Rudolf Värnlund ↗ moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Rudolf Värnlund ↗, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable ↗, independent sources ↗. <small>(? ↗)</small> Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability ↗ is of central importance ↗ on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace ↗ (with a prefix of "<code>Draft:</code>" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline ↗ and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Copying within Wikipedia
Thanks for identifying the source of the material in your edit ↗.
This type of edit does get picked up by Copy Patrol ↗ and a good edit summary helps to make sure we don't accidentally revert it. However, for future use, would you note the best practices wording as outlined at Wikipedia:Copying_within_Wikipedia ↗? In particular, adding the phrase "see that page's history for attribution" helps ensure that proper attribution is preserved.<span style="color:#000E2F;padding:0 4px;font-family: Copperplate Gothic Light">S Philbrick</span><span style=";padding:0 4px;color:# 000;font-family: Copperplate Gothic Light">(Talk)</span> 11:44, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Swedish literature ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Dwarf ↗ ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/Swedish_literature check to confirm] | [//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/Swedish_literature?client=notify fix with Dab solver]). Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>

Copyright issue re quoted material and
This edit ↗ prompted a conversation with Wikipedia's leading editor on copyright issues.
Unfortunately, she confirmed what I've always suspected — while short quotations, properly marked and attributed our acceptable use of otherwise copyrighted text, what constitutes "short" is not well defined. Here is the discussion:
User_talk:Diannaa#How_to_handle_long_quotes ↗
While identifying a cut off length isn't well-defined she's an agreement that your edit is far too long. The brute force solution is simply to revert your edit. Diannaa discusses other options which are far more work. I'm going to take a simple solution and ask you to address it. Happy to discuss if you want but it's my personal view that quotations should be as short as possible. <span style="color:#000E2F;padding:0 4px;font-family: Copperplate Gothic Light">S Philbrick</span><span style=";padding:0 4px;color:# 000;font-family: Copperplate Gothic Light">(Talk)</span> 13:51, 18 December 2024 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from :Poet laureate ↗ into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content (here or elsewhere), Wikipedia's licensing ↗ does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{tl|copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also.
