Aloy

Hey, do you have any interest in working together again on an FAC, this time for Aloy ↗? It is the next project I am working on, but an extra set of eyes would probably be good to help prep it. If you don't want to commit to a FAC, would you have interest in at least looking over the article and maybe doing a copyedit? -- ZooBlazer 22:10, 18 June 2026 (UTC)

::Aloy and the Machines articles are really the only characters articles I've ever put effort into, so it'll be interesting to see how the FAC process eventually go. I am now slowly working on turning the newly promoted Horizon GT into a FT. :::::Just an FYI that the main Horizon article used The Last of Us ↗ and God of War (franchise) ↗ as sort of templates and they both include info involving parts of individual games, otherwise it makes the series article a bit of a skeleton reception. And the awards paragraph was there to highlight the major awards the games have received similar to how The Last of Us does it. -- ZooBlazer 07:37, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
::::::I think most of our franchise articles don't really talk about reception of individual games that much (see ''Fire Emblem ↗'', ''Halo ↗'', and ''Final Fantasy ↗''). Even if we want to delve into the reception of individual games, it should be formatted more like ''Marvel vs. Capcom ↗'', especially since the spin-offs have vastly different gameplay. Obviously ''Horizon'' is a young franchise, but in the long term it should look more like ''Halo#Legacy ↗'' rather than ''The Last of Us''. It really isn't that sustainable to keep adding to this section when the MMO, the multiplayer game, the third game are released. I think the only awards that matter here in a franchise article are GOTY noms and maybe Best Performance for the cast. OceanHok (talk) 08:32, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
