Edit-warring without understanding policy

This is what MOS:FILMLEAD ↗ says: "Succeeding sentences in the first paragraph should identify other elements, such as (in no defined order) the director, the star(s), and any writers or producers who are well-known. If the film is based on source material, that material and its creators should be identified. In terms of plot, the general premise should be briefly summarized, along with any actors' roles within it." Which part of this makes you edit-war? Krimuk2.0 (talk) 12:12, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to :Dunki (film) ↗, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Levent Mercan ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Defender ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)

Translating citation titles

When inserting translated citation titles, do not remove the original-language titles, as this makes it impossible to identify the actual citation. The trans-title parameter is available for this. --Paul_012 (talk) 23:03, 5 November 2024 (UTC)

:I'm sorry, I'm not sure how to do this. Any way you can help? Sorry, I've removed all 5 of the original language titles. M48SKY (talk) 23:06, 5 November 2024 (UTC)

Per the Good Article Instructions ↗, editors must be significant contributors to an article in order to nominate it for GA status. Since you have less than 10% authorship and are not in the top 10 by number of edits, and have not made an explanatory talk page post, I have removed your nomination. ♠PMC♠ (talk) ↗ 17:50, 19 June 2025 (UTC)

:@livelikemusic, I am confused as to what I'm doing that is getting this level of anger out of you. I am editing the page and referencing to the best of my ability. If you think I've done something egregious, surely it would be more helpful to open dialogue and tell me exactly what it is I have done incorrect and instruct me on how to be better, rather than to threaten me with bans.

:So far, you have been upset with:
:* Me adding a bare reference for the extra dates to the show; I then went and updated the bare reference the next time I edited.
:* Me not adding "third party" references for the tour dates, despite the primary reference (the artist themselves) updating the tour with the dates
:* Me polishing up the page with grammar fixes and trying to help with navigation; the section on all the tour dates is difficult to navigate comfortably and I was trying to be helpful.

:I am not trying to edit war with you nor do I believe I am doing harm to the page. I feel you are angry that I am not editing comparable to you, which I feel is unreasonable to expect from other editors. I would understand if I was edit warring or making unhelpful edits to the page, but my edits are clearly an attempt to be constructive. In the time you spent threatening, you can spend the same time helping or teaching.

:I do not want this to come across as an attack on you so please do not attack me. M48SKY (talk) 16:59, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
