Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources ↗ to verify ↗ information, especially about living people ↗. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Billy Forbes (footballer, born 1990) ↗ article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 08:21, 3 May 2026 (UTC)

:Hi GS, good to hear from you! I presume you are talking about Billy's retirement, which he announced ↗ on his Facebook page, and the Turks and Caicos Islands Sports Commission confirmed this ↗ on their Facebook page. I believe you can't use social media as a reference, so I thought I would leave it until I had found a proper reference. After a bit of research, I have found that it was announced on a full-page spread in the Turks And Caicos Weekly News ↗ August 29, 2025 ↗ on page 50. Is there anything else you need, or is this sufficient?
:While you are here, I had been meaning to ask you about whitespace in infoboxes. How can I stop my edits using the visual editor within infoboxes from amending the whitespace that is useful for people source-editing? Obviously I can see the changes in the source editor, is copying the space from the revision summary the only way to add i back?
:Thanks for all your help. MessiIsMyBezzie (talk) 17:47, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
::Hey, just popping in as a random person: those sources should work perfectly! For future reference, social media posts actually can be cited for certain things, see WP:ABOUTSELF ↗. No answer on the source editor whitespace problem as I'm not so sure about that. <span style="color:#bf3c2c !important">'''Tessaract2'''</span> <span style="font-size: 85%;"><span style="color:#0000ff !important">(hello)</span></span> 17:28, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
:::I have updated the article with the sources. GiantSnowman 17:43, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
::::Thank you GS! I was happy to update the article...but since you said to let you know, I thought I'd wait for your approval. MessiIsMyBezzie (talk) 17:52, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
:::Hi Tessaract2, Thanks for the response! I was not aware of WP:ABOUTSELF ↗, so I really appreciate you notifying me of that. I will make sure to attach references in future before I publish my edits. Warm regards, MessiIsMyBezzie (talk) 17:51, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
::{{tpw}} {{tq|How can I stop my edits using the visual editor within infoboxes from amending the whitespace that is useful for people source-editing?}} I don't think there's a way, unfortunately. {{tq|copying the space from the revision summary}} I wouldn't bother. I try to not to intentionally mess with whitespace unless it's completely weird but if I happen to use the Visual Editor and it removes the whitespace I accept that. Whitespace isn't a big deal and there is no project-wide consensus that I know of. Robby.is.on (talk) 19:06, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
:::Hi @Robby.is.on, thank you for introducing me to the wikistalkustalkus, I'm a big fan. I think the best way will be simply to make any edits to the infobox via the source editor, and then switch back to visual for (mostly) everything else. Thanks for your help :) MessiIsMyBezzie (talk) 19:11, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
::::You're welcome. ;-) Yeah, I usually use the Source Editor as well. Happy editing, Robby.is.on (talk) 19:15, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
