:This message is not among the most helpful I have ever received, {{U|Fade258}}. What I created was a redirect to Copthorne Preparatory School ↗, and it seems that redirect was then turned into a shadow of a page. Anyway, I have now redirected it again, merging what little content there was. Moonraker (talk) 18:39, 1 January 2026 (UTC)
::Hi @Moonraker, Apologies for the inconvenience. I didnot get a option to choose an exact editor to whom the message is need to be delivered. Can you please tell me in short what brings you that the message is not helpful to you ? Fade258 (talk) 02:21, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
:::Hello, {{U|Fade258}}. The main points are that I had not created such a page and that there was no point in anyone working to improve it. Moonraker (talk) 02:26, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
::::@Moonraker. Thanks for the clarification. I will take care of this from onwards. Thank you ! Fade258 (talk) 02:28, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

BBC West Online - request for interview discussing Wiki project Wiltshire
Dear Moonraker,
I hope all's well with you.
I was wondering if you are still involved in creating/editing Wikipedia pages?
If you are, would you be willing/available for a short pre-recorded interview in the next couple of days/next week to discuss what it's like be a local Wikipedia contributor and how important it is to have pages with local significance?
If that sounds like something you'd be interested in doing, please let me know.
Best wishes,
BBC West Online team Wiltshirewombler (talk) 14:46, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
:Yes, I am still here, {{U|Wiltshirewombler}}. Sorry, this is not for me, and I don't know of any Wiltshire editors who would have a go. But let me just ping {{U|Rodw}}, from a bit nearer to Bristol, he might be willing. Failing that, Wikipedia:WikiProject Somerset ↗ is much more active than Wiltshire, you could try asking on its Talk page. Also, I believe Wikimedia has a press office, that might be able to help. Moonraker (talk) 18:16, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
::Hi Moonraker, many thanks for getting back to me and for your suggestions. I completely understand - I will try the WikiProject Somerset page and the Wikimedia press office and if Rodw is willing/available, please do let me know. Best wishes, BBC West Online team ~2026-31984-8 ↗ (talk) 17:09, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

:Rodw is a Wikimedia trustee and has contacts. More thoughts, {{U|Wiltshirewombler}}, let's also ask {{U|Wire723}} and {{U|Shaun Sheep}} if they might pick up the gauntlet. Moonraker (talk) 18:24, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
::I am no longer a Wikimedia Uk trustee (having served my term) and I no longer live in Somerset (now in Glos). Can you give a bit more info about what you are looking for?— Rod talk 20:39, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
::Similar to Rod I have now moved and I'm no longer in Wiltshire so haven't contributed to the Wiltshire Wiki Project for a while. I have been interviewed by BBC Wiltshire before about listed buildings but I can no longer just pop into their studio in Swindon. Sorry can’t help on this one.'''<code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>''' Shaun Sheep (talk) 08:53, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
:::Hi {{U|Rodw}} - we are looking for Wikipedia volunteers, whether writers or editors, for a piece about the importance of local Wikipedia pages/the promotion of local knowledge - with a link to the anniversary. Best wishes, BBC West Online team ~2026-31984-8 ↗ (talk) 17:42, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Destubathon of the Americas ↗
You are invited to participate in the '''Destubathon of the Americas ↗''', a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to £2000 ($2680) in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ <span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#aba67e">''Dr. Blofeld''</span> 17:19, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
Peter Wyngarde article
Hi. You might want to look at this edit https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Peter_Wyngarde&diff=prev&oldid=1359979712 as I think they may have removed quite a bit of sourced content that I think you may have added from looking at the article edit history. Rocksymusic (talk) 01:42, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
:Many thanks, {{U|Rocksymusic}}. I have not been keeping a close eye on it, as the rather bitter warring seemed to have died out. Do please keep me posted if it goes on. Moonraker (talk) 03:12, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
