'''Welcome!'''
Eric Gairy, PM of Grenada. Can we confirm that he was overthrown in 1979 while he was out of the country to address the UN about UFOs? He was so bothered by UFOs in the East Caribbean that he wanted the UN to do something about this. I have seen this is cited in some book on UFOs where they refer to him as "President", typical of UFO fans lack of of facts. But I think Hugh O'Shaunassey wrote a book on the Grenada revolution refers to this.
Nigerian Civil War: there is reference to tanks destroyed when the Federal Army tried to cross the River Niger. I don't think that the Nigerian Army had any tanks, and a lack of armed vehicles altogether, which prolonged the war. Essentially it was an infantry war. Is anybody able to confirm that there were tanks to be destroyed?
Also there is reference to Lynn Garrison a foreign mercenary. Where was he from? Source?

Decolonisation
factual error: Eritrea was transferred to Ethiopia 1962
But I have to say that the whole page is full of nonsense: how do you define what is a colony?
For example the French overseas territories have been represented in the French Parliament since 1848, but they are still considered "colonies".
The status of the Ottoman Empire presents a dilema: if a territory is under Turkish rule how do you decide what is part of Turkey and what is "a colony"?
If Egypt is under the rule of Mehmet Ali, an ethnic Albanian how is that different if it is ruled by a Turkish official?
how do you define who is "indigenous" or a colonial ruler?
If Singapore is ruled by an ethnic Chinese is that colonialism?
Rhodesia declared it independence in 1965 under white settler control. They defied the British Government, yet from a black African perspective Rhodesia still represents colonial rule.
Similarly South Africa: are the Boer states decolonisation or an entrenchment of white rule?
In 1934 the Union of South Africa incorporated the 1931 Statute of Westminster so that they were no longer under British rule
yet from a black African perspective that is an entrenchment of white settler rule.

Custom signature fix needed
Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. Changes to Wikipedia's software ↗ have made your current custom signature invalid.
'''The problem:''' Your signature contains a syntax error or obsolete HTML tags.
'''The solutions:''' You can reset your signature to the default, you can fix your signature, or you can do nothing.
<div style="margin-left:1.6em;">
'''Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:'''
# Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences ↗.
# Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "'''Treat the above as wiki markup.'''"
# Remove anything in the {{int:yournick}} text box.
# Click the blue "{{int:Saveprefs}}" button at the bottom of the page. (Do not click the red "{{int:Restoreprefs}}" button, which will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
'''Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:'''
# Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences ↗.
# Click the {{mw button|Learn more|normal}} button next to the error to learn how to fix the error.
# Update your signature to fix the error.
# Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.
'''Solution 3: Do nothing:'''
# In accordance with a recent request for comment ↗, all invalid signatures will be changed to the default ↗, which looks like "Example (talk)", one month from now.</div> If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures ↗.
