Wikipedia:Database reports/Editors eligible for Autopatrol privilege ↗

Today, I visited the page and found that you are in the top of the list with over 9،000 articles! I initially thought that you have created so many pages and you aren't autopatrolled yet. But looking at the stats I can conclude that most of the pages that are highlighted as mainspace articles are actually redirects nominated at RfD (that's a high number!). Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Unfortunately though your redirects' fate would be mass-deletion as far as it goes. Probably the same with the list of users with the most articles created (haven't checked that though) but thanks again for your contributions. ToadetteEdit (talk) 05:15, 21 June 2025 (UTC)

:Hi ToadetteEdit! Thanks for reaching out. On the list of users with the most articles created, I believe I'm in the top few thousand editors, since I have a large number of active articles unrelated to redirects. The RfD nomination came as a shock to me, although I didn't do it to get my numbers up, but instead to contribute to Wikipedia to the best of my ability. What can I do to get to autopatrol privileges? I would love to continue to expand into the community and contribute, and continue to get better after ten years on Wikipedia. PickleG13 (talk) 05:25, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
::That is a tricky question. The standard for autopatrolled is 25 clean articles. But your recent article creations should comply with the policies, e.g., WP:V ↗, WP:NPOV ↗, WP:Copyrights ↗ etc, and guidelines e.g. WP:N ↗ and others. It should rather preferably be the type of article as described at Wp:The perfect article ↗. Although WP:GA ↗s are better. That said, if a patroller finds you creating clean articles consistently, they can nominate you for autopatrol at WP:PERM/A ↗. You can also request yourself, although IMO, this is a bit discouraged unless you have created hundreds of pages. ToadetteEdit (talk) 05:40, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
:::Thank you for the advice, ToadetteEdit. I have been credited by Wikipedia with more than 300 articles, but I only believe that I really deserve credit for 109 of those. (This excludes all redirects, and all of these are listed on my page.) Appreciate your help, hope I'll meet the cut someday, and I would love to help you out with any of your own projects in any way that I can! PickleG13 (talk) 05:44, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
::::Hello, PickleG13,
::::I just thought I'd let you know that ToadetteEdit has been community banned from working on this project. I don't think they gave you any bad advice. But just encourage you that if you are interested in being auto-patrolled, just apply for this permission. If there are issues, then the admin reviewing cases will let you know. But you won't know until you try. Good luck. <span style="font-family:Papyrus; color:#800080;">'''''L'''''iz</span> '''''Read!''''' ↗ '''''Talk!''''' 07:20, 5 July 2025 (UTC)

I have worked on adding categories to your redirects. Some I have not touched as maybe you know more about the subject matter and how to categorize them. I recommend this script to assist you: User:Eejit43/scripts/redirect-helper. Best wishes! Red Director (talk) 22:42, 21 June 2025 (UTC)

Women in Red

Hi there, PickleG13, and welcome to Women in Red. It's good to have such an experienced editor as a member of our project. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 15:11, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

:Thank you so much, Ipigott! I'm looking forward to helping the project. I've experienced problems in the past with creating pages for both living and deceased women on Wikipedia, even ones where notability seems entirely clear, so I will certainly reach out if I need any help. Autopatrolled granted

right|80px ↗
Hi PickleG13, I just wanted to let you know that I have <span class="plainlinks">added ↗</span> the autopatrolled user right ↗ to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed ↗. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested ↗ on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers ↗.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject ↗ templates, stub tags ↗, categories ↗, and incoming links ↗ to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies ↗, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller ↗ yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! voorts (talk/contributions ↗) 22:13, 1 August 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''articles about living or recently deceased people ↗, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully and constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

<p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics ''procedures'', you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic here ↗. Regarding your vote for weak delete of the :Aileen Adams (public figure) ↗ article

Hi, PickleG13 - I have added further reference citations to the Aileen Adams (public figure) ↗ article to underscore the subject's notability. I had earlier thought that primarily her appointment to the Federal public office should have established notability in of itself, but there are also other supportive facts that might establish notability in totality. So, I hope you might review your vote for weak delete in light of the additional material.

Also, I responded to your mention of the "parentheticals" on the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aileen Adams (public figure) ↗ page - the article name likely needs a differentiating label as there was already an "Aileen Adams" article. As her primary claims to fame were her roles in public offices, I thought "public figure" might be the best descriptor. But, perhaps you had some other label in mind that might work better? Thank you, WmLawson (talk) 16:04, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Rae Huang Endorsements

Hey. I just wanted to talk you about one of the endorsements, Feel The Bern San Fernando Valley. What do you think is a more reliable source of information for a mayoral endorsement? Roko03634 (talk) 01:46, 29 April 2026 (UTC)

:This is a great question, and I appreciate you asking! I created both the 2022 ↗ and 2026 Los Angeles mayoral election ↗ pages, so I frequently added sources to the former that were later removed under Wikipedia's strict endorsement policy. It's become more enforced over time, which is why Tweets have gone from being fully valid to being out of bounds on many pages. Here is the official policy: WP:ENDORSE ↗. Thank you for contributing to this page! PickleG13 (talk) 19:48, 29 April 2026 (UTC)

Bob Weis retired President Walt Disney Imagimeerimg

Seeking Wikipedia page and will fully cooperate. Also two books Dream Chasing Penguin Random House and Ghost Dog , third book for Disney on way. bobweis.com &#126;2026-29484-84 ↗ (talk) 16:49, 16 May 2026 (UTC)

:Hi Bob! I feel honored that you would reach out to me after a very accomplished career at Walt Disney Imagineering ↗ and ask for me to create your Wikipedia page. Seeing that you are clearly notable, but wanting to avoid any potential conflict of interest after this request, I have put a lot of work into this draft: Draft:Bob Weis ↗. Please check it out and let me know what you think (if there's anything missing, incorrect, etc.) and where I might find good sources. PickleG13 (talk) 21:08, 14 June 2026 (UTC)

Adam Bezark

Hey, PickleG13 - Thank you for creating a Wikipedia page about me! I was genuinely surprised to discover it. I see that it's a stub... is there additional information I can provide to fill it out? (Also, Bob Weis rules! Please get his page going, too.) :-) AjBezark (talk) 02:41, 17 May 2026 (UTC)

:Hi AjBezark! Thank you so much for reaching out. It's an honor to have someone who I created a page for reach out. I would love to expand it. The main thing here on Wikipedia that we look for is reliable third-party sourcing. What kinds of topics feel like they're missing from your page, and where might I find good sourcing for them?
