Edits to Jan_Latham-Koenig page

Hi there, I would like to make an update to the page for Jan_Latham-Koenig, to show that he is now divorced from M Jahangiri and to remove the mention of their son due to the nature of the activities that his father has been involved in. You keep removing my edits and I would like to get this updated. 87.115.225.11 ↗ (talk) 12:02, 5 February 2025 (UTC)

:Hello, please see Help:Referencing for beginners ↗. All articles, particularly articles for biographies of living persons ↗ such as the one in question require strong sources. From the linked page: "All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable, published source. Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—must be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion." Please follow the linked guidelines on adding a verifiable and reliable source. <span style="text-shadow:grey 0.3em 0.3em 0.1em"><big><span style="color:red; font-family='Exotc350 Bd BT';">Alxeedo</span></big> <small><span style="color:black;">TALK</span></small></span> 12:09, 5 February 2025 (UTC)

Edit on CAIR Article

I removed the section, as I don't believe that having a section about the actions of a former employee is appropriate. Also, the section portrays the employee as someone currently employed by CAIR. That is not the case. She was briefly an employee over 5 years ago. What does this have to do with CAIR? Should a description of her antisemitic actions be included in the Wikipedia pages of all of her former employers? This is, in my view, inappropriate. 2600:4040:20AC:2900:15AA:9C77:971C:949B ↗ (talk) 02:56, 14 February 2025 (UTC)

:She was also '''not''' an employee. There is not a single reliable source that confirms that she was employed by CAIR. This is CAIR's response to the allegation: https://www.cair.com/press_releases/fake-news-alert-cair-rebuts-blatant-lies-about-ex-cair-ky-staffer-condemns-hateful-remarks/
:CAIR immediately posted a statement noting that the woman supposedly depicted in the video does not work for CAIR or any of its chapters. Five years have passed since an individual by the same name volunteered with CAIR’s Kentucky chapter in a government affairs role.
:Despite this, various rightwing and anti-Muslim accounts have continued to spread the video and falsely claim that the person depicted works for CAIR and is expressing CAIR’s views.
:In a statement, CAIR said:
:“We strongly condemn this blatant disinformation that anti-Palestinian racists and anti-Muslim bigots have spread online in an attempt to link our civil rights group to this video of a woman making hateful remarks.
:“If the woman recorded in the video is the same person who once worked for CAIR-Kentucky, the truth is that she has not worked with our CAIR-Kentucky chapter in five years. She has no other role at our civil rights group. We condemn and reject the antisemitic comments in the video, as well as the unhinged rants about Daesh.
:“These hateful comments obviously do not represent CAIR, which has vocally condemned both antisemitism and ISIS. In fact, CAIR spoke condemned ISIS’ violence so often that the group put CAIR’s executive director on an apparent hit list.” 2600:4040:20AC:2900:15AA:9C77:971C:949B ↗ (talk) 03:01, 14 February 2025 (UTC)
::Hi there -- please take this discussion to the relevant talk page, Talk:Council_on_American–Islamic_Relations ↗. I reverted your edit since, upon my review at the time of the revert, it seemed that you were deleting content and references without citing a reliable source in your favor. However it appears that you may be correct -- please use the article's talk page to facilitate that discussion. Additionally, if you are going to remove content from a page (after you have cited this source in your edit and a consensus has been reached to do so), please be sure the quality of the page has not been damaged -- your previous edit ↗ left extraneous characters on the page. <span style="text-shadow:grey 0.3em 0.3em 0.1em"><big><span style="color:red; font-family='Exotc350 Bd BT';">Alxeedo</span></big> <small><span style="color:black;">TALK</span></small></span> 03:07, 14 February 2025 (UTC)

:{{re|User:117.20.154.154}} It appears you've already received useful advice from User:Annh07 which I encourage you to follow. The redirect was initially created by another editor with the intention of waiting for the new cabinet to be announced. While you may be acting in good-faith here, your editing is disruptive ↗. You are currently engaged in an edit war ↗ across multiple IP addresses and accounts. Contributing to the same page or discussion with multiple accounts ↗ and/or editing while logged out in order to mislead ↗ is considered disruptive and against WP policy. I again encourage you to take some time to read the pages User:Annh07 linked before proceeding. <span class="nowrap" style="background:#c6e5e4;padding:2px 10px"><span style="color:#64169e">'''Alxeedo'''</span><span style="color:black"><small>talk</small></span></span> 05:52, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

The World Destubathon ↗

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦ <span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#aba67e">''Dr. Blofeld''</span> 18:32, 15 June 2025 (UTC)

Graham Platner

Hi, I initially thought as you did regarding Platner's job, but the Town of Sullivan refers to the position as "Harbor Master" (https://sullivanmaine.org/town-government-offices-committees/) 331dot (talk) 08:51, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
