Maeve Kyle

Hello. I have changed the caption you added to the infobox picture on the Maeve Kyle article as she not only didn't win the 1964 Olympic gold medal but she didn't even make the final. Where did you get such crazy information from? Shrug02 (talk) 16:31, 23 July 2025 (UTC)

:Thanks for the correction. it was from the same page ↗ I got the image from. Perhaps I read the caption wrong. Is the image correct? Regards, <small><span style="background-color:#ffffff;border: 1px solid;">'''<span style="color:#000000; background-color:#EEE8AA">&nbsp;Ohc&nbsp;</span>'''</span></small>''revolution of our times'' 16:35, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
::Yeah the image is her. I just checked the source and the caption is "Maeve Kyle winning the 440yrds in 55.2s August 1964." Doesn't mention the Olympics. It must be from another race that year. Shrug02 (talk) 16:37, 23 July 2025 (UTC)

Links in football players' honours section

Hi there Ohconfucius, hope all is well. When editing player articles, can you please hold off from removing links to specific competitions in honours section as you did with the respective Copa América ↗ medals for Willian ↗ and Luis Díaz ↗ among others? The standard is to link to the specific competition when that article exists, i.e. 2019 ↗ for Willian and 2024 ↗ for Luis Díaz. Thanks! Rupert1904 (talk) 15:11, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

User:Ohconfucius/script/EngvarB.js

Hi Ohconfucius,

I've been using your wonderful script for a few years, and I think that your edit here ↗ may have broken something. I ran it at Tobie Goedewaagen ↗, and it seems to have reverted to a previous version and added a string of nonsense ↗. Is it possible to review the recent edit?&nbsp;—&nbsp;Chris Woodrich (talk) 17:18, 18 June 2026 (UTC)

This edit ↗ has introduced a syntax error. It appears <syntaxhighlight lang="js" line start="27">
]);
});
</syntaxhighlight> is missing. Nardog (talk) 08:31, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

:thanks for spotting this. Regards <small><span style="background-color:#ffffff;border: 1px solid;">'''<span style="color:#000000; background-color:#EEE8AA">&nbsp;Ohc&nbsp;</span>'''</span></small>''revolution of our times'' 13:31, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

Broken headings

Hi, here ↗ the script broke level-four headings, giving two [space] two on each side. Any easy fix?</nowiki> <b style="color:darkgreen">Tony</b> <span style="color:darkgreen">(talk)</span> 08:55, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

:thanks. now fixed <small><span style="background-color:#ffffff;border: 1px solid;">'''<span style="color:#000000; background-color:#EEE8AA">&nbsp;Ohc&nbsp;</span>'''</span></small>''revolution of our times'' 09:55, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

-ment Engvar issues

Hi, I can't see the exact line that's causing it, in your recent changes to the script, but I'm getting some strange suggested corrections to words ending in ''-ment'', when applying British English to an article, eg.: {{difftext|equipment|equilp}} {{difftext|implement|implle}} {{difftext|employment|emploly}} Belbury (talk) 19:30, 3 July 2026 (UTC)

:It should be fixed now. I forgot to mirror my test script. Regards, <small><span style="background-color:#ffffff;border: 1px solid;">'''<span style="color:#000000; background-color:#EEE8AA">&nbsp;Ohc&nbsp;</span>'''</span></small>''revolution of our times'' 19:39, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
::Hmm, I'm still seeing it. Am I reading it right that <code>([a-zA-Z]{3,})([^l])(ful|ment)</code> catches all of the above words and adds an L into them? (I can't fathom why it's putting it after the first match, though, or where the ''ment'' is going.)
::If it's some cacheing issue and my browser's still running a version from before the fix, and you're not seeing this error yourself on these words, then fair enough, I'll let it catch up. Belbury (talk) 19:49, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
:::Yes, that's the line. I finally mirrored it properly. Sorry! <small><span style="background-color:#ffffff;border: 1px solid;">'''<span style="color:#000000; background-color:#EEE8AA">&nbsp;Ohc&nbsp;</span>'''</span></small><sup>''revolution of our times''</sup> 20:00, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
