Your draft article, Draft:Pannotia Proxima ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

Hello, Owen is the best GG. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation ↗ submission or draft ↗ page you started, "Pannotia Proxima ↗".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace ↗, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply {{edit|Draft:Pannotia Proxima|edit the submission}} and remove the {{tlc|db-afc}}, {{tlc|db-draft}}, or {{tlc|db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link ↗. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! <!-- Template:Db-draft-notice --><!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> ji11720 (talk) 22:19, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

James Neesham - teams played for

Hello. I just undid your edit on James Neesham ↗. The problem is that you added Hobart to the teams list - a team that he's only played for in one season. We only have 17 slots for teams and Neesham has played for 20. When this sort of thing happens there are a variety of solutions. One is to only list the teams he played for in more than one season in the infobox, which is the approach that I took recently with the article. That's why I removed Hobart (he did, by the way, play for Auckland in the most recent season, so has played for the side in more than one season in his most recent stint with the province.

If you can find an alternative method to deal with the teams in the infobox I'd be interested to see it. Otherwise I think this is probably the best solution. I'll see any reply you leave here in the next week but after that you'll have to let me know you've replied to this. Thanks. Blue Square Thing (talk) 15:55, 23 May 2024 (UTC)

Cyclone Alfred

In a recent edit ↗ you appear to be adding a citation about the retirement of the name Alfred for cyclones, but the citation you provided didn't go to a web page that mentioned anything about cyclone naming, so I wondered if you accidentally pasted in the wrong citation or something. Kerry (talk) 06:35, 16 November 2025 (UTC)

:I found this mention of the name being retired here ↗, which isn't exactly an official source but I guess better than no source at all. Kerry (talk) 06:42, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
::Thanks; all fixed now Owen is the best GG (talk) 07:26, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
:::Are you sure you remembered to Publish? It still has a citation that makes no mention of the retiring of the name Alfred etc. Kerry (talk) 01:26, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
::::Check again; the link lists a PDF of the Tropical Cyclone Retirement of 2025. You scroll down in the PDF and you can see the names. Owen is the best GG (talk) 03:49, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
:::::The link cited is https://community.wmo.int/tropical-cyclone-operational-plans-0 which does not mention anything about "Alfred"and the link from that page to the PDF about the South Pacific doesn't mention Alfred either.
:::::Your citation must go to the webpage that contains the supporting information. If it is PDF or other paginated document, it should also contain the page number (or link directly to the page). It is not sufficient to just point to an entrypoint webpage and expect the reader/reviewer to wander around hoping to stumble on the information by good luck. Kerry (talk) 03:02, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
::::::Go to the 2025 operational plan PDF; most retirement sources of Australia region has that type of source. Page 20 and 25 will mention of the retirement sources Owen is the best GG (talk) 04:28, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
:::::::If you know where it is, please cite it! Kerry (talk) 00:20, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
::::::::Sure, and note that Zelia’s retirement source is the same one I put for Alfred Owen is the best GG (talk) 01:06, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::Great. Fix them both then. Kerry (talk) 06:00, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::I can see the problem may be the weird URLs being used by the website in question. I have added what I think is the citation we need for both the Cyclone Alfred and Cyclone Zelia retirements and replacements. Kerry (talk) 07:45, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::::I note that you appear to be using the mobile interface, which is quite difficult to do more than copyedits. You might find it earlier to use a desktop/laptop as then you can use the Visual Editor which makes citation a lot easier. Kerry (talk) 07:46, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::::, . Both are the same link, but my source can have the PDF being publicly accessed via the Operational Plan link, even though it does not explicitly state the retirement source before clicking on the PDF, but when I go directly to the PDF link, it requires signing it. its all very confusing whilst my source, while not explicitly stated unless the 2025 PDF is open, has the PDF being visible to everyone. Owen is the best GG (talk) 09:29, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::::::Yeah, it seems to require a Microsoft login, which I have so that's probably why the URL worked for me. I added the 7News citation about the retirement of Alfred as a backup. Kerry (talk) 21:25, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::::::I've added going via the Operational plan into the citation to provide the alternative entry point. Better? Kerry (talk) 21:36, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::Yes! Owen is the best GG (talk) 22:01, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::::::::I have added the alternative entry point to Cyclone Zelia's retirement as well. Kerry (talk) 22:18, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::Cool! Next time, we will add a specific source! Owen is the best GG (talk) 22:23, 19 November 2025 (UTC)

Please don't trust everything you see on Vicsig, it could potentially be wrong with the mass Comeng withdrawals. It has happened before when a Comeng set on Vicsig wrongly showed that particular set is withdrawn. Please wait until more confirmation has came. These particular sets were in service just a few weeks ago but are currently stored at Calder Park. Your recent edit to Typhoon Tip ↗

Hi there, why did you add ↗ the PAGASA name back to the first sentence of Tip’s article? There were barely any PAGASA affects, and there’s no evidence Tip was widely known as Warling. Considering Tip’s article is largely for its strength and Japanese impact, I reverted, since IMO there’s no need to include the PAGASA name in the first sentence when there are barely any Philippine impacts.
