East Wall and Fermoy protests

Hi. I've done some copy-editing on the above article. A couple of things: 1) references should go after punctuation, ideally at the end of a sentence, and should never be added to the middle of a sentence. 2) While admittedly I don't know if there's a policy on this, and I haven't looked yet, I've removed your addition of the coordinates, to the sixth decimal place(!), for the location of the accommodation being provided in East Wall and Fermoy. Given that anticipated Direct Provision accommodation has an odd habit of going on fire, I think this is just prudent. 3) Lastly, you've stated that the National Party were involved in the protests. The reference used doesn't mention them at all. Is there a supporting reference, or should that be removed. The article also mentioned Ben Gilroy as being associated with them, which I've not seen referenced anywhere before. <span style="font-family:Verdana, sans-serif">Bastun</span>Ėġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! ↗ 17:42, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

:My references are definetely a bit of a mess and I have the time to clear them up now, so I'll get right on it. I was mainly focusing on getting the articles out during the protests but I checked that the info was in the citations, <s>especially on the living persons</s>. I just copied the coordinates straight out of a pinpoint on Google Maps!
:I usually do the scrutinising of others' additions but it is totally different writing an actual article and I'd need way more time to do both alone, so thanks for helping! (it's not like it's "my" article or anything, I am just thankful for your contribution) - <span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';">Mullafacation</span> &#123;talk page ↗&#124;user page&#125; 18:53, 10 December 2022 (UTC)

::Yup, 90% of my own contributions are copy-edits - I've only ever started a handful of articles. It's a totally different ballgame! <span style="font-family:Verdana, sans-serif">Bastun</span><sup>Ėġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! ↗</sup> 19:10, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
::{{Done|note= Everything should be cited now. The specific article mentioning the National Party is [<ref name=":nparty">{{cite news|url=https://www.sundayworld.com/news/irish-news/east-wall-protesters-say-its-a-culture-war-as-they-lash-out-at-tampons-in-male-toilets/35213987.html|title=Losing their tampers: East Wall protesters say it's a 'culture war' as they lash out at tampons in male toilets|last=Sherry|first=Alan|publisher=Sunday World ↗|date=27 November 2022|access-date=9 December 2022}}</ref>] which was added by Bastun (see revision ↗)}} – <span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';">Mullafacation {◌͜◌ talk}</span> 19:55, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

Text-based logo on Wikipedia can be hosted on Wikimedia Commons under a Public Domain license, and don't have to be downscaled

Hi Mullafacation,<br>
Just letting you know that files such as :File:RTÉ News at One logo.png ↗, :File:World Report logo.webp ↗, and :File:Pond5 logo.svg ↗ could all be uploaded to Wikipedia or preferably Wikimedia Commons under a Template:PD-textlogo ↗ license. The advantage of a PD-textlogo license is that anyone is free to use them (as long as they don't infringe trademarks), they don't have to be downscaled, and on Wikipedia these files can be used in multiple articles instead of just one. WP:TEXTLOGO ↗ explains this a little bit more.

Textlogo files, more or less, have to be logos that consist only of lettering and/or a geometric shape(s). An example of a geometric shape would be like a box, rectangle, or star.

Fair play for uploading what you have so far, and this is just a tip for the future in case you upload more logos. CeltBrowne (talk) 01:53, 5 October 2023 (UTC)

:Thanks! I've seen that notice before but never thought to use it. I didn't know Commons took trademarked logos but I will definitely upload logos there from now with that template. – <span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';">Mullafacation {◌͜◌ talk}</span> 15:47, 5 October 2023 (UTC)

I have sent you an e-mail

@Mullafacation Hi dear Mullafacation! I have sent you an e-mail. Can you view my request and accomplish it? Thanks AngeloFlavio93 (talk) 09:38, 13 February 2025 (UTC)

:Hi. I actually saw your emails but at the time it looked like your account didn't exist or something so I didn't think I could respond. I have time to start the article now so I'll do that. Unfortunately most Irish people are not native speakers ↗ but most of us learn it in school so I'll give it a shot.
:{{strong|If you do want to request more articles, you should ask over at Requested articles ↗.}} You can use the languages button ↗ on that page to select another language Wikipedia. (in this case, you would have selected Gaeilge and it would have brought you to Vicipéid:Ailt iarrtha ↗). This way, you shouldn't get locked for spamming again. You might get locked from emailing people too if people think you're “spamming” ↗ so I suggest not doing it that way. If that's good with you, you can even ask @Bsadowski1 to unblock you.
:I hope that works out for you. {{smiley}} – Mullafacation『talk』 17:51, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
::@Mullafacation Hi dear Mullafacation! Ok. Thank you so much for accepting my request regarding these articles. Kind regards, Flavio AngeloFlavio93 (talk) 20:40, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
:::@Mullafacation Hi dear Mullafacation. Please can you start creating the articles now? Thanks AngeloFlavio93 (talk) 16:07, 14 February 2025 (UTC)
::::Yeah, I'm actually doing the Albanian lek article right now. I don't know much about currency and finance so I'm making sure I am using the right terminology (e.g. I just found out the difference between "pegged ↗" and "at par ↗") and apparently there's {{em|four}} ways to say "to be" in Irish ↗. So this is quite challenging for me but I'm making progress. – Mullafacation『talk』 16:19, 14 February 2025 (UTC)

Hey, sorry, I didn't realize you were trying to ask if sources for covering this on Wikipedia. If there are, it would probably be better on Death of Jeffrey Epstein ↗, but that article is a bit of a mess. Zenomonoz (talk) 11:25, 14 April 2026 (UTC)

:The best sources on it are WP:MREL ↗ churnalist stuff and even they don't come to any conclusions so it's probably best to keep the video's caption as it is and not to include it elsewhere. – Mullafacation『talk』 12:50, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
::Yeah I think so. Zenomonoz (talk) 22:54, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
