Upcoming expiry of your patroller right
Hi, this is an automated reminder as part of Global reminder bot ↗ to let you know that your permission "patroller" (New page reviewers) will expire on 00:00, 16 April 2026 (UTC). For most rights, you will need to renew at WP:PERM ↗, unless you have been told otherwise when your right was approved. <small>{{grey|To opt out of user right expiry notifications, add yourself to m:Global reminder bot/Exclusion ↗.}}</small> Leaderbot (talk) 19:41, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted
right|80px ↗
Hi Minnastronomer, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right ↗ to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation ↗ tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed ↗. If you asked for this at requests for permissions ↗, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol ↗. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers ↗ to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle ↗, configure it ↗ to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies ↗
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources ↗. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, '''''Rosguill''''' ''talk'' 18:48, 17 April 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Malvoliox. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, :Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party ↗, but you didn't provide a reliable source ↗. Ai Assumption on my article (Edit we are working to resolve issue I apologize for bad assumptions to this user)
Hello Minnastronomer. I am a somewhat new Wikipedia user, and have just recently noticed that you rudely deleted my Flat Creek Montana article because it seemed like a.i. I can assure you that I did not use a.i. assuming that I used a.i. Maybe before you just make an assumption, you should use an ai checker to really see.Additionally, I had an unfair disadvantageas I could not contest the speedy deletion. I kindly ask for a simple favor for Yyou to restore my page. I am simply trying to improve coverage of places on Wikipedia, especially in my homestate, Montana. I would also would like you to know that I have a wide variety in my writing, and often times can be very formal and not that formal. Although it is still very rude of you to assume this was a.i., many other teachers I have had have read a pape or other assignment of mine and thought it was ai, but then used a program to look at my page history, and found out it wasn't ai. So, I ask for favor. Restore my Flat Creek Montana page. Lets just end this conflict peacefully and maturely. Also, please respond ASAP to this message
Sincerely,
Grizfan37
I thought you were doing fine, until the user page threat .. you might want to remove that part. Bringingthewood (talk) 01:37, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
:I came here after {{u|Grizfan37}} requested un-deletion at WP:REFUND ↗. While it does looks like error to me as all the references were valid and at least mentioned the subject, threats are not acceptable. {{u|Grizfan37}}, do not threaten vandalism such as "I will ruin your user talk page", and do not SHOUT with caps and make demands. Follow your own advice and communicate with others {{tq| peacefully and maturely}}. Please see the guideline Assume good faith ↗ — we are inundated with AI/LLM slop but people make honest mistakes so a polite query was all that was needed. It should be noted that Bringingthewood just flagged the article and is not an admin so did not delete the article or have the ability to undelete it. As you updated the title with {{tq|I apologize for bad assumptions to this user}} I will take that as you already realise you had overstepped and leave it at that. I have commented on the refund request and will give the deleting admin time to respond. Regards KylieTastic (talk) 16:30, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
::Thank you for acknowledging my error. Again, I greatly and sincerely apologize for my rude words and take back all threats I made. At the time, I really did not mean any of them. I hope everyone who is dealing with this situation forgives me. Thank you for your understanding. Also, I am thankful for all of those who helped retrieve my article.I will revise it to sound as natural and non a.i. as possible Grizfan37 (talk) 23:59, 28 April 2026 (UTC)

New Page Patrol Draft:GEOX AI ↗ Updated, as per Feedback
: Hello, thank you for taking the time to review the draft and for the feedback. Based on your suggestion regarding the imbalance between the number of references and the amount of content, I have expanded the article substantially and improved its structure with additional sections covering the overview, technology, and applications of GEOX AI.
: The draft is no longer limited to a short single-paragraph description, and I have also adjusted the wording to maintain a more neutral encyclopedic tone.
: I would appreciate it if you could review the updated draft again when possible:

Couple minor things
Hey there. I saw your edit summary {{tq|I think this is absolutely notable, if you dispute that, please send me a message}} on my watchlist. Couple minor tips. 1) Article subjects are WP:NOTABLE ↗ (or not notable), but article content is WP:DUE ↗ (or undue). Article content cannot be notable in the normal Wikipedia sense of the term. 2) Article content is usually discussed on the article talk page rather than in user talk messages. Hope that helps. Happy editing. –<span style="color:blue">'''Novem Linguae'''</span> <small>(talk)</small> 08:15, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
:For WP:NOTABLE ↗ I was just using the language used by the editor who reverted by addition. You are correct that due is the more accurate terminology. Thanks for the reply. Minnastronomer (talk) 22:47, 17 May 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from :Tim Pawlenty ↗ into :Draft:History of the Republican Party of Minnesota ↗. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{tl|copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination.{{pb}} Please add attribution if no one has done so yet. Question about an AFC you accepted
I'm curious why you accepted John S. Bradstreet ↗; it's been speedily deleted as unreviewed LLM content with nonsensical or nonexistent refs which were present in the first revision of the article. I understand mistakes can happen but if 5+ of the refs don't even exist... how are you missing that? Electricmemory (talk) ''In solidarity ↗'' 18:24, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
:As the article is now deleted, I'm afraid I can't point to specific examples. I didn't look terribly thoroughly at the sources. I saw MNHS cited, I verified it was a real notable figure, and didn't look too much further into it. Usually I don't need to. Clearly, I was too quick in my review. Knowing what I do know, I am thankful it is gone. Minnastronomer (talk) 20:47, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
Neutrality tag
Hi @Minnastronomer - you tagged the article for Francis X. Shen ↗ as having disputed neutrality, but didn't add anything to the Talk page on it. I left a comment on the Talk page but didn't hear back so figured I'd leave a comment here. Is your concern related to the part about his political campaign or something else? Also, do you view the page as being pro-Shen or anti-Shen? Or a different issue? I'd like to make edits to get it better but am still not sure what the concern is. Thanks! Dflovett (talk) 02:51, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
:I believe my issue was that the article, specifically the career section, reads as a list of accomplishments. I think the article could be improved by adding more information about his life besides his jobs and alma mater. At the time the article was tagged he was currently running a political campaign, and I though it possible that the article was simply listing achievements so that potential voters would look him up and see only his qualifications, and thus could be swayed towards voting for him. However, with his political campaign now suspended, these concerns are no longer applicable. I still believe adding more life information to the article would be beneficial, however is perhaps of slightly less concern without the possibility of immediate political ramifications. Minnastronomer (talk) 03:26, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
::That makes sense! I can try to make some edits that adds in more. Although I get what you mean about it seeming less urgent now that the campaign is suspended. Dflovett (talk) 03:38, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Thank you. I look forward to seeing the article improve. Minnastronomer (talk) 03:44, 4 June 2026 (UTC)

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Consulate General of Nepal, Kolkata ↗
48px|left|alt=|link= ↗
A tag has been placed on :Consulate General of Nepal, Kolkata ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because it is a redirect from the article namespace ↗ to a different namespace ↗ except the Category ↗, Template ↗, Wikipedia ↗, Help ↗, or Portal ↗ namespaces.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. <!-- Template:Db-rediruser-notice -->

Your draft article, Draft:William G. Kubicek ↗
48px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Hello, Minnastronomer. This message concerns the Articles for Creation ↗ submission or draft ↗ page you started, "William G. Kubicek ↗".
Drafts that go unedited for six months are eligible for deletion, in accordance with our draftspace policy ↗, and this one has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply {{edit|Draft:William G. Kubicek|edit the submission}}, and remove the {{tlc|db-afc}}, {{tlc|db-draft}}, or {{tlc|db-g13}} code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you read this, you can '''request its undeletion''' ↗. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the draft so you can continue to work on it.

I think we have a different opinion of what is ready for mainspace and what is not yet ready.
The article is sourced by a single source, and appears to be titled incorrectly. :Usually, a new article such as this is worked on following approval. I reasonably expected that the article would see activity and improvements after approval. To my dismay, the improvements I wanted to happen were not made. Minnastronomer (talk) 16:16, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
re govs
It's one thing to know the longest or shortest serving governor - but what does it add to go to the detail of days? Also, you argued that the column should be there because "other lists like it have one," but when I pointed out that fifty lists like it don't have one, you said they should, which undermines the entire argument: It should have the column because others have it, and if others don't have it, they should. It's suddenly not an argument of "other stuff exists". --Golbez (talk) 01:33, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
Alternative accounts?
Hello Minnastronomer, it seems like you may be operating several accounts that have not been disclosed. This is usually disallowed by policy ↗, since it runs into the risk of a potential deceptive practice. If this is the case, please disclose ↗ any alternative accounts you might have on your userpage, or contact the Arbitration Committee ↗. Thanks, Staraction (talk <b>·</b> contribs ↗) 05:41, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
:I suspected this might happen. I have been getting a few of my friends onto wikipedia, since they've been interested in it but didn't know how to start here. I've had them set up userpages and usually also ask them to sign my guestbook if they want. They are not alt accounts of mine, but they are accounts I've helped my friends set up. Minnastronomer (talk) 06:27, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
::Well, it's not "a few" that have raised concerns. There are other accounts, such as {{np|Abby000000000}}, which are technically related but not to a concerning degree. But there's specifically just one other account, whose behaviour appears very similar to yours, and also is ''very'' strongly technically linked to this account. I don't want to out what might be a privacy alt of some kind. But if it's a privacy alt, it's extremely discoverable behaviourally, and you may want to abandon it.
