Disambiguation link notification for March 30
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Caverna High School ↗, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Appointed ↗ was added. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>

:Thank you reviewing over my submission, but I was under the impression from WP:Articles for deletion/Common outcomes#School districts ↗ that my article would count towards notability guidelines. I understand that I need more sources, but from what is provided I also assumed that notability could not be denied.

:Also the article that I created is NOT a school and is a school district, and thus does not follow school notability guidelines. JanManisijun (talk) 05:49, 26 April 2026 (UTC)
::Thanks for your concern, I appreciate it and understand that your draft doesn't adhere to WP:NSCHOOL. But, even though it should demonstrate some extent of notability on its own by independent bodies, which I don't see here. Spelling errors are spelling errors in ANY language!
Dear Jan Manisijun,
thanks for your correction. In the civilized old world (Europe), we assume that educated speakers are able to master the languages of culture (Latin, French, German, English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese). (Incidentally, I require Latin and three modern foreign languages from all my Ph.D. students!)
Your don't seem to be familiar with the Hungarian language at all. (It is admittedly very difficult!) It would be better if you limited your editing to languages and topics which you know. (By the way, are you a musicologist ???)
In any case, names of individual people (Molnár & Eötvösné, p.e.) need to be written correctly in ANY language in order to make sense to the educated reader...
With best wishes

:I apologize for clearly upsetting you based on the naming conventions of people mentioned within an article.
:To see if I did make a mistake, I have checked the edit history for the page and have seen that I completely overlooked the concept of your edit and what you have done.
:So, I also apologize for being non-constructive in ''my'' revision.

:Hi!
:I appreciate your efforts to keeping the page up to date! However, I would personally advise that you keep the information there, since a lot of it was previous accomplishments of the team. If they have discontinued those sports, it would be better to add something to the end of that section saying so. And, if you can, add a source that someone can check to see if that's true.

::::It was a single edit that reverted multiple edits of mine. I had edit summaries specifying exactly what I was doing. If you revert unsourced info into the article, ''you'' must add the sourcing at the same time, See WP:BURDEN ↗. Doctor Hashtable (talk) 15:12, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

Rollback granted
right|130px ↗
Hi JanManisijun. After reviewing your request, I have <span class="plainlinks">enabled ↗</span> '''rollback ↗''' on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle ↗ or Ultraviolet ↗. It just adds a ''[rollback]'' button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert <em>clear and unambiguous cases</em> of vandalism {{emu|only}}. <em>Never</em> use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see {{section link|Wikipedia:Rollback|When to use rollback}}.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war ↗, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, <strong>''ask!''</strong>
Pending changes reviewer granted
right|130px ↗
Hello. Your account has been granted the "{{mono|pending changes reviewer}}" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits ↗ on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges ↗, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages ↗.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

The Draft:Doug Gilding page
Hi Jan! Tennessee girl? Florida girl here! I saw your comment over on Dafootballguy's talk page, and it seems like you're super-knowledgeable about the whole process, so I thought I'd post over here. Below is the message replied to Dafootballguy after he commented on the page I was trying to fix. Any and all suggestions and help would be awesome! Because, like I said below, I saw the documentary about this guy, and I think they oughtta change the law. It's ridiculous! Anyhow, I really have no clue what I'm doing, but read the guidelines and had AI help...so, I'm trying! Here's what I told Dafootballguy....
Hi! Thank you for your comment! I've never done any edits on Wiki until the other day, and am still learning... I am actually a child psychologist, and stumbled across Georgetown's documentary about Gilding's case. I think it's a travesty; our system is so broken and corrupt. And then to see that the governor let Ryan Holle out of prison, but Gilding has been in for 30 years... makes me want to move to another country sometimes! Anyhow, I saw that the Doug Gilding wiki page had been deleted, and thought maybe I could fix it. Wikipedia is such a good resource, I feel like Gilding's story and attempts at advocacy should be on there for all to see. I've been reading the guidelines, and honestly, asking for a lot of help from A.I. - ha! I'm open to any help and advice! Tell me what you mean about the Youtube cites please, and thank you for your help! - Nikki :-) ~2026-34066-75 ↗ (talk) 21:34, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
:Hi Nikki, Florida girl!
:I appreciate you taking the time to look into Wikipedia's guidelines and policies when working on the Draft:Doug Gilding ↗ page.
:I can see that you have already submitted the article for review, which is a step in the right direction. User:Dafootballguy's comment was a suggestion to find secondary, reliable sources for the information found in the YouTube links. YouTube, and other video sharing links, are typically sources that don't fit Wikipedia's guidelines. YouTube links also have a copyright concern, even when used as in-line citations (see WP:YOUTUBE ↗ for more information).
:Seeing that you have a personal opinion on the matter, I would like to remind you take care to adhere to WP:NPOV ↗, which from my skimming it appears as if you have. Just a precautionary disclaimer!
:Since you appear to be new to Wikipedia, welcome! If you have even a minor question about what to do or how a policy or guidelines functions, do not be scared to run to the WP:Teahouse ↗. It's a question board designed for newcomers and Wikipedians of all kinds.
:If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask me or anyone else, especially at the Teahouse!
:Cheers ---- <span style="border-radius:3em;padding:5px;background:#B5F3FF;">'''jan Manisijun''' (talk | cont ↗ | sign)</span> 17:15, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
::Ok, thank you Jan! I just read the WP:YOUTUBE page; and I see that although there is no blanket ban on Youtube cites, that copyright is a real issue. So, of the 4 Youtube references in the draft, I think 2 of them I'll have to remove because of possible copyrights by HBO and NBC News...but I think maybe the other 2 that have actual interviews with Doug might be ok.
::Also, as for the NPOV, I myself have no skin in the game; but yes, I think it's messed up what they did to Doug...but I tried super hard to keep the article a neutral tone ;-) Thank you for your help Jan! Have a good one! ~2026-34066-75 ↗ (talk) 22:54, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

Because toki pona speakers improve Wikipedia so much, I'm so happy to see you here. :(Hi!
:It's true that a lot of toki pona people improve Wikipedia!
:This fact does not bring any surprise to me. A lot of tokiponists are very knowledgeable, strong, and good at a lot of things.
:In my time on Wikipedia, I haven't me a lot of people that speak toki pona here.
:Also, my name came from my friend group, since two of them used periodic table names towards making their name. I needed a new username, and I liked my friends a lot, so I used the same name scheme. We used these usernames on Discord.
