save you some effort! Ligaturama (talk) 18:25, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
:Sorry for the late reply and thank you for this, I wasn't aware of the nuances. Best, LucasJanssen4444 (talk) 09:24, 30 December 2024 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hi LucasJanssen4444! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy ↗ disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages ↗ to try to reach consensus ↗. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options ↗ to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Less Unless (talk) 15:40, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
Bare url in 2024–25 European windstorm season ↗
Hi,
you have corrected some ''bare url'', thanks!
But some of them are not ''permanent link'', as the page content is often updated daily!
For more information, please see Talk:2024–25_European_windstorm_season#Unreliable_/_irrelevant_citation ↗; yours, En rouge (talk) 00:07, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
Note: please {{t|ping}} me, otherwise I'm not notified of your reply here.
2025 Stanley Cup playoffs ↗
Hello, you made an edit to the above article that had the summary "URL error corrected". Could you elaborate on what this means? You're the second person to rewrite the citation and I'm genuinely curious what the error is. Conyo14 (talk) 20:26, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
:Hi! As far as I see there was a bare URL on this page which I have converted. That's what I meant. Every time I correct data or convert a bare URL I use "URL error corrected" summary. Sorry for misunderstanding( LucasJanssen4444 (talk) 07:52, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
::Thank you, apparently it was a date that was written incorrectly. Go figure. Conyo14 (talk) 09:42, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee ↗ is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process ↗. 30px|left|alt=Stop icon ↗ When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to :Big Top (video game) ↗, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright ↗. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube ↗ or Sci-Hub ↗, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators '''will be blocked ↗ from editing.'''
If you believe the linked site is ''not'' violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
:*If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page ↗;
:*If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page ↗ with a link to where we can find that note;
:*If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page ↗;
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. ''myabandonware download link is a copyright concern'' Waxworker (talk) 23:23, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to ''' living or recently deceased subjects of biographical content on Wikipedia articles''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia ↗;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines ↗;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system ↗.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template.
