Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Category:Tsunamis in North Korea ↗

A tag has been placed on :Category:Tsunamis in North Korea ↗ indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category ↗, a category redirect ↗, a featured topics category ↗, under discussion at Categories for discussion ↗, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. Kenneth Smith
Link provided does not show that execution has been carried out yet? I can find nothing online confirming execution has been carried out yet Jmcaoat (talk) 00:51, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
:That's because there is nothing online yet (as of 7:53 PM EST). Having the benefit of the doubt, I assume Probium577 is acting in good faith and just assuming the execution must have taken place by now – but no sources have confirmed it. The two sources Probium577 attached to the sentence stating that Kenneth Smith ↗ had been executed both linked to articles stating that the execution was planned, but hadn't been carried out; one of those articles was published last year. Afddiary (talk) 00:54, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Jumping the gun, re: Kenneth Smith
Hello - just letting you know that you should not update articles without having citations that corroborate the information you are adding. You have edited the article for Kenneth Smith (criminal) ↗ several times over the past few minutes while not adding any sources that confirm that the execution has been carried out. (As of 7:57 EST, the execution has not been reported in any news sources.) Frankly, that's jumping the gun. Please refrain from editing the article again until the death is confirmed by reputable sources that actually reflect that the execution has taken place.
Other editors are finding it necessary to revert your edits, and we should not have to do that. Afddiary (talk) 00:57, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Israel Final Fortress ↗
48px|left|alt=|link= ↗
A tag has been placed on :Israel Final Fortress ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
<blockquote>Created by a non extended confirmed user</blockquote>
Under the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=Israel+Final+Fortress|deleting administrator}}, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here ↗. <!-- Template:Db-reason-notice --> Zalaraz (talk) 06:10, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''the Arab–Israeli conflict ↗''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully and constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia ↗;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines ↗;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system ↗.
<p><strong>Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days ↗, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.</strong></p><p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics ''procedures'', you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic here ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template. </p>}}<!-- Derived from Template:Contentious topics/alert/first --> Significa liberdade <small>(she/her)</small> (talk) 16:41, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
