Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time.<nowiki> </nowiki>The reason left by RandomCanadian was:

{{divbox|gray|3=Submission is not of the standard one would expect from an encyclopedia entry (even a bare minimum stub article). There are many obvious errors (for example, the use of the term "movement" is incorrect), nonsense (how is "Fuga II is noted as the only published piece of Chopin's work that doesn't have an octave doubling in it" when this is a work by Mendelssohn?), misrepresentation of sources (source no. 2 does not mention "discipline", nor even the subject of this article), shoddy writing (the whole of the lead), and a lack of actual encyclopedic content beyond a mere listing of the pieces.

IMSLP is not a reliable source, as it is user-generated content ↗. Individual editions there may be used as primary sources, with the usual caution of WP:PRIMARY ↗, but the rest of the information it contains should be traced back to more reputable sources if possible.

The master's thesis is at best a dubious source (given the usual concerns, see the relevant paragraph at WP:SCHOLARSHIP ↗) given it does not seem to have had any significant impact (no citations on google scholar; nor does the author seem to be an influential figure). A good idea might be to look at the sources cited in the thesis, to see if these discuss these pieces in sufficient detail.

Allmusic is just a database and should be replaced with more serious scholarly works if at all possible.

Looking in databases like RILM or repositories like JSTOR might be more productive.|}}<!--

Your draft article, Draft:American chess journal ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

Hello, MrMeAndMrMe. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation ↗ submission or draft ↗ page you started, "American chess journal ↗".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace ↗, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply {{edit|Draft:American chess journal|edit the submission}} and remove the {{tlc|db-afc}}, {{tlc|db-draft}}, or {{tlc|db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link ↗. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Jan Strand

Earlier this year, you undid an edit ↗ on Jan Strnad ↗ by an editor who was purporting to be the subject... and was. It's an understandable instinct, due to lack of reference, COI concerns, and uncertainty whether it was really the subject posting. However, in reverting the edit due to a concern over unsourced BLP material, you managed to reinsert a birth date that was not only unsourced, but also according to the subject, inaccurate. (You can see him noting the inaccuracy in the comments under this Facebook post ↗.) Could you kindly review your reversion, and either restore the date he put or, better yet, remove the birth date altogether until a source can be found? (I'd take care of it myself, but I'm trying to maintain a retirement from article editing.) --Nat Gertler (talk) 04:33, 22 August 2022 (UTC)

:@NatGertler yes, I can do this tomorrow morning. thank you for the notice and have a good day or night. 96.3.81.73 ↗ (talk) 04:51, 22 August 2022 (UTC)

::Glad to hear it! Thanks! --Nat Gertler (talk) 14:10, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
:@NatGertler alright, looks like it's been done. I haven't found any other reliable sources, however according to some essay or guideline that I forgot the name of, if he says something untrivial such as a birth year it is probably reliable. <span style="border-radius:9em;padding:2px;background-color:darkgreen;"><span style="color:#FFF;">'''MrMe<i>And</i>MrMe'''</span></span><span style="color:darkblue;">'''Let's talk'''</span> 15:17, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

Intermediate Geographic Region of Porto Velho ↗ moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Intermediate Geographic Region of Porto Velho ↗, is not suitable as written to remain published. The single link does not corroborate the information in the article, it is a link to a database, rather than to specific sourcing about the entity. I've moved your draft, along with the other microstubs you created similarly sourced, to draftspace ↗ (with a prefix of "<code>Draft:</code>" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline ↗ and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. 20px ↗ Featured script

:Very useful for changelist patrollers, '''DiffUndo''', by '''Nardog''', is this edition's featured script. Taking inspiration from WP:AutoWikiBrowser ↗'s double-click-to-undo feature, it adds an undo button to every line of every diff from "show changes", optimizing partial reverts with your favorite magic spell and nearly fulfilling m:Community Wishlist/Wishes/Partial revert undo ↗.

Hello everyone, and welcome to the 27th issue of the Wikipedia Scripts++ Newsletter ↗, covering all our favorite new and updated user scripts since 2025! Boy, does it feel good to kick off the year with an issue. Yep, it's been a year since we cleared out the 2022-2024 backlog with issues 23 and 24! : '''WikiTextExpander''' by '''Polygnotus ↗''', is this edition's featured script. At the click of a configurable hotkey, this script will find and replace or link a configurable list of phrases within the selected text in all source editors (even in the comment/reply field!). Besides allowing the quick insertion of templated messages, this script greatly mitigates the WP:WTF? ↗ problem by providing both the legibility of familiar words and the convenience of shortcuts. And to those asking, the capitalization of "Wikitext ↗" as "WikiText" was a necessary sacrifice for far-more-memorable acronymy.

No, this is not going to be the enduring tradition of S++ for the future. This was meant to be a joke for the special occasion on the first day of the fourth month but was delayed by four months because I'm lazy.
