Welcome!

Hello, Omatcha, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions ↗. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page :Kawasaki Heavy Industries & Nippon Sharyo C751B ↗ did not conform to Wikipedia's '''verifiability policy ↗''', and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a '''reliable source ↗''' for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research ↗ in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the '''guide for citing sources ↗''' or come to ''' The Teahouse ↗''', where experienced Wikipedians ↗ can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name ↗ on talk pages using four tildes (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need personal help ask me on User talk:Seloloving{{!}}my talk page, or {{edit|Special:MyTalk|ask a question on your talk page|section=new|preload=Help:Contents/helpmepreload|preloadtitle=Help me!}}. <!-- Template:Welcomeunsourced --> Again, welcome.&nbsp; Seloloving (talk) 11:26, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

: {{reply to|Omatcha}} Hello Omatcha! I note your contributions to several of the MRT pages, which I have unfortunately had to revert. Please do link any source you have found in your edit summary, and I may help you reference that in your edits if you are unsure how to. Welcome to Wikipedia again. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Welcome to Wikipedia ↗. We appreciate your contributions ↗, but in one of your recent edits&nbsp;to :Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR Qingdao Sifang C151A ↗, it appears that you have added original research ↗, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say ↗. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source ↗ for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources ↗.

Hello Omatcha. I have unfortunately had to revert your inclusion of two Youtube videos as a source as they are regarded as selfpublished sources and not appropriate for Wikipedia. Please read WP:YTREF ↗ where it details that "self-published media as seen on YouTube are often not acceptable sources". You may reply here if you have any further queries. Thank you! Line delay

Hello Omatcha, thank you for assisting to change all the completion dates on the Jurong Region Line pages. However, there's an error in which you are referring to the line as the "''JRL line''", which would read as "''Jurong Region Line line''". Would you be able to amend the sentence across all the pages?

I suggest simple like "''Initially expected to open in 2028, the restrictions on construction due to the COVID-19 pandemic has led to delays, with the completion date now in 2029.''" Seloloving (talk) 05:50, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

:Hi, I will suggest the same as Seloloving, do also add in a source indicating the delay as well. Thanks --Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 08:42, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Robertsky. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, :Cross Island MRT line ↗, but you didn't provide a reliable source ↗. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation ↗ and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources ↗. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-unsourced1 --> – robertsky (talk) 08:46, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

Removal of information, adding unsourced content, and feedback

Hello Omatcha. Several editors have tried to reach out to you on your editing, please respond on the talkpage if you can.

I recently reverted three mass edits of yours on the trainset pages. I would like to take the time to point out that Kawasaki Heavy Industries C151 ↗ is a Good Article by Wikipedia standards, which classifies certain articles according to their quality. Please do not erase so much content from an established article without engaging on the article talkpage. I could overlook the removal of content from the other two pages if you were rewriting them, especially since they lack proper sources, but your edit summary did not provide a reason. please use edit summaries when doing mass changes.

Your addition of content to the C151 page also listed several information with no sources: "The Land Transport Authority commenced the decommissioning of the KHI trains on 22 June 2020, starting with Train 045/046" and "Under contract R151D, the Land Transport Authority will hand over the remaining decommissioned trains to Toyotron Pte Ltd for dismantling, scrapping and disposal services". Would you have a reliable source for this? Again, take note sources from SGTrains, LandTransportGuru, forums, Youtube, or trainspotters seeing them on the roads cannot be used.

Another editor, Justanothersgwikieditor has also concurred with my advice about the "JRL line" and "CRL line" error. You recently added the same formatting error to the CRL and TEL pages - even copying the "CRL" name to the TEL station pages instead.

Being an editor on Wikipedia means you are required to communicate with other editors per Wikipedia:Competence is required ↗, criteria three. '''This does not imply you are incompetent''', but communication is key to the project as noted. I note that you stopped adding unreliable sources such as Youtube after I wrote to you above, but do please do start to engage with us. We are all here to help. Thank you. Seloloving (talk) 21:21, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

E5 and H5 Series Shinkansen‎

Hey, i've seen you merged the E5 Series Shinkansen and H5 Series Shinkansen articles into a new page, E5 and H5 Series Shinkansen‎ ↗. While i have no doubt that there is consensus to merge the two articles ↗, wouldn't it have been better to merge the H5 series article into the E5 series article to preserve the page's edit history? Also, please don't forget to add the required attribution when copying material from one wikipedia article to another, per Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. Nyamo Kurosawa (talk) 20:34, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
:Quick update: i've taken the liberty to close the merge discussion as "consensus to merge" and have merged the H5 Series page into E5 Series Shinkansen ↗ in order to have a complete and functioning revision history of the page. Also i have redirected the article you started, E5 and H5 Series Shinkansen ↗, to E5 Series Shinkansen, as it duplicated the content of the page. If you have any questions, fell free to ask on my talk page. Best regards and happy editing! Nyamo Kurosawa (talk) 08:14, 29 October 2021 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hi, and thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give :Toei 12-000 series ↗ a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into :Toei 12-000 and Toei 12-600 series ↗. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move ↗", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history ↗, which is legally required for attribution ↗. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be ''moved'' to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits ↗, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab ↗ at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu ↗ for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect ↗ from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves ↗ to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge ↗. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-c&pmove --> XtraJovial (talk) 21:11, 21 November 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of New Rail Financing Framework

Hello Omatcha,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged New Rail Financing Framework ↗ for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source ↗, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can <span class="plainlinks">'''[//en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title={{urlencode:Talk:New Rail Financing Framework}}&action=edit&section=new&preload=Template:Hangon_preload&preloadtitle=This+page+should+not+be+speedy+deleted+because...+ contest this deletion]'''</span>, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page ↗ if you have questions. Thanks!

Proposed deletion ↗ of :Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Crystal Mover C810D ↗

left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗

The article :Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Crystal Mover C810D ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32;because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''Another page already exists. You just copy-pasted this page ↗ to create it it.'''</blockquote>

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> Edgar Searle (talk) 05:15, 15 October 2022 (UTC)

Cut-and-paste moves

You have received a number of notices regarding your cut-and-paste moves ↗ over the past year. '''Please stop making them''' as doing so is disruptive. If you want to move a page, please see this guide ↗, or you can request a move ↗. These options preserve the page history, which is legally required for attribution; cut-and-paste moves do not. English version

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. In a recent edit&nbsp;to the page :Tokyo Metro ↗, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English ↗ in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English ↗. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English ↗. For something related to another English-speaking country ↗, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the ''first'' author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style ↗. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk ↗. June 2025

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in :Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line ↗. There is a Manual of Style ↗, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. ''If you're going to introduce colors into tables, please, at the very least, ensure that your changes follow accessibility guidelines; see MOS:COLOR ↗. Some of your changes to other articles have also made links more difficult to read.''<!-- Template:uw-mos2 --> XtraJovial (talkcontribs ↗) 23:26, 8 June 2025 (UTC)

:At first I was concerned about the contrast ratios of the header cells, but it turns out that your changes also made the tables illegible for anyone who navigates Wikipedia on dark mode, which bothered me enough to revert them. If you're implementing these changes because Singapore MRT/LRT line articles use that style, those fall afoul of accessibility guidelines, too. XtraJovial (talkcontribs ↗) 04:58, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

Please don't add icons and stuff on station line lists

Hello Omatcha. I see that you have edited the station lists pages on some line pages but I have to reiterate that Wikipedia is WP:NOTGUIDE ↗ and these icons aren't helpful. Also, the images should still have the alt text for accessibility. I appreciate some of your edits but not all the time are they as constructive or compliant with Wikipedia standards. A tag has been placed on :Punggol Coast Bus Interchange ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement ↗. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://landtransportguru.net/punggol-coast-bus-interchange/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of ''information'', but not as a source of ''sentences''. This part is crucial: ''say it in your own words''. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators '''will be blocked from editing ↗'''.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you ''must'' verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗ for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy ↗ for more details, or ask a question here ↗.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. <!-- Template:Db-copyvio-notice --><!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> '''<span style="color:#536895;">Onel</span><span style="color:#ffb300;">5969</span>''' <i style="color:blue">TT me</i> 10:27, 18 August 2025 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Circle Line (Singapore) ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Orange ↗. Alt text

Hi, I noticed that you removed alt text from some articles – namely with this edit ↗ and this edit ↗. '''Please do not do this.''' Alt text helps better communicate images if they are unavailable to readers for specific reasons, and they are especially helpful for visually impaired readers. For more information, see MOS:ALT ↗. please help remove ComfortDelgro ↗ from station infoboxes.

Hey Omatcha. I see you have been reformatting the station infoboxes. Tho smth I want to point out: please remove the ComfortDelgro part in the operator, because sources dont really directly say they operate the station and line, and mainly only SBS Transit. On the other hand, SMRT Corporation and SMRT Trains have been used more interchangeably.--ZKang123 (talk '''·''' contribs ↗) 00:22, 25 May 2026 (UTC)

Modifying infobox captions

Hello. I see you have also been updating the captions, but please don't remove the alts as per WP:Accessibility ↗. Also, I prefer keeping the captions short. Plus, the route maps should not be collapsed; I see you have accidentally deleted: <nowiki>| map_state = collapsed</nowiki>

To tell the truth, I prefer if you stop fiddling with the infoboxes, especially now as CCL6 approaches. In fact, there are too many people jumping the gun and also fiddling with the pages. I rather if you can keep the articles to pre-CCL6 first.--ZKang123 (talk '''·''' contribs ↗) 07:33, 31 May 2026 (UTC)

Hello. Please keep to sentence case capitalisation in the future unless they're actual names. Thank you. George13lol2 (talk) 13:06, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
