A tag has been placed on :Centro Sportivo Italiano ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate ↗ how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". An extended welcome

Hi Nabulowa. Welcome to Wikipedia. I've added a welcome message to the top of this page that gives a great deal of information about Wikipedia. I hope you find it useful.

Additionally, I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy ↗ requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy ↗, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter.

Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions ↗ that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines ↗.

I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 17:31, 28 October 2018 (UTC)

Mirrors

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thanks for contributing to the article Ayothaya (town) ↗. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable ↗ and attributed to reliable sources ↗. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored ↗, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference ↗ and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! Nauheed Cyrusi

It should be noted that it appears that Nauheed Cyrusi going to Dundonald High School appears to be some kind of elaborate hoax. In searching through it seems clear she went to J B Vacha school in Mumbai, her hometown, based on reliable sources, and attended Jaihind College also in Mumbai to do a commerce degree. There appears to be no evidence that she's ever been to Northern Ireland, never mind lived there and studied there. It's possible there are two people with the same name and it looks like some sources have mixed the two up, however most sources out there for Dundonald High School and being from Belfast appear to be mirrors of Wikipedia or sourced from older versions of her Wikipedia article based on their wording. All in all there appears to be some elaborate hoax around it. Evidence all points to it being impossible for her to have attended Dundonald High School and Queen's University based on the points in her career making TV and Film in India at those times. So unless you can find an extremely reliable source, please don't add this back in. Thank you. <b style="color: Blue;">Canterbury Tail</b> <i style="color: Blue;">talk</i> 19:56, 7 April 2019 (UTC)

Unreliable sources, references that don't support the points

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. However, do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable ↗ through reliable sources ↗, preferably using inline citations ↗. Thanks! P.S. If you need further help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia ↗, or ask at the Teahouse ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-unreliable -->

Additionally please ensure that your references actually support the points that are being referenced. I've now seem multiple references from yourself that just mention the article subject, but provide no support at all to the point trying to be referenced. I.e. a link to a map to reference they have white beaches and a popular snorkelling spot. A link to a news article mentioning a person's wedding to support they went to a high school that is not mentioned in any way in the article. I also notice that other editors have remove your edits for similarly being non-suitable references. Please read the links above to improve how you reference information as much of the edits you are currently doing are not supporting what you're claiming they are. <b style="color: Blue;">Canterbury Tail</b> <i style="color: Blue;">talk</i> 20:21, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

:Over six years later, this still applies. You've repeatedly added references that don't actually reference the text you are adding them next to. This isn't improving the encyclopedia, as the text needs to match the reference(s). FDW777 (talk) 16:26, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
::I have made sure this is the case, can you point any at all out so I can adjust? Nabulowa (talk) 16:28, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
:::Sure. For example here ↗ you added a reference that didn't mention the UVF, loyalists, Ireland, Armscor or the Palestine Liberation Organisation. Simiarly here ↗ you added a reference the sentence reading {{tq|On 2 February 1992, he and the rest of his unit, James Hughes, Conor O'Neill and Noel Magee, met at a safe house in Ballyshannon, County Donegal ↗ to make final arrangement for an operation which was to take place later in the following week}}. However what the reference ↗ says is {{tq|On Monday 3 February 1992, Joe MacManus and his three PIRA companions – James Hughes, Conor O’Neil and Noel Magee – crossed the border in the townland of Scardens Upper, a remote area just off a narrow road that meandered through the scrubland and hills of northwest Fermanagh}}. So, at least as far as my understanding is concerned, this meeting is in a different location, on a different date and isn't actually a meeting to plan the operation but is actually the operation. While it's good that you're adding references, if they don't match the text it's just causing problems not solving them. FDW777 (talk) 17:08, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
::::Sorry there might be a problem when generating references as I've picked up on it before. I'll go back and change things that need changes if needed. I'll be sure to make sure to check so it's not disorganized and chaotic, left for people like yourself to pick up on it. Never my intention, only to actually help out. Northern Ireland

I appreciate you creating articles, that's a great job. Just be aware however that Northern Ireland didn't exist prior to 1921, it was just Ireland previously. So people who were born and lived prior to that can't be from Northern Ireland, but from Ireland. Thanks. <b style="color: Blue;">Canterbury Tail</b> <i style="color: Blue;">talk</i> 21:44, 21 November 2024 (UTC)

:@Canterbury Tail ah, I assumed that it would only apply due to looking at it from present. apologies. also, will I change the categories that include northern Ireland, and change to Ireland? Nabulowa (talk) 21:51, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
::I've made alterations to the article to change them to Ireland that you've created today. You can review the changes to see what I did. Articles should use country names as they existed then. I.e. Someone born in Bangkok in 1921 would be born in Bangkok, Siam, not Bangkok, Thailand. <b style="color: Blue;">Canterbury Tail</b> <i style="color: Blue;">talk</i> 21:53, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
:::@Canterbury Tail Thanks for the info, and I really appreciate you doing that. so would I be correct in saying that if the individual being referred to in northern Ireland will only commence after the formation, even if I'm mentioning both in the same article. for example, being born in Belfast, Ireland, 1900. and establishing a business in 1925, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Nabulowa (talk) 21:58, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
::::Yes that is correct. Don't take this as a criticism, just as an information update. Other than that, keep up the good work. <b style="color: Blue;">Canterbury Tail</b> <i style="color: Blue;">talk</i> 22:59, 21 November 2024 (UTC)

Mass MOS:DABACRO violations

Please stop {{em|immediately}} adding entries to initialism disambiguation pages that violate WP:DABACRO ↗, like this one ↗. Thanks to you, I now have to check hundreds of your contributions.

For an initalism to be listed at a disambiguation page, it must not only be {{em|mentioned}} at the target, these mentions also must be {{em|verifiable}}. Note that the example given at DABACRO has three references that are using the initalism right in their title: {{slink|Scandinavian School of Brussels|References}}.

(don't ping me when you reply, I'm watching) <span style="display:inline-block;position:relative;transform:rotate(-3deg);bottom:-.1em;">Paradoctor ↗</span> (talk ↗) 16:42, 27 February 2025 (UTC)

:Hi there, i'm sorry about this, the league's however are often abbreviated, I assumed there wouldn't be an issue. The same goes for football clubs. I obviously knew not to add people's names to these initialism disambiguation pages.
:Please allow me to reevaluate and have a look over these edits, you do not have to. Nabulowa (talk) 17:05, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
::Ok, I'll keep an eye out.
::{{tq|I assumed there wouldn't be an issue}}: The most important rule for adding content is WP:V ↗: {{tq|Even if you are sure something is true, it must have been previously published in a reliable source before you can add it.}} It's what you can show, not just what you know. An extreme example of this is WP:BFDI ↗.
::See you around. <span style="display:inline-block;position:relative;transform:rotate(-3deg);bottom:-.1em;">Paradoctor ↗</span> (talk ↗) 17:11, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
:::Okay, no problem, so basically to keep the initialism, I could go onto the original article and provide a source with the acronym to keep the article and that would be fine. I may take a short break to go ahead with this.
:::Kindest regardeth Nabulowa (talk) 17:20, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
:::Also thank god you pointed this out when you did, I was planning on doing this for football division on <nowiki>List of association football competitions ↗</nowiki>
:::If a source mentions the acronym is that okay? I know you said it must be mentioned in the target, I don't know what this means, soory
:::Toodaloo Nabulowa (talk) 17:24, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
::::The "target" is the article the dab entry links to. That article must mention the initialism. Typically, this is done by placing it in parentheses right after the first use of the term it stands for.
::::Again the DABACRO example: {{tq|'''Scandinavian School of Brussels''' ('''SSB'''; Finnish ↗: '''''Brysselin Skandinaavinen koulu''''', French ↗: '''''École Reine Astrid''''')}}.
::::It can also be done in prose, like at Jamaica Premier League ↗: {{tq|The '''Jamaica''' '''Premier League''' (formerly the National Premier League), commonly abbreviated as '''JPL'''}}.
::::I noticed that you created a number of redirects. The same basic principle applies here: the redirected name must be mentioned and verifiable. To get rid of any of these, you need to delete them. As you have created them, there is no need to go through WP:RfD ↗, you can just speedy them using WP:CSD#G7 ↗.
::::Pro tip: WP:Twinkle ↗ is your friend. ;) <span style="display:inline-block;position:relative;transform:rotate(-3deg);bottom:-.1em;">Paradoctor ↗</span> (talk ↗) 17:42, 27 February 2025 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Kircubbin F.C. ↗

Hello Nabulowa, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Kircubbin F.C. ↗, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kircubbin F.C. ↗.

Deletion discussions ↗ usually run for seven days and are ''not'' votes. Our guide ↗ about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability ↗, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Uncle Bash007<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. And don't forget to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> . Thanks!

This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully and constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

<p><strong>Additionally, you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.</strong></p><p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics <em>procedures</em>, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template. </p>}}<!-- Derived from Template:Contentious topics/alert/first --> FDW777 (talk) 17:52, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

:@Cosmic840 I was not aware that lyrics were involved with copyright. but what I will say, is that this song was written over 100 years ago and the lyricist is unknown, it's just a folk ballad that was sung throughout Ulster bad then was covered. does this change anything? Ulster English ↗

Hi, in your edit here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ulster_English&diff=prev&oldid=1354267909 ↗ one of the references you have added is to a google search error page. I assume you meant to link to an actual google search instead; if that's true I don't imagine that would be considered to be a good source for a whole variety of reasons but partly because of the inherently mutable nature of search results. If you could look at your edit and provide a different source I would appreciate it. Morwen (talk) 13:14, 15 May 2026 (UTC)

:hi @Morwen, thank you for picking up on this and notifying me, I will make amends, if it's no use, I'll remove it completely. Nabulowa (talk) 13:33, 15 May 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to :Orange Order ↗. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on either '''strong''' national ties to the topic ↗ or if the topic is tied to an armed forces ↗. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page ↗.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place <code>{{t|helpme}}</code> on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-date --> Denisarona (talk) 11:02, 8 July 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, Nabulowa, I'm Bearcat. Please note that pages in your personal sandbox, such as User:Nabulowa/sandbox, are '''not''' allowed to be categorized alongside finished articles in mainspace, per WP:USERNOCAT ↗. The page ''must'' stay ''out'' of any categories so long as it is outside mainspace, and this is ''not'' an optional rule that you're free to disregard or ignore.

You can provisionally list categories in your draft without affecting content categories by using one of the methods described here ↗.

As the page has had to be pulled out of categories twice in the past week, ''do not'' readd it to categories again, because draft and sandbox pages are not allowed to be in content categories. Note as well that there can be consequences for disruption ↗ if it doesn't stop, such as page protection ↗ or deletion ↗ and/or the temporary or permanent suspension ↗ of your editing privileges.<!-- Template:Uw-draftnocat --> Bearcat (talk) 06:44, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
