Source misrepresenation/extrapolation
MaduraiSelvam, I reviewed some of your recent edits and found many of them misrepresenting the sources you cite, or to be generous, greatly extrapolate from them ↗. For instance, on the Kuravar ↗ page, you added the following content ↗ (which you have also added to a number ↗ of other ↗ articles ↗):
{{quote|Vedic beliefs written in Sanskrit ↗ and its associated languages, who migrated into Indian subcontinent has referred the Tamil communities - native of Indian subcontinent - as castes and categorized them into the pyramid of caste system according to their own beliefs. The native Indian societies including Tamils were subjected by the Social stratification and later was used by the British administration as well.}}
citing this article published in Science magazine ↗. However, the Science article is focused on the debate over the geographic origins of the Indo-European languages in Anatolia vs steppes. It, says nothing about caste system in general, or how it was imposed upon the Tamils by the immigrants' Vedic beliefs or by the British. Can you explain what is going on? Abecedare (talk) 18:30, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
Please read all the back references and understand how the western and north Indian historian has used mythological stories to describe Indian history. This publication and few more in the recent past has opened eye about the mythology and origin of Sanskrit in Middle eastern along with other Indo-European languages. Especially since Sanskrit language did not have a script till 14th century, rest of the history is obvious. It is not extrapolated please read the following papers and understand the truth.

:MaduraiSelvam, if you wish to edit and discuss matters productively, please make a concrete, discrete statement and then cite a source that supports it specifically. :Thank you for your response. I want to keep this discussion focused on content and sourcing, in line with Wikipedia’s core policies.
:At the moment, the issue is not about broader theories regarding the origins of Sanskrit, Indo-European languages, or Tamil antiquity. The concern is that the specific statement you added:<blockquote>“Vedic beliefs… categorized [Tamil communities] into the pyramid of caste system… later used by the British administration”</blockquote>is '''not directly supported by the source you cited''' (the ''Science'' article), nor by the additional sources listed. Those sources discuss linguistic origins, archaeology, or genetics, but they do '''not explicitly make the claims about caste imposition on Tamils''' as stated in the article.
:On Wikipedia, each claim must be supported by a '''reliable source that clearly and directly states that claim'''. Synthesizing multiple sources to reach a conclusion (even if it seems logical) is considered '''original research''', which is not allowed.
:If you would like to include this content, please:
:# Provide a '''reliable academic source''' that explicitly discusses:
:#* The relationship between Vedic traditions and caste classification of Tamil communities, and
:#* Any role of British administration in reinforcing or reshaping that system.
:# Quote or summarize the source in a way that '''accurately reflects what it says''', without extending beyond it.
:# Keep the wording '''neutral and evidence-based''', avoiding broad or interpretive conclusions not stated in the source.
:Also, please keep the discussion civil and focused on content. Comments about other editors’ knowledge or beliefs don’t help move this forward.
:If you can provide a source that directly supports the statement, I’m happy to review it. MaduraiSelvam (talk) 17:28, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
talk As you had claimed that my input were extrapolated you need to have some experience in the research review to make such comments or knowledge to evaluate a situation. Please do not mix your mythological belief to historical facts. DO NOT MIX THE STORIES YOU HEAR FROM MYTHOLOGY TO HISTORICAL FACTS.

Hinduism is a politicized definition of number of religious beliefs that was coined by British empire when ruling various kingdoms in the indian subcontinent. Temple belonging to a religion at the time of its construction should be referred to that religious; it cannot be twisted as written as something that is politically motivated. MaduraiSelvam (talk) 01:04, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
Hinduism/Shaivism/etc.
Hi. Is there any particular reason you're replacing Hinduism with Shaivism or Vishuism? You will need to find reliable sources these as the correct names for the Hindu religion, and should definitely discuss changes of this level on article talk pages first. For that reason, and without passing judgement on your edits, I'm reverting your recent changes. Best wishes. --regentspark <small>(comment)</small> 15:19, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
Hello sir, yes Shaivism and Vaishnavism are religious beliefs and had been in practice for thousands of years and the word Hinduism coined by British for political administration from 18 or 19th century. By referring to a word that is just 100 years old, diminishes the ancient history of religious practices of Indians. Hope you understand that mixing chronological antiquity of religious belief is not correct. maduraiselvam ↗
: I am afraid that is not good enough a reason. Picking up this edit ↗ for an example, I would point out the following problems:
:* There is no edit summary ↗.
:* There is no appeal to reliable sources ↗, either existing sources or new ones.
:* Wikipedia is written for contemporary readers using contemporary language. So, even if it was originally Shaivite ↗ temple, it may still need to be called a "Hindu temple" in present day language. This is especially the case in the MOS:LEAD ↗ which is a high-level summary meant for non-specialist readers. So, technical accuracy is not warranted here, but rather understandability.
: You definitely need to correct these problems as you go forward. Otherwise, such edits would be considered WP:POV ↗ and tendentious ↗. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 18:24, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

:Thank you for the feedback and for moving the article to draftspace. I understand the need for stronger sourcing and clearer demonstration of notability.

Kaliyammal Prakasan ↗ moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Kaliyammal Prakasan ↗. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because '''it has too many problems of language or grammar''' and '''it consists of machine-generated text'''.
I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page ↗.
When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Thilsebatti (talk) 05:26, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
:I would be glad to fix the mistakes if there are any to proceed further? MaduraiSelvam (talk) 17:10, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. :User talk:gurkubondinn has been hacking my work - this person is an Indian, claiming to be born elsewhere - caste biased person - trying to block all Indian users who post true facts that affect their politics and caste supremacy. :I have no energy to deal with this white racism and bullying and undemocratic process to grouping and bashing on contributors whose first language is not English and use language edit tools. As a Scientific professional with extensive History and Archeological research experience, I only contribute to things I know after extensive reading about places I have travelled and lived. World has to be seen as true facts, not just from the eyes of a biased white views with no references. Indian who had lived my life in Sweden, UK, many states in US and now living in the silicon valley, I have worked with many nationalities and languages speaking professionals, every aspects of our day today life is with AI tools, and at the same time researching and finding the right information to traditional literature search process shouldn't be compromised. I research repeatedly and read multiple sources before understanding the need to share the information correctly. So if any information I had shared is wrong and biased, point to me, instead you are pointing to software editing tools that I use for formatting. So try to understand the intention. MaduraiSelvam (talk) 14:41, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
::I hardly think the editor you're attacking can be ''both'' an Indian caste supremacist ''and'' a white racist. Since this is yet another personal attack, and not an unblock request, I am revoking your access to your talk page. You can appeal via UTRS, as will be detailed in the new block notice. I suggest not being racist there. In solidarity ↗, asilvering (talk) 15:20, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
{{Help me-helped}}
People, especially the same person who has been trailing me and claiming to be a hacker, which is intimidating, often assume I use a bot to create my contributions. In reality, I focus on researching my core strengths, writing, editing, and formatting wiki articles to ensure they look professional. I review my language, verify references, and proofread using multiple tools before posting. Some experts in hacking and bots don't even read our contributions; they just claim they're bot-generated. That's not accurate. We need to leverage all available tools to produce high-quality contributions with proper grammar and language, especially for a broader audience, including those like me whose first language isn't English.

:Hi @MaduraiSelvam, you've been blocked for being disruptive, and you've now made comments that are bordering on personal attacks of other users. This is not the purpose of a talk page or the {{tl|help me}} request template. You next edits may only be used in order to appeal your block in a productive manner, or your talk page access may end up revoked. Bobby Cohn 🍁 (talk) 18:23, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
