License tagging for File:As Above, So Below Poster.jpg
Thanks for uploading :File:As Above, So Below Poster.jpg ↗. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags ↗ to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list ↗, click on this link ↗, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions ↗. Thank you for your cooperation.<!-- User:OrphanBot/untagged-new --> --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:05, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:The Ten Commandments (2007 film) DVD.jpg
64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thanks for uploading or contributing to ''':File:The Ten Commandments (2007 film) DVD.jpg ↗'''. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria ↗, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page ↗, and edit it to include a non-free rationale ↗.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions ↗" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion ↗ and ask for a chance to fix the problem.<!-- Template:You can request undeletion --> If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page ↗. Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Mugman ↗

A tag has been placed on :Mugman ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable ↗.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. <!-- Template:Db-notability-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> Thine Antique Pen (talk) 21:56, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Universal Studios Hollywood.png
64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading ''':File:Universal Studios Hollywood.png ↗'''. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright ↗ status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page ↗.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion ↗ and ask for a chance to fix the problem.<!-- Template:You can request undeletion -->
Please refer to the '''image use policy ↗''' to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :File:Despicable Me 3 (2017) logo.png ↗
48px|left|alt=|link= ↗
A tag has been placed on :File:Despicable Me 3 (2017) logo.png ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the image '''is an unused redundant copy''' (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
<!-- Template:Db-redundantimage-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> Ramaksoud2000 ('''Talk to me''') 21:44, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Motiongate Dubai ↗

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. Why did you add five cast members to the infobox of Despicable Me 3?
I know that the infobox is supposed to only have the "Top billed" cast members for a film. Previously, it had listed only 3 characters: Gru, Lucy, and Brat. But then you added 5 more voice actors to the list. Why did you add those 5?

Wikipedia and copyright
30px|link=|alt=Control copyright icon ↗ Hello MinionsFan1998, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to :Motiongate Dubai ↗ have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission ↗ from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a ''small'' amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation mark ↗s (") and cite the source using an inline citation ↗. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗ in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners ↗, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information ''in your own words and structure'', in proper paraphrase ↗. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems ↗, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing ↗. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue ↗.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify ↗ information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research ↗.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights ↗. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste ↗.
- If ''you'' own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you ''may'' be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗.
- In ''very rare cases'' (that is, for sources that are public domain ↗ or compatibly licensed ↗), it ''may'' be possible to include greater portions of a source text. ''However'', please seek help at the help desk ↗ before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources ''may not'' be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you ''do'' confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism ↗ for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked ↗ from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. <!--Template:uw-copyright-new--> — Diannaa <span style="color:red">🍁</span> (talk) 14:20, 1 September 2017 (UTC)

Hello, MinionsFan1998. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation ↗ submission or Draft ↗ page you started, "The Boss Baby 2 ↗".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace ↗, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link ↗. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

left|25px|alt= ↗Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to :Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing ↗. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution ↗, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Unexplained deletions
Hi, in this edit ↗ you reverted additions to List of animated feature films of the 2020s ↗ by an anon editor, merely stating "restored revision by Gellerman ↗". You may have had a good reason for removing those additions, but they appeared to be supported by citations from acceptable sources, so it would have been much better to state an explanation for their removal, not least because of WP:DONTBITE ↗. – Fayenatic '''<span style="color:#FF0000;">L</span>'''ondon 11:06, 10 October 2022 (UTC)

Regarding my edit here ↗, please see my explanation at User:Erik/Best practices#First sentences about films. Erik (talk | contrib ↗) (ping me ↗) 12:55, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
There is also no need for a very long sentence about two separate elements. A lot of names are being thrown at the reader if it is all one sentence. Better to break it up into two. Erik (talk | contrib ↗) (ping me ↗) 12:58, 12 October 2022 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Computeropolisposterupdated.png
64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thanks for uploading ''':File:Computeropolisposterupdated.png ↗'''. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA ↗ or another acceptable free license (see this list ↗) '''at the site of the original publication'''; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to '''permissions-en@wikimedia.org''', stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here ↗. If you take this step, add {{tl|permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to '''permissions-en@wikimedia.org'''.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗, use a tag such as {{tl|non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use ↗, and add a rationale ↗ justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags ↗ for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads ↗. '''Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged''', as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy ↗. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page ↗. The edit summary field looks like this:

Invitation to participate in a research
Hello,
The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this '''anonymous survey ↗'''.
You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.
The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page ↗ and view its privacy statement ↗ .
Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.
Kind Regards,

Proposed deletion ↗ of :File:Universal Animation logo.png ↗

<blockquote>'''Can't find evidence that this logo is used by Universal Animation Studios ↗. Since their common logo ↗ is available in the public domain, I'm not sure there's a realistic encyclopedic use for this one.'''</blockquote>
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the file's talk page ↗.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. Please undo your edit on List of DreamWorks Animation productions
@MinionsFan1998 please undo your latest edit on List of DreamWorks Animation productions ↗ where you listed Chris Meledandri as a producer for the Donkey spinoff, since there is no source mentioning him as a producer. Only Rebecca Huntley is listed as a producer in the trade publications which announced the spinoff's title and release date.
Just like he didn't produce the Puss in Boots spinoffs, he will likely not produce that one either. If he is, that can be added later but for now there is no confirmation he is producing it Kala7992 (talk) 21:40, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

:So instead of cooperating, you resort to this? We've been at this for five days, and there's no excuse for you to go to an innocent editor. I tried speaking to you directly, and you gave no meaningful back-and-forth; you just backed down vaguely. I tried discussing this with you and everyone on the article’s talk page, yet you ignored it, still making edits. I gave this whole situation a break until I could come back with my revision, as well as your contributions/ideas. The ''Not Alone'' draft isn't your page to gatekeep, and there's no reason to hold it up to the standards of an unrelated article. My messaging you might result in me getting in trouble, and that’s the thing; this causes problems for us all instead of cooperating. DryveKyngSy (talk) 04:13, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
