Taking this to your talk because it would be off-topic for AN/I but, yeah, so what happened is that 14 were convicted, 11 were executed and 3 were released or given amnesties between 1956 and 1960. Stalin died in 1953 and Khruschev was not a fan of Stalin, with many Stalinist political actions being walked back, especially after the "secret speech" of 1956 (note the line-up in the dates.)

I can honestly see why there's a tendency to want to say, "oh no, these guys were innocent" given the context. It's just that Wikipedia needs a stronger basis than a single (respected) historian to say that in wikivoice. I actually went and edited the lead, taking out the "for crimes they didn't commit" but adding in that the consensus of historians was that this was an example of antisemitism in the Soviet Bloc (supported by most of the article sources). ::Thanks for the explanation. Can't even blame Americans for that given the Red Scare ↗ stuff. Regarding the rehabilitation, that really needs more sources. Calling gulags concentration camps is very well cited and their edits on the Juche page were just... real bad. I do like to remind the more staunchly anti-communist editors that anti-communism is non-neutral when discussing the history of the Soviet Union but I wouldn't really want to take it farther than that. The issue is that said user also doesn't seem to be the original photographer because if you look at the image that started my research rabbit hole, you'll notice that the image looks like a photo of a photo from a printed source (it has the typical lines that you see in images in print media).
