File source and copyright licensing problem with File:NinjaTazzyDevil.jpeg

64px|left|File Copyright problem ↗
Thanks for uploading ''':File:NinjaTazzyDevil.jpeg ↗'''. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright ↗ status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{Tl|GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL ↗. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗, use a tag such as {{tlp|non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use ↗. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags ↗ for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link ↗. '''Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged''', as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license ↗ (per Wikipedia:Fair use ↗) then '''the file will be deleted 48 hours ↗ after 06:17, 8 February 2010 (UTC)'''. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-no source-notice --> ww2censor (talk) 06:17, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:NinjaTazzyDevil.jpeg

64px|left ↗
Thanks for uploading ''':File:NinjaTazzyDevil.jpeg ↗'''. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to '''{{NoSpamEmail|permissions-en|wikimedia.org}}'''.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗, use a tag such as {{tlp|non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use ↗, and add a rationale ↗ justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags ↗ for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link ↗. '''Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged''', as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :File:Green Lantern 2011 poster.jpg ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

A tag has been placed on :File:Green Lantern 2011 poster.jpg ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{tlc|hang on}} to '''the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion ↗''' (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on '''the talk page ↗''' explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for ''speedy'' deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. <!-- Template:Db-redundantimage-notice --> TriiipleThreat (talk) 22:07, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Images

Hi NinjaTazzyDevil! Can you be sure that when you add images to articles (at least film articles) like this ↗ that you go and check on the talk page to make sure it is no longer requesting images like this ↗? It'll save a lot of work overtime. Thanks! <small>BOVINEBOY</small>2008 17:10, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

Image tagging for File:Australian 1 dollar coin - Fred Hollows.jpg

Thanks for uploading ''':File:Australian 1 dollar coin - Fred Hollows.jpg ↗'''. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link ↗, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions ↗.

License tagging for File:The Food Wife.png

Thanks for uploading :File:The Food Wife.png ↗. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags ↗ to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list ↗, click on this link ↗, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. Please be aware

Hello and thank you for your work here at WikiP. Please be aware that edits like this one http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ian_McKellen&diff=prev&oldid=476100558 ↗ are placing the rowspan command at the wrong spot in the filmography tables. It is only used on the year line to allow "x" number of films to be entered in the same year. In some cases you are breaking the table to the point that it can't be read. If you have questions regarding items like this you can get answers at the various wikiproject talk pages or at the Wikipedia:Help desk ↗. Your help in this will be appreciated. Cheers. Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :File:Back to the Future logo.png ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

A tag has been placed on :File:Back to the Future logo.png ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content ↗. http://mail.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikien-l/2005-May/023760.html ↗, and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions ↗ then:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here ↗. <!-- Template:Db-noncom-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> <small><small><span style="border:1px solid black; background-color: #FF513D; background-image: -ms-radial-gradient(center top, circle farthest-corner, #FFAA3B 0%, #FF0000 100%); background-image: -moz-radial-gradient(center top, circle farthest-corner, #FFAA3B 0%, #FF0000 100%); background-image: -o-radial-gradient(center top, circle farthest-corner, #FFAA3B 0%, #FF0000 100%); background-image: -webkit-gradient(radial, center top, 0, center top, 556, color-stop(0, #FFAA3B), color-stop(1, #FF0000)); background-image: -webkit-radial-gradient(center top, circle farthest-corner, #FFAA3B 0%, #FF0000 100%); background-image: radial-gradient(circle farthest-corner at center top, #FFAA3B 0%, #FF0000 100%);padding:4px;"><b><span style="color:white;">Blurred</span></b> <b><span style="color:white;">Lines</span></b></span></small></small> 20:14, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

Hello, NinjaTazzyDevil. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation ↗ submission or Draft ↗ page you started, "Stephen Madsen ↗".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace ↗, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply {{edit|Draft:Stephen Madsen|edit the submission}} and remove the {{tlc|db-afc}}, {{tlc|db-draft}}, or {{tlc|db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link ↗. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. <!-- Template:Db-draft-notice --><!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> JMHamo (talk) 09:01, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

Hello,

Google Code-In ↗, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page ↗ and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!
